It hurts the heart to see comments on this company who goes all out for the customer, does superior work while the comments seem so out of character to what I experienced personally. Once married to a building contractor, I know those dealing with concrete is one of the most stressful for both the customer and owner. I also asked about the 1 star rating when getting my estimate done and the bad memory of the supplier who failed to deliver a working product is still there even though it has been 8 years. due to the horrible mal function of the product, no longer used, I can imagine how upset the customer was. The employees at OCR are not skilled psychologists, but very serious minded concerning their craft, nor do they have a department to handle malfunctions as well as they have no over head bringing much savings in cost to the customer. Even though OCR did make it right, ate the cost, because of the horror of the situation with only owner/employees to handle the anger, I can understand how conflicts could happen. Personally, if I write a comment in anger, it may be exaggerated as I suspect the comment with the one star is.

Wholeheartedly and without reservation my husband and I highly recommend Anthony Carlisle and his…read moreGBZ Construction crew. Over the course of 3 years they periodically worked on large projects for our home. Anthony and his crew became like trusted family members; they earned our trust by their conduct, work ethic and direct communication. Anthony's first priority is to provide the best "product" possible to his customers. We have been very happy with all the projects he has done: * Built a 120 ft beautiful block retaining wall with a metal railing that will probably last longer than our house * Tore out our lower deck and built a larger trek deck in its place, installed a metal railing, rebuilt the stair on the other side of the deck and reinstalled our hot tub! * Built a 20' x 18' attached, permitted shop * Turned an ugly storage room into a beautiful office * Built railroad tie stairway with a landing on both sides of our house and placed 10 huge rocks just where I wanted them. Put down landscape fabric and mulch. I appreciate that Anthony critically thinks through the projects, researches new products or construction solutions, and talks to vendors to obtain detailed information. He communicates well with city and county people and clients. Anthony and his crew are creative, and at times, artistic in their work. We loved our home before we found Anthony. They were, and are fabulous, so of course I called them again. The owner called me within 3 minutes of sending a request for help! Meanwhile, the owner assessed the problem, checked all the other down spouts around the house, and talked my son through taking the drain pipe down, a neat trick to assess bolt sizes, and how to counter the problem for the future. All the while offering calming comments and assorted helpful hints. Really, Duane, the owner, all employees and sub-contractors have been professional, congenial, diligent workers, and produce the results we have asked for. Great consistency. I whole-heartedly give 3 R's the highest recommendation possible.
