If there was any point at which we had any concern at all, he was completely receptive, and able to pivot if needed (like when we said we didn't want gravel) or educate us about certain construction solutions (when we asked about the floor construction innovation required for our unique barn dimensions and situation.) He made so many improvements and also allowed for additional renovations should we choose to add something in the future. This post needs more photos, but suffice it to say the before and after are truly incredible. Robert was kind, trustworthy and professional, and the whole team excels under his leadership.

I was very pleased with the window job he did so I got a quote on the siding for my house. His prices were very reasonable and I really liked how he did my windows the right way so I hired him for that job too. My siding came out beautiful. Nothing about my house is standard and he was able to take flaws and make them less noticeable. He even had some suggestions for some unique ideas that gave a bit of artistic flair to my home that made the outcome even more beautiful. I am very pleased with his work and would hire him again to work on my home any day.

Mom had a handyman take care of some things over the years yet he was unable to help us because of scheduling conflicts. I checked Yelp for a handyman and Jim was the only one to reply to my request for a quote. There were only a few things which I knew must be done and advised we would probably stumble upon more as he worked. Yes, that did become the case. Over a period of three days, Jim readjusted the inner workings of two toilets, recaulked the toilet bases, recaulked a shower faucet and around a bathroom sink, replaced a wheel on a sliding side fence, treated the shingles for moss build up, replaced the gaskets and flashing on several vent pipes on the roof, replaced and repainted a piece of wood on the siding of the house, power washed the outside of the house, and removed a part of a fence inside the garden area which was damaged during one of the big storms. We are very pleased with his work and highly recommend Jim!!

I needed big help with my Eugene home I had just purchased…read more There was no place to put my dishwasher without restructuring the kitchen. The bathroom had the most awful, early 80's, peach colored shower enclosure, I could not live with - and the counter was much too short. The backyard had a large lawn and a small deck - it was crying out for a more useful space for entertaining. My street generates a lot of traffic noise and I needed something to help reduce it. I also wanted an attractive trash/recycling bin deck, close to the street, for convenience. I looked for reviews and Emerald Valley Home Repair popped up. I like licenses and BBB ratings - Ted has them. He was professional in his walk through and intelligent, creative and confident with his advice and ideas - that he quickly put me to ease with his clear rapport I chose Ted Colee. My new larger kitchen space includes my necessary dishwasher and a couple new cabinets and sparkles with quartz counter tops throughout. He also replaced the lighting. The bathroom shower panels were removed and replaced with new bright white tiles. The deck steps down to a circular stone patio that allows for more entertaining and several large potted plants. I worked with Ted on ideas for the front driveway and we came up with a spectacular walled in - shingled and planter deck. It looks fantastic and provides more privacy in my front yard and most importantly, has reduced the road noise. The shingled trash/recycling/green-waste bin deck has a drop down ramp gate: So convenient! This was a series of jobs that effectively have turned this house into my home. Knowledge, skill, dependability, trust and respect are all vital in building that working relationship and creativity and flexibility complete the package. Bonuses are his abundant experience - Ted even knows plants. I have worked with Ted since and highly recommend him!!
