He finished a week early and the quality was solid. We then hired him to replace the roofs on all of the buildings. Because of his great prices, quality of work, and willingness to be flexible when needed, we are looking forward to working with Pro Edge regularly for our future installs and updates.

The bid that was provided by them had a lot of "tbd" on the bid....what? The bathroom is about 12x12 and they quoted us over $6k to paint. $7400 for linoleum flooring. $600 for a porta potty, we have two other functional bathrooms! The guy (Jason) who came out insulted my intelligence when I told him my budget and he said nobody who's good would do it for that cost. Well let me tell you that 5 other reputable, insured, bonded, etc contractors came out and said that they could. Do yourself a favor...if you're getting a bid from them be sure to get bids from other companies as well.

The second time he installed three prehung doors (in rooms with less than perfectly squared walls and floors -- not an easy task). My husband and I are very happy with both completed projects. He told us he's going to make it right and even sent people out to assess the damage and determine what it would take to remove the staining from the ceiling. This dragged on forever; in the meantime, additional rainstorms showed that they had not properly flashed around the skylights. They did fix those issues, including replacing one of the skylights at no cost. But the ceiling issue was never resolved. It dragged on for years, and we tried to be understanding and patient. We heard claims that the insurance company would be involved to help rectify. Nothing came of it, and our texts were soon ignored. The ceilings are still water-stained.

He began by…read moreemailing me back strictly "send building plans for estimate" as the subject of an email with nothing else. Then he calls me and proceeds to tell me that "contractors don't like to work with owners as generals" to that I replied with "well, we have been trying to find a general, but it was too far above our budget to include that as well". Then he proceeded to ask questions, which is fair, but in a condescending tone and with zero respect. Once I sent him our approved plans, he sent a list of aggressive questions without any context or having bothered to look at our plans. I was ready to give our business to this company, but could not believe how he was interacting with me. I'm sure he expected a man to answer the phone and when it was a woman, he felt that he could speak to me however he pleased. I hope he learns from this experience and treats potential customers with more respect next time.

Hugo and his team from Affordable Construction LLC have just completed extensive work on our house,…read moreincluding repairing the siding and fascia, replacing some trim, painting the exterior in three colors, and rebuilding our front steps. Hugo was very knowledgeable about a wide variety of construction, repair, and maintenance issues. He was easy to talk to and patient with our questions and suggestions, and he carefully explained the reasoning behind his recommendations. He provided a detailed written estimate at a reasonable price, and there were no surprises later. Hugo kept us well informed about when the crew would be here, supervised his team closely, and did many of the more difficult tasks himself. The entire team was friendly, took pride in their work, and put in extra time and effort to make sure every task was done properly. They also cleaned up the work area at the end of every workday. We were very pleased with their work from start to finish and would highly recommend Affordable Construction LLC to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality construction and repair work.

It was a very difficult job to handle, and they were AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. Our house has extremely high outside walls, and the siding was getting so weathered that holes were forming, along with some other issues. We were so happy with them that we again hired them in 2024 - this time to paint our entire house and update/fix areas as necessary. Again, they exceeded our expectations. There really doesn't seem to be anything they can't handle when it comes to construction and home improvement. It is so hard to find reliable help in these areas, but we will never need to search elsewhere, because we will always use Affordable Construction from here on out. Just ask for Hugo. This company is amazing.

Being new to the area, I did not know of any company in particular so reached out to different companies through an internet search. The owner of GRX Roofing, Gustavo, was one of the few that responded quickly. His quote was also very reasonable for not only the staining job but also for my gutters being cleaned and leaf guards being installed. From the beginning, he was very communicative every step of the way and always showed up on time as scheduled over the course of the 3 days for the 2 projects. I am very pleased with the outcome of his work and appreciative for his spotless cleanup. He also, as he worked, went above and beyond by doing some minor courtesy repairs such as re-caulking a window, as preventatives. I am now looking at having him build a deck for me in the near future. So, if you are looking for a conscientious and skilled professional contractor, who offers quality work at fair prices, I would highly recommend him. Carolyn S.
