This is a solo practice where they work hard to make sure a patient doesn't wait for their scheduled appointment. So unlike the other dermatology practices in the area that feel like factories with waiting rooms overflowing with people long overdue for their appointments. The staff at Dermatology Associates is always warm, welcoming, and professional. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. What a nice feeling to walk into this office! I feel so grateful that this is my doctor. His expertise in identifying my misdiagnosed condition saved my life. And how many people can actually say that about any of their doctors?! Management wouldn't get back to me and I asked to speak with the doctor twice because they made a change medication and I had some concerns and questions. I finally got through to Dr. Grace Bandow, she kindly answered my questions and concerns regarding the medication change, but did not seem to care that her staff treated me poorly. I informed her that I was going to look for a new provider based on the care that I received and she seemed very indifferent and offered no apology. So if you would like to be treated like a number if you would like to be treated like a piece of dirt, then this is the dermatologist office for you. Dr Godwin was Aprox the 4tho 5th Dr. I went to for my skin. I can not express how grateful I am…read morethat I went to him. He performed a simple biopsy that the previously seen Drs chose not to do. I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and am beyond grateful that I finally got real direction from Dr Godwin so I wasn't wasting anymore time. The Drs I saw prior to Dr Godwin unethically just prescribed various antibiotics which were pointless as they did no testing of any kind to see exactly what type of treatmebt I needed. Although I'm still struggling to find the best medical treatment for my illness, I am grateful Dr Godwin was able to get me headed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this practice as the staff ( Jean esp) has been so supportive and accommodating as I've battled this disease. I've suffered chronically for several years to the point I started to doubt myself. I got to a point that I started to question if my symptoms were all in my head. I can honestly say that I would trust Dr.Godwin's professional opinion or treatment with my children. Words honestly can't express how much I appreciate the support, experience, and the fact that he took my words into account vs. brushing off my concerns. I will continue to seek the treatment I need to hopefully make a full recovery but I will ensure that Dr. Godwin's part of this plan as I trust him which is not easy after several personal bad experiences from the medical community. I will continue to fight this fight and pray that Dr Godwin is in my corner in the ring.
