Primark is one of the anchor tenants of "The Potterie Shopping Center" having a huge store, just on the outside part of the store, with connections through escalators into the shopping center. One thing I want to start with, is my shock and reaction in anger and disbelief at how inaccessible the store is for wheelchair users, This is one of The Potteries' flagship stores, and for a wheelchair to have to go all the way around onto the street level and a good 3-4 minute walk is unacceptable for any store, let alone an anchor tenant. I finally got in this store through street level on Lamb Street, this is the main entrance anyway. The entrance through the shopping center is a mess really, it is just a reasonably large empty space with just an escalator, I'm sure they'd make a lot more money and stores do better if they had a lift here, but still some sort of lift or escalator to get into Primark, or just get rid of this entrance completely and make the entrance the one that is through Lamb Street. Primark does have lifts inside with 3 floors, however due to the jumble sale nature, which all near enough looks the same, apart from one floor being mens, womens and children's, it is easy to get in and out of the lifts on the right floor, and walk for a few seconds, until you realize, like I did. The store is filled with cheap clothes, but still is set out like a jumble sale, although seems a little nicer than your Sports Direct style store, although this store still isn't great because of this. For the price and the look, most of the items don't seem to be great quality, but Primark doesn't really seem to be the price for that. I have never visited a Primark in my life, and normally avoid clothes shops and try to limit it when I can, but I still was impressed by some of the deals in this store, my friend picked up a pair of shoes and 5 pairs of socks for £19, which wasn't bad with good deals on socks at 5 pairs for £5, but still due to the situation with entering and leaving the store, being a little discriminatory and made a lot harder, as well as the jumble style nature, I feel this store deserves no more than a two. read more

Cheap clothes abound, watch out for dodgy stitching on some items though, I've had a couple. This store gets packed at the weekend so expect queues at the tills. Also it can end up looking like a jumble sale by the end of the day because of customers dumping clothes where they weren't supposed to be. Get in their early, it's easier that way. read more

excellent shop for all your essentials, and also for a copy of the latest fashions. Primark seem to take literally hours from catwalk until a copy can be bought for a very reasonable price they are also a good place for gifts and the clothes are a very good quality, especially considering the quality. the shoes and underwear sections are particularly good because they seem to be much more organised than the the clothing section (no great surprise when seeing how busy the rails get with people rifling through to try and find that bargain item) Perhaps not the shop to buy your 3 season coat etc, but for a quick change its an excellent option. Always worth popping in a few times a month because there is an ever revolving sale rack. The mens section has been making the news recently for the quality of the suits that they have been making. read more

Primark is a great shop, its great to buy gifts foreveryone for christmas. The clothes are good quality, as well as the shoes and underwear. The childrens section is great, nobody can say they can't afford clothes for there kids. read more

Primark is one of the best places around to buy cheap and cheerful clothes. They have a large range of clothes and they tend to keep up quite well with the latest fashions. The main draw of Primark is the prices. You can buy things like t-shirts for as little as £4! The quality isn't amazing but for that price you can't expect it to be! Another think I like is that most things seem to be rounded to the nearest pound so it's easy to keep track of how much you are spending and you're not left with a pocket full of change when you've paid for things. The layout of the store is good but on busy days it can be a bit of a struggle to fight your way through the crowds. They could also do with a few extra checkout staff as the queues are sometimes quite long. read more

Primark is wicked although it can get busy and the ques can get massive they do clothes for everyone at great value i picked two tops , 3 pairs of trousers , a cardy a pair of babies shoes and socks all for 12 pound . Primark are now even using the brown paper bags that are great for recycling . The stuff that are on the rails are all fashionable and good qualility and would do anyone . The only thing im not much for is that they dont do any privelage stuff or offers as this would work wonders for this store read more

This place is my second home! My boyfriend actually likes it when I go shopping now as visiting Primark means his wallet doesn't take a battering! The place is so cheap. Ok I know that Primark isn't reputed to use the most ethical ways of producing it's clothes and the quality isn't fantastic so you have to toy with this before shopping there. However, put this aside and it's the best thing to have happened to my wardrobe. I can buy loads of new outfits every month for just a few quid and I don't feel guilty if I only where something a few times before I'm sick of it. Having just had a baby I've also discover their baby section too a god send! For major fashion at minor prices you have to pay this place a visit. A brilliant shop if you're after a bargain. The Hanley store is a massive store set over 3 levels there are tons and tons of things to choose from. The Hanley shop is probably one of the biggest Primark stores around so they always have plenty to choose from. Sometimes the quality of clothes sold by Primark isn't brilliant and you have to pick and choose what you are buying. However, for the prices they charge you can't really complain - you can kit yourself out in a whole new outfit for less than £40! Primark also sell a good choice of homeware and the childrens wear is brilliant value for money especially when you think about how quickly children grow. Primark also do some lovely, good quality Christmas decorations at brilliant prices. Highly recommended for bargains in the time of the credit crunch! read more

This Primark is one of the best Primarks I've ever been in! Compared to the others I've visited it's clean and well organised! It's nice and spacious and bright and it's got a good range of clothing and homeware. read more
