I had 2 systems installed in ~2012 that worked fine for 13-years (HVAC systems are designed for…read more20-years but can last longer with proper maintenance). This Winter, the secondary heat exchanger (HX) in the basement system failed. I did the troubleshooting myself and even shared the manufacturer's technical bulleting (warranty), but the technician did not read my email before he came out. He tried to argue with me and sell me a new unit without doing the proper troubleshooting himself. In the end, he was right; a new unit was the best solution - but I don't think he REALLY knew why. I spoke to a manager, because I didn't want to pay $96 for essentially nothing, but I will pay them. Company policy is they won't work manufacturer's warranty claims on systems over 10-years old because other parts get damaged during the repair that are not covered (I partially accept this reasoning, only because I'm on the consumer end and I didn't damage anything when I disassembled it). They gave me a rough quote for $6,000 which is a fair and reasonable price. I decided to buy my own and install it myself for about $2,600 (furnace and extra parts - my labor was free). During the installation process, I learned from the install guide the furnace must be pitched ~1/4" per foot to ensure proper condensate drainage. When I checked the failed furnace in the basement that they installed in 2012, it was pitched greater than1/4" per foot in the wrong direction. When I disassembled the old unit, I can see the secondary heat exchanger was corroded and failed at the bottom because the condensate could not drain properly. To be proactive, I checked the upstairs unit, and it was installed correctly. This is a good company, and I would go to them again but if you are a technician coming to my house, beware, I don't trust you until you show me different! You already caused me premature system failure because I didn't watch you. If you are a consumer, have a trusted owners rep QC them (or any of these HVAC companies for that matter). Their managers expect more but they can't supervise all their technicians in the field. If they are in a hurry, they will take short cuts that you may not see for years. Watch for those (I must finish in one mobilization) red flags. John G. Webster: You are only getting this review publicly because you were way too slow responding to my calls when I asked for help regarding the service call. And because of that, you lost out on this sale, but I'll probably call you in a few years to replace my upstairs system.

I am Jenny Du. I posted a plumbing service request and received a call from your company. You…read morearranged for your plumber Earl to contact me directly. He claimed to have spoken with my tenant, understood the issue, and could come later that day for an inspection. He stated clearly that there would be a flat rate inspection fee of $59.95, as advertised and above message sent to me via your Yelp page. I provided my credit card number based on that agreement and waited for updates. By 8 PM, I had received no call. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. I hereby put you on formal notice of the following: Your advertising and initial representations were deceptive and constitute fraud; You intentionally avoided contacting the cardholder at the time of visit under the pretense of it being too late; You charged a significantly higher amount without authorization; No actual repair was performed since the water was still leaking. and I have written statements, messages, and screenshots from multiple tenants to confirm this. You are instructed to cease all informal contact attempts with me or any associated parties. This matter will be resolved solely through formal and lawful means. If you believe you have a legitimate claim, you are entitled to pursue it through legal channels--as am I. All further communication from my side will be documented and may be used in future legal or consumer protection actions.

Let's talk about how my water heater started leaking during one of winter's last cold spells LOL!!!…read moreTo stop the leakage, I had to turn it off... which means I didn't have any hot water, yikes! Thankfully the mess didn't get out of control -- but waiting on the claims process from my warranty was a bit of a pain and back and forth, no doubt. After dealing with them, I learned I had to replace my unit... and thankfully, while it was free, I had to pay for installation, which was going to be quite hefty through them. Thankfully, my dad had just gotten some related work done, and asked the guy about it. And a few days later, Mohamed was able to come out to my house and take care of everything for a much better price than what was being suggested through my warranty! He also noticed two small leaks in the pipes around my water heater and fixed them without charging too much extra. It's been a few weeks now, and everything is still working wonderfully. He was very professional and polite, and I would recommend him for other jobs in his skillset. Can my hot water go down in the summer next time?

This is a business and we needed to get down to the bottom of what was going on quickly. After spending an hour here we had answers and not long after an estimate with fair pricing on what needed to be done. He was quick to schedule the appointment to return and fixed our problem. Omar is super friendly and really made this an easy process for someone who knows nothing about HVAC :) You will not regret hiring him for the job.
