Office employees are usually consistent and easy to work with. We had a recent issue with a non medical bill that we should not have been charged with; they charged us anyways - twice. The first time I took my daughter for allergy testing, the doctor immediately told her to "kick her dog out of her bedroom" before even confirming whether she was allergic to dogs. It later turned out that she is not allergic to dogs at all. That comment alone made me uncomfortable enough to request a different doctor. Second time we were sent here again for another testing. The front desk receptionist, Sue, was extremely rude and came across as very discriminatory in the way she treated me. Recently, my daughter needed amoxicillin testing, and Sue told us they were running low on stock and that she would call us when it became available. It has now been over two weeks, and we never received a single call or update. She also never explained that the wait would be long, even after I clearly stated that my daughter urgently needed allergy medication due to constant flare-ups and sinus infections. Today, we stopped by the office and saw that the waiting list was literally written on the back of a flyer, with names scribbled out and completely disorganized. I was shocked. When I asked to speak with the manager, Sue initially said the manager was on lunch break, but once she realized we were willing to wait, she suddenly went to get her. Unfortunately, the manager was not very helpful either. Dr. Vu was kind, caring, and professional, but aside from that, I am highly dissatisfied with this office. Unhygienic Office and Unprofessional Staff -- Avoid at All Costs If you value cleanliness, professionalism, or basic human decency, stay far away from this medical office. The facility was visibly dirty -- floors unswept, dust in patient areas, and exam rooms that looked like they hadn't been appropriately sanitized between visits. In a medical environment, that's unacceptable and borderline dangerous. The staff was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in patient care. I witnessed front desk personnel rolling their eyes at patient questions, ignoring phone calls, and openly complaining about their jobs. Even worse, the owners themselves seemed just as indifferent and combative when concerns were raised--more concerned with defending bad behavior than fixing it. This isn't just a bad experience -- it's a warning sign. A medical office that treats its patients and facility this poorly shouldn't be operating. There are far better, safer options nearby. read more

I called for an appointment with Dr. Bard (who I had seen on previous occasions) based on a recommendation from my PCP. He said I had a polyp on in inside tip of my nose which should be removed. I specified that when I made my appointment. Dr. Bard told me he had no time to do this tiny procedure and directed me to payment which I told him I wold not do. Rudely, he told me "Yes you will". I called my insurance company and told them not to pay. They acknowledged. I found Dr, Bard to be very rude and I will never visit this ENT office again read more

I have been going to the Allergy part of Advanced Specialty Care and have had a great experience. Wait times are always short, there is plenty of staff to help you out and my questions are always answered. There seems to be a good system in place. read more

I booked an appointment 3 months earlier to see Dr. Bloch on 2/22/2024. We went over the information including my contact info before we ended the call. 3 months down the line on 2/22/24 I drove down from NJ to Danbury and the receptionist told me Dr Bloch isn't available today and they tried contacting and left messages for me twice, apparently the wrong phone # was assigned to me. Meanwhile I have severe pain in my ears and no doctor to see me. Going on a trip on Sunday prior to working out of state. This is very inconsiderate of this office. read more

Went here for allergy treatment and throughly disappointed in the office operations. Set up a direct-pay payment plan and kept getting bills for full amount anyway. Was told every time I went in for a visit that I had a balance and couldn't make another appointment until I paid the balance, despite the fact that I was on a payment plan and making the payments on-time every month. My other allergist was able to get my insurance to pay out 100% for my immunotherapy but Advanced Specialty Care charged me thousands of dollars. read more

This review is for the ALLERGY & ASTHMA part of the practice only. I have been a patient in the cosmetic & ENT part of the practice and have nothing but good things to say BUT.... My son was referred to Advanced Allergy & Asthma by his pediatrician. You can't EVER get a live person on the phone. When they call you back and leave a voicemail, they are rude! The staff who sit at check in and check out are always rude (they don't even look up at you when you're checking in or out, no smile, you can't hear them, and they just chatter amongst themselves) and Jenny in clinical ALWAYS has the nastiest, most awful, lazy & unhelpful 'I hate my job and my life' attitude (which I have had the pleasure of dealing with on a few occasions). Today, it was so bad, I placed a call to my son's pediatrician to refer me to another practice and I plan on calling and speaking to Jenny's supervisor when they re-open tomorrow. I would stay and deal if it was only the front-end staff, but Jenny, no thank you. I have been happy with Dr. Godhwani, but unfortunately, I have had to deal with her staff more than I have her. The practice administrators should think about cleaning house or come up with a way to boost morale. read more

I have left over 100 reviews on Google and most of them 5 stars. The receptionists here at the Allergy department are rude, impatient, and do not appear to know what they are doing. My 21 year old daughter is a patient at this practice and they regularly treat her extremely poorly. Thankfully she goes to another practice during the school year while away at college. I would recommend this practice to NOBODY. I have never in my life encountered a doctor's office where not a single front desk person is capable of performing their job responsibly. I love the Dermatology department and Advanced Ear, Nose, and Throat Care. This section of the team leaves much to be desired. read more

They provided services over 2 separate appointments when our insurance company would only pay for testing in 1 visit. We complained and they lowered the fee and settled the bill then. A year and half later we get a random bill for additional money owed with no explanation why. I called and spoke with someone from billing who said they had to address my issue with a superivor who would call me back, but never did. A few weeks later I just got another random bill. This is no way to run a business. We won't be returning. read more

I am still in awe of the passionate care given to my 88 year old mother by Dr. Kalrsfeld (ASC ENT)! After the rapid growth of a tumor, Dr. Klarsfeld delicately and expediently got her in for surgery and coordinated the additional procedure she needed with the ASC plastic surgeon, Dr. Soni, right across the hall (who actually came over instead of having us go over there). I continue to be WOW-ed by the level of treatment she has and continues to receive with these incredible men and their staffs. Even their waiting rooms are comfortable and inviting although we have never had to wait for more than a few minutes. Their practice is truly the best physician's office I have ever been in. If you have any need for an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist, and want skilled, affable, focused attention, then you absolutely have to give Advanced Specialty Care ENT a call. read more

Dr. Batti is the kindest, most caring and compassionate doctor I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. Our 8 month old daughter was in terrible pain from ear infections and 4 courses of antibiotics hadn't worked. On 6/21, we saw Dr. Batti and he knew we were scheduled to fly on 6/29. Dr. Batti opened his schedule especially for our daughter to have tubes put in at Danbury hospital the following Wednesday, 6/26. We are so grateful for Dr. Batti and his dedication, his staff, the doctors and nurses at Danbury hospital and MOST grateful for our little girl being pain free! read more

It's a shame the billing department really lets this place down. Doctors are fantastic but there administration is terrible! It takes months for them to process your insurance; eventually resulting in a random statement several months later for countless line items that you have no clue if you've paid already or not. read more

The front desk staff is great, very friendly and Dr Monroe is great also. It is when I was checking out when I was not happy with this office. Their "policy" is to charge you for an "estimated deductible" before you leave - so even if you have NO deductible due as I did (I'm allowed 1 full ear exam every 2 years) they charged me $270 which is disgusting. BE PREPARED to pay more than your regular specialty co pay if you go to this place!! And the lady at the check out desk was not at all like the girls at the check in desk - she was very cold and seemed to enjoy over charging people with no valid explanation! I've been to several specialty offices before and NO OTHER OFFICE charges you for an estimated deductible...that is BS! read more

He performed septoplasty surgery on my husband and we found Dr. Bard very personable and very informative as far as explaining exactly what to expect after surgery. Can't stand this place. When I broke out in hives, the allergist here said it wasn't hives, he said it was just bed bugs. I think I'd know if it was bed bugs. I then went to a dermatologist who said I did have hives, so basically that allergy doctor is just lazy. Telling me I have bed bugs? Hell no. Also, one nurse was super rude. It's a freaking pain staying for 30 minutes after every allergy shot. The people here will chase you down if you try leaving 5 minutes early. Like, I'm an adult, I'll do what I want. read more

Very frustrating when you have an appointment and they make you sit in waiting room for over 45 minutes before taking you in and taking at least 5 other patients that clearly came in after you. Had first appointment after their lunch break and still sitting in lobby 45 minutes later waiting to be called, but if you're late they charge you. No respect for patients time. Just met Dr. Drobbin the other day for the first time. It was a pleasure to meet him, and PA Steinfeld. The care was top-notch, and the doc has a good sense of humor. They took care of my issue, plus more that I wasn't aware of. Everyone, from the person who made my appointment, to the front desk personnel, were professional and pleasant. In on time, attended to right away by nurses and assistants prior to doctor coming in. This is my first time stopping in across the hall to the ENT side. Have been a patient of Dr. Islam for over twelve years, have had numerous surgeries, as he is a hand specialist among other specialties, and did great repair work on my injured hand, as well as other procedures, most of them done at Ridgefield Surgical Center, where they are fabulous as well. Also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Soni, who did repair work on my tear duct. Both Dr. Islam, and Dr. Soni, have a great sense of humor as well, which kind of breaks the tension of a Dr. visit. My review of Drs.Islam,and Soni, are long over due( my apologies to both ), but as with most people, quick to complain, slow to compliment. Staff on Dr. Islam's side are terrific as well. Would not go anywhere else. So, a big thank you to all, and keep up the good work ! read more

The billing department in this office is HORRIBLE, very DISRESPECTFUL, using a loud voice tone, not listening to customers request. I have concluded they are very hungry for money. They, the boss in the billing department just said very loudly that, we can not have any appointments in that office, (SHE IS NEGATING medical services) even though we were there 3 times, and there were lot of expensive tests. I am to say, that we, and our insurance paid for everything they did, but I am not to pay for mistakes they made. The issue could be result in a very simple way, but not the impolite and rude manners they use. Go to another office. read more

I went to the ear nose and throat part of this practice last Wednesday. My dr that I usually see was away, so I saw Dr Monroe. After checking me over, he said I needed a test to see if I had fluid in my ear... Now I have had sinus infections before, usually they can tell what is going on by just an office exam. The "test" turned into a full blown hearing test. My right ear was blocked, I couldn't hear. When I finished that test, I was told I had a hearing loss in my right ear... ( no kidding) and I needed hearing aids. I went in for a sinus infection... I said well if that day comes I will let you know... then he tried to "scope" my nose... that's when I said enough is enough and I went to my primary physician who checked me over, said I had a sinus infection and gave me my meds... What I found a little weird was that every patient that was in the waiting room with me, suddenly was also in the waiting room for a hearing test. I just found that a little strange, to me it seems they are trying to sell hearing aids. I'm not sure I will go back. I love Dr Klarsfeld, but now I am thinking this practice is trying to scam people or scam the insurance companies. read more

despite the horrible reviews, i gave them a shot since i had a very minor issue and they were close by and had an opening. i had a slight buzzing sound in my ear. i went in, everyone was very nice, the dr.doctor i saw was good, looked in, said it was a simple piece of wax siting on my ear drum and removed it. they then had me wait for a hearing test, i felt it to be a bit ridiculous but asked if it was covered by insurance and they said yes. so i figured i was there so why not. all of a sudden i get a bill for over $400. i just called the billing department to see if they can write it off since it was not covered and i did not need and they told me no. they said the dr wrote in his notes that i came in with "hearing loss". what a crock .... i never once said anything of the sorts. all the reviews about them doing unnecessary procedures i now believe 100%. absolutely ridiculous...don't let how nice they are on the phone fool you, no matter how good your insurance is you will get screwed. read more

I had gone to ASC for an issue with my ears. They told me my right ear needed the wax removed, but overall they felt the issue was more neck related. When the nurse performed the wax removal, I expressed to her that it was painful and felt like something had popped. She brushed it off and when the doctor looked at it, he said there was just a little water left over and it would be fine. The next day, I woke up with blood on my pillow and dry blood that had come out of my ear. I called to tell them about and they didn't seem concerned, and told me to call back if it was bleeding again. After three days of my ear still bleeding I called again and again was told it was no big deal. The next day, what looked like a blood clot came out of my ear. I went to Urgent Care, and they told me who ever did the wax removal scrapped the inside of my ear about 9 times and that what had been bleeding. I will not go back to this location based on this experience. I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but I felt in this case it was important it didn't happen to anyone else. read more
