Several years ago I went in search of a plastic surgeon to get liposuction. I also thought that I wanted a female doctor. Moving forward, I learned that I would not be happy with just liposuction and that I really required a tummy tuck with liposuction. I set up 3 consultations, the first on with a female dr, my second consultation was with Dr Baroody and I canceled my 3rd consultation because... Dr Baroody stood out from the moment I met him. I came prepared with all of my "hard" questions and he was equally prepared to answer them and then he shared that my tummy tuck would probably be drainless and I said "sign me up!!". From the moment I decided that he would be my surgeon to the date of my surgery was several months, giving me time to decide whether I wanted a BL/BA at the same time. I went back to see Dr B and chat things through with him several times. He never made me feel rushed, through any of my appointments. I was incredibly nervous and he had only kind, uplifting things to say, stressing the importance of staying positive for a good healing experience. I can't imagine going to anyone else because his aftercare is 2nd to none! Dr Baroody will see you every week until the last scab has healed. I have all of the things that a woman would want in a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation. My stomach is beautifully flat, I have an adorable belly button and a really cute set of tatas. Everything is perfectly proportional. I recently went back to Dr B for a face and neck lift. I'm still in the healing process but I must say.... He did a stellar job! I look amazing!! The scars on my face are barely detectable and will only get better with time (I'm currently 4 weeks out). I made 2 requests: I want to keep my tragus and I don't want pixie ears. Well, Dr B delivered as usual! I have the most amazing chin & neck and people will not notice that I've had a facelift! Mission accomplished! Dr Baroody is amazing. He is calm, attentive, and has amazing bed side manners. When I went to see him initially I was so nervous bc I have auto immune issues and usually that complicates everything. I was nervous how it would play out with my surgery. But he reassured me it shouldn't be an issue and still confirmed with other colleagues of his to verify if they've had patients with my history and if they've ever encountered issues. This made me feel secure in proceeding with him because not only did he understand my concerns, the complexity of my health history but also took the time to verify we wouldn't have issues going forward. I had lost a lot of weight over the last year and very fast so I had a lot of loose skin. We did a abdominoplasty, and a mastopexy. Before the surgery he came in and saw me. We went over everything again, and after the surgery he was right there next to my family. I've seen him consistently since then. I've healed beautifully without any issues. My incision was barely visible after the surgery, I was so impressed. I had a C-section with my son 19 years prior and I was afraid I would have healed the same way but no, Dr Baroody is an artist at what he does. I am 60 years old and it's something that I have wanted since I was 24 years old. It's never too late to take that plunge. I've been to a number of consultations over those 36 years!!! - and did a lot of research on the topic and the local surgeons. Without a doubt, Dr. B had the best reputation amongst them all- even the nurses that I know attested to that! Without a doubt, I knew that I was in good hands! It's never easy to have surgery- no matter how much you're looking forward to the results - and he was with me every step of the way to give me every confidence I needed. His aftercare is epic. We have great communication via phone and email -both with the office and Dr. B personally! I went to Dr. Baroody for a BA/BL. I had my 1st surgery with Dr Baroody July 2024. A breast augmentation and a breast lift. I should have walked out of his office when he waived off (literally waived off) seeing my inspo pictures. I was unhappy by 8-10 week mark after my first procedure. There were size discrepancies, and my breasts were falling into my armpits when I laid down. The pockets were too loose and I had extra skin that was empty because my implants were too small and it's also possible that enough skin was not originally removed during my breast lift. I then suffered from two post op complications NOT Dr. Baroody's fault however we decided to take this opportunity since I would be going under Anesthesia again to correct the loose pockets and pick out larger and more cohesive size implants to fill up the empty space in my chest. Dr. Baroody's revision policy does not favor patients and I had to pay him another fee as well as the Anesthesia and facility fees. After my second surgery, I tried not to worry because the R breast that suffered the postop complication was now five times the size of the left. It had gone through more trauma and I thought the swelling would eventually go down and it would match the other breast however, that did not happen. My R breast became extremely saggy and extremely empty. The implant was sitting very low. I had two completely different shape and size breasts. My L one is very square like in shape. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Baroody during multiple post op visits and let him know that I was taking progress pictures and the right breast was not getting any smaller. He then agreed to do an in office procedure that changed nothing!! The day of the procedure, he walked into the room and did not acknowledge me. Did not say hi or good morning and just started opening drawers. I had to initiate contact with him. The in office procedure was completely unnecessary. My breast looked exactly the same. Looking back it definitely seems like he was just trying to shut me up. I returned a couple of weeks later and explained to him that my breasts are still extremely asymmetrical and my nipples/areolas were different sizes and shapes. He said he didn't see the nipple size difference and they looked "alright". He also asked me if "my breast were asymmetrical prior to my first surgery ?" This was my final straw with him as it really rubbed me the wrong way because at this point I have already been a patient of his for six months and my breasts were never asymmetrical. He should've known this information since he was my only surgeon and should know my medical history. He was trying to gaslight me into thinking that my breasts looking this way or normal or was somehow my fault. After my last visit with Dr. Baroody, I decided to seek out second opinions because at this point, I knew I was going to need another surgery to fix the asymmetry and I no longer trusted him nor trusted his medical advice. I went to two different plastic surgeons, and they both suggested I redo my breast lift completely along with pocket work. One breast had an extremely tight pocket and one has a very big one causing my implant to slide everywhere. Both plastic surgeons pointed out the discrepancies in my nipples/areolas shape and sizes without my having to point it out to them first. When I mentioned it to Dr. Baroody he gaslit me and said that everything looked fine. How could they look fine?! They are completely two different shapes and sizes! Dr. Baroody's demeanor is very robot like and he lacked empathy and the ability to be honest with me about his work. I am now out over $20,000 not including what I now have to pay another surgeon. My mental health is deteriorating. I have no words for the emotional stress, mental stress, and financial stress he has caused me. I've cried so much. Dr. Baroody is an incredible surgeon! I had wanted to have lower blepharoplasty for many years but couldn't bring myself to pay the outrageous prices in New York City and Westport, CT. I had passed his office many times, but I was skeptical about going to a local surgeon for some reason. Boy, was I wrong! I had surgery with him back in 2014, he did my tummy tuck in which I was happy with. I went to him in 2021 for Lipo and a fat transfer, instead of him saying he wasn't able to do it, he did the surgery and I was almost identical to day one. when I said something he gave me back 2,000 in which was to me a smack in the face. He offered to fix it for another 2,000. why would I allow him to fix anything if he didn't do it right the first time .
