I had not seen the incredibly low reviews of this handyman service. I called them after a duck game on Saturday and made an appointment for Monday. Two fellas show up at the exact hour they say they're going to, and get to work. There was a minor parking issue with a neighbor, but that was diplomatically resolved by the fellas from Willamette Valley handyman service. I hired them to do the gutters and clean the roofs of our house and 3 out buildings. When you see a guy on his hands and knees with a wire brush getting that one bit of moss... you know you found a fella who takes pride in his work. Price was extremely reasonable - right in the middle between the most and the least we have spent for the same job done. Others may have had a different experience but for us Charles Adams and his partner hit a Rare Home run on my satisfaction meter. Really hard to do on a Monday. These guys deserve more than one star! read more

I should have read the reviews. If I could leave zero stars, that's what I 'd do considering they were a no call no show. I'm not sure how businesses are still active when they don't show up to appointments. Skip this one and get your day back. read more

WORST experience!!!! To sum things up...We paid $250. to have a $150. high pressure hose STOLEN, every gutter clogged/packed with moss (that were not prior), ignored calls/ emails and then finally...denied it all! This after canceling the 1st appt 5 min prior to scheduled time. THANKFULLY we have proof on cameras and pics to further deal with the issues! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM! read more

We called and set up an appointment for this group to clean our roof. They did not show and they did not call to explain why. I don't understand why they set up the appointment. Very disappointed. read more

I hired these guys to clean my yard and roof and they went above and beyond making everything look good, they trimmed the trees and hauled the waste away. They cleaned more than the roof and gutters, they literally were scrubbing the outside of my gutters clean. They are very polite and professional. read more

Called and left a message about installing a kitchen faucet. My call was returned later that morning. An appointment was scheduled at 8:30 the following morning. On the morning of the appointment no one showed or called and at 9:10 I called and left a message. My call was returned at 9:30 and I was told they were on their way. They did not not indicate how long our request would take once they arrived. We had an appointment at 10:30 which they were aware of and were not able to wait. A new appointment was scheduled 2 days later from 1-3 in the afternoon. No one showed and we received no phone call explaining. I would definitely not recommend this company! read more

Horrible experience. The company may be insured and bonded but the workers sent were not and it appears as if the company license has expired. They list a A+++ rating with Better Business Bureau but when you check the BBB website, they have no rating. Prices inflated for materials purchased and hours worked. After trying to charge for 3 workers at 6 hours each when I knew they had been a property for less than an hour, I refused to pay any additional money and had to find a new contractor to complete the work. They asked for checks every time supplies needed to be purchased and requested payment for work twice prior to job being completed. Nearly 2 weeks of back and forth for a job that should have taken 3 - 4 days. Very shady operation. Do not use this company! read more

We had an excellent experience with Charles and his worker, Mark. They showed up early and worked all day long. They took a short lunch and were right back at it. They were here for three days cleaning, clearing, helping move furniture. It was awesome. Anything we asked, they did. They cleaned all the moss off the roof, and really scrubbed it cleaned; the yard looks beautiful because they did a better job than our gardeners; and they put new windows and a door in our garage. They did excellent work. I would highly recommend them. My cousin found them on the internet, so it was a stab in the dark as to who would show up. We were impressed and will use them again. read more

I called to arrange for some work to be done. The phone rang someone answered with "NO", i said hello, is this the handyman service, he said "yes it is, how can I help you?" I said jokingly "Well I don't know if you can because you already said "NO". I'm chuckling while i say that mind you. He says is a very short tone, "what can I help you with?" I say, " I'm sorry, I just thought that was a heck of a way to answer a business phone," and click he hung up on me. WOW! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I asked them to put "Moss Out" on my roof ....a very simple thing. Not only did they did not do that, they spent all day scraping moss off the roof. What should have been a $100 max bill was $475. My daughter was to give them a check but made a mistake and so paid them in cash. Called and explained job - just needing caulking around a door frame. We had to have a contractor do this according to a purchase contract. He said no problem, and made the appointment for 9am Monday morning. At 8:58am Monday morning, he called back, asked more questions about the job and I explained it again. He then said it was too small and wouldn't do it, then hung up. According to his website (http://willamettehandymanservice.com) , "No job is too big or too small." I have not had a good experience in dealing with this business. I have had to call them 4 times to confirm, then reconfirm they were coming to do a job, each time they acted like they did not remember our conversation. Today when I called and asked them when they were be at my house (after they were supposed to call me at 8 for a 9 job time start), they finally told me they were too busy right now. I told them that would have been good for them to tell me that 3 weeks ago when we started talking and scheduling the repair. I am taking my business elsewhere and I hope you have a much better experience than I have. read more
