The shop sells clothes for both men and women with most of the pieces being a one off.... so if you like something well enough to pay the rather inflated price, the likely hood is that you will be the only person in Manchester wearing it! The shop is fairly small, but the wide range of stock is neatly placed on east access rails. The only downside is the staff sometimes seem to have been a little distracted when I popped in, I don't know if this is because I am not head-to-toe in designer gear, but I get the feeling it is!

The Clothes box stocks sizes from birth to 10 years old and caters for boys and girls alike. Baby Timberland jackets are oh so cute and the shop also sells a variety of cuddly toys, books for babies and toddlers and bootees.The lady shop assistant is helpful and informed me that there are regular sales on when the seasons change so I will have to return to get first dibs on the Autumn/Winter collection. The shop is open from 9.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

The place has a real artificial feel. The numerous shops sell mainly cards, crafts and antiques but the merchandise is all very samey and a bit tacky. There are a few activities for kids such as pottery painting and a falconry and the Village café serves a decent enough cake. It's the first time I've been shopping and have only spent £3 on a coffee. I won't be rushing back.

It is a fantastic place for teenagers and young people as well as having some sophisticated pieces for older people. The staff are reasonably friendly and will approach you to ask if you need any help (sometimes a little too mithering).
