Wilkinsons is a great big store that sells everything, from gardening stuff, stationary paint wallpaper, cleaning things and all sorts of things for the home. The access for disabled and pushchairs is great, with wide aisles. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. And this store isn't expensive. read more

Wilkinsons is one of the best places places for bargain hunting and sell a huge range of items from razor blades to curtain poles, many of which are cheaper than other shops. They also have a lot of very cheap DIY items. When we were re-decorating our house, Wilkinsons wasn't the first store that came to mind when buying paint, light switches etc but in my experience, even though they haven't got such a large range of products they are usually cheaper than all of the big DIY stores. The staff are very polite and helpful and I have never had to wait long to pay. read more

Very large store, with a huge range of produce. (If you know you're going to be buying alot, then eithe rpbring people with you to carry bags, or bring the car a little nearerits a fair walk to the central car parks in hanley!) The store is over 2 levels, and well sectioned out into the various areas. The checkout area however can become a little congested as there is very little space between the tills and the start of the shopping aisles, so be prepared to stand your ground. Whether you need curtains, hair dye or a BBQ, then head to wilkos' before anywhere elseyou'll not only be saving money cos its cheap, but you'll be saving shoe leather cos its all in one place! read more

Is cheap as chips and sell good qualitiy stuff i brought a toy hoover for my daughter for xmas and it cost 4 pound everywhere else it was a tenner. There is disabled access and the store has quite wide aisles . The ques are a problem as more staff are stocking shelves then on till . At one point there us to sell loads of clothes but not no more which is a shame. read more

Good Points: Smart, clean, well stocked and all items on sale are very reasonably priced. Bad Points: As with all stores, checking out can take much longer than one would wish. General comments: Wilkinson - I feel that the first comment here was written many years ago and is no longer relevant to the present standard found at all the Wilkinson store in my local area (Wiltshire). Wilkinson's in Hanley is a big store set over two floors. It is a little walk from the main shopping centre which can be a bit of a pain, especially if you have a lot of bags to carry. There are however great bargains to be had and you can definitely save money by shopping here. They sell everything from toiletries to DIY materials to pet food. They also have a great range of homeware at brilliant prices and a lot of it is very modern and stylish. They sell some nice bedding although the quality is not great but for the price this is really to be expected. At the moment they have loads of toys, gifts and chocolate ready for Christmas at really good prices. Thoroughly recommended for finding a bargain. read more

This Wilkisons is a huge store and has the majority of things you would need for your home! It can get very busy as it's by the first bus stop into town and with the aisles being quite tight it can get a bit stuffy. Other than that there's a great range of products, the prices are great and the staff are always friendly. read more
