When calling the office for an appt we were screened with the standard Covid questions and none of what they asked were any of my daughters symptoms. The issue she was being seen for was something that was a reoccurring thing that she had been treated for by this group before. They decided to add the symptom of vomiting ( only once we got there)as a reason Deirdre would now, not see her. Even the note on the dr to the office of no entry requirements did not specify this. I don't think the time was even taken to look into the fact that this same condition is in my daughters history! We were concerned that the effected skin was getting infected which has occurred before and has made my daughter sick to her stomach in the past. And Deirdre herself never showed to explain anything and sent the extremely rude and unprofessionally mannered office girl to tell us to leave. I preceded to take my daughter to the ER not knowing what else to do since her primary saw her and is the one that wanted her to see a dermatologist. When we arrived at the ER and they literally were rolling their eyes at the fact that we were sent there! The Dr. asked my daughter if seeing the dermatitis around the eyes swelling to such a degree stressed her and seeing she struggles with anxiety ( in her medical records!) that could have caused the early morning vomit reaction or maybe the discomfort and amount of fluid buildup being so uncomfortable could also have been the reason, but that obviously it had nothing to do with Covid-19 to them and she felt that some people are just neurotic. The Dr on staff thought it was crazy to take a standard office patient condition visit and put that on the ER also! Shame on the way this was handled!

Reached out to reschedule a new patient appt I had Oct 2023 in Sept 2023 due to conflict and the…read morenext available appt was late December via text. It was never confirmed that it was booked and would have expected like every other dr office in the state to get a reminder given it was months away. Since there was no reminder I did not know I had an appt and was in the middle of dealing with a personal emergency. They sent me a bill trying charge me a no show fee for appointment and when I explained that I didn't receive any reminder they said that was a courtesy but not standard practice which is ridiculous. They said they would waive the fee this time and I explained that I would not be continue with this practice.

When they implemented a new policy I was told Dr Wilder had approved , I asked him to call me for a 2 minute call so I could share a concern as a customer/patient. His staff told me he literally refused to call, & would only "let" me share my concern at my next appointment in 2 months. Honestly - because I respected the business (past tense) I was just trying to help him notice a potential issue where he might lose future/current business. I didn't want or ask for any money, refunds, or special treatment. Just wanted to share, and he made it clear that listening to patients who wanted to help was NOT important. And now - I've found w/in about 3 minutes work a highly rated Dermatologist that is 5 minutes from my house AND will speak to me on the phone (gasp!). So thanks Dr Wilder & the Adult & Pediatric Dermatology team - you helped me get motivated to find care that actually... cares!

Only when I was…read morefinally placed in a room (40 mins after my appointment time), the nurse informed me that new patients are not eligible for full body exams. Clearly a money grab and I'm not a new patient, I just haven't been in a handful of years. What else is a preliminary dermatology visit if not a full-body skin check? Even more concerning is his creepiness. Although the nurse was very adamant that I could not receive a full-body check, Dr. Patrignelli decided to ONLY check my back and breasts under my garments. These areas were not areas I stressed as concern. I asked him specifically to look at my thigh, he removed the mole, but didn't even inspect the rest of my leg. He also inappropriately asked if I had a boyfriend and used dating apps.

I asked the receptionist to mute the sound but she said it was their policy leave it as it was. When I was brought into the exam room, the nurse asked me why I was there and I told her I needed an annual skin check. She told me they don't do full body checks for new patients. She did not give me a reason other than reiterating this policy. I asked her why no one had previously asked me my reason for the visit on the phone so that I could have been told earlier about this policy, but she had no answer. Feeling uncomfortable, I chose to leave. She asked, "You don't even want a face and back check?" No, thank you. I will seek out a practice where I feel more comfortable.
