We rented a ski boat and most recently a pontoon boat with a slide and we have had Great service from Joe, everything has been in working condition with the exception of a radio one time which was no big deal. We also rent 2 jet skis every year. There has been wear and tear on a couple but I alway send Joe a picture of the damage when we first get them. Are they brand spanking new in stellar condition NO thats because renters don't take care of the equipment, Joe does a great job of working with us and I have appreciated the relationship we have every year. I have found Joe to be very accommodating and helpful. Thank you Joe for the great service!!

He gave clear instructions on how to operate the boat and gave tips on where to explore on the Columbia River. We had a full day rental, but ended up calling it a little short. We gave Joe a heads up and he met us early on the dock. All in all it was a well run operation that gave us a wonderful day on the water. It is important to call out that the boat was a little worn. There were a couple of holes in the seats and the stereo was a little challenging to get working. Joe and team would do better to have updated pictures on their site so everyone would have clear expectations as to the condition of the boat. That being said, the boat operated perfectly, the motor started with a quick turn of the key, and the bimini was is good operating condition.

My work office is driving a city bus with a million dollar view of the Cascades, Mt Rainier, the Olympics and Space Needle. Dale flies his awesome office with equally, ok sometimes better, more spectacular views. And much less traffic! Takeoffs and landings were so smooth, Dale knows the history and people in the area and always made sure we were comfortable during the flight. We were less than a minute away from our RV at Kamei Campground and took off toward toward north Lake Chelan, the mountain vistas and smaller inland lakes and trails. We landed at the Stehekin State Airport then visited Stehekin Pastry Company, Rainbow Falls and the original Stehekin School. We took off then flew over to Stehekin Valley Ranch for dinner, met some of the nice staff and guests there, then we took off for the final flight back to Manson, admiring the sights and enjoying the personal and actual history of the area from Dale. Everything was memorable - the flight, sights and stories, the people we met, the food and the unique experience of flying, taking off and landing 3 times in a helicopter. There is a 3-passenger and 500-lb max for the flight. You're given headphones to muffle the engine noise and provide communications during the flight. No reports of motion sickness from the family, ventilation was good and even a light rain was fascinating as it beaded off the bubble canopy on the return flight. Bring a camera that can take photos and videos but remember to put it down every now and then to truly admire the smoothness of the flight and in-your-face natural beauty of the area. You'll also appreciate the history that Dale tells you with pride about growing up to work, raise a family and enjoy his home space on land and in the air. A mile of road takes you a mile, a helipad can take you anywhere and generate so many smiles! We highly recommend Lake Chelan Helicopters for a truly memorable experience from Chelan to Stehekin.

We booked a Viking cruise on the Alsvin with Norma Jean from Journey Travel & Tours, based on the…read morerecommendation of friends. The trip was booked in 2024 and taken in November 2025. Our experience with her and the agency has been extremely disappointing. Norma Jean's primary concern appears to be securing commissions; she received commissions not only for our booking but also for our friends'. To begin, she provided us with an incorrect itinerary, and it seems unlikely she even recognized it was not ours. Furthermore, we inquired multiple times about the weather and appropriate clothing for the cruise, and she suggested a light windbreaker would be adequate. Given that we traveled during the winter months to Germany and Prague, where the average daily temperature, even when it wasn't snowing, was below 30 degrees, a light windbreaker was wholly inadequate. We also inquired about the Christmas markets, as we were eager to visit them. She repeatedly confirmed that the Christmas markets in both Germany and Prague would be open during our trip, which was entirely false. Considering her claims of extensive international travel and having taken the same cruise the previous year, one would expect her to be knowledgeable about the status of the Christmas markets. However, they were closed. This was on top of all the other issues we encountered. To begin, our flight from Boise to Salt Lake City was canceled. I contacted her to determine the best course of action, as the cancellation occurred just two days before our departure. Instead of offering assistance, she "passed the buck," which has become a recurring pattern, and instructed me to contact Viking to make alternative arrangements. However, as our travel agent, shouldn't she be responsible for such matters, especially since she was compensated for our booking? Subsequently, our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Paris was canceled due to mechanical problems. We were rebooked on a different flight, but she provided no assistance and initially refused to provide a letter confirming the cancellation. It took several text messages and emails before she reluctantly provided it. She claimed she was occupied traveling with her husband, who had recently retired, and suggested I handle the situation myself. Throughout our trip, we faced other delays and challenges that demanded the support of a "travel agent," but she consistently refused to help. Upon our return, we submitted an insurance claim to recover the 1.5 days we lost due to the flight disruptions. We requested a simple letter from her outlining the reasons for the delays, but she denied our request. We then reached out to her supervisor and the agency owner, Sandy, who also refused to assist us. The letter was intended as supporting documentation for our travel insurance claim to validate our trip interruption. Instead of offering assistance, Norma Jean and Sandy directed us to file a claim with the airline, even though we booked the entire package, including the flights, through them and Viking. It's illogical to expect the airline to compensate us for lost days when they simply rebooked our flights. When I called to request a simple letter supporting our insurance claim, Norma Jean hung up on me. This has been the worst experience with a travel agency I have ever had. My husband and I travel frequently and have never encountered such appalling service and a negative attitude. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. DON'T USE THIS AGENCY, NORMA JEAN, OR SANDY!!! They are completely unprofessional and have no customer service skills.

Our experience with her and this agency has been horrible. The only thing Norma Jean cares about is receiving a commission. She not only received a commission from our booking, but she also received one from our friend's booking. To start things off, she sent us the wrong itinerary, and I don't even thing she realized that she sent us someone else's itinerary. Second, we asked her several times about the weather and the type of clothing we should take on the cruise, and she told me a light wind breaker would be sufficient. Considering we took the cruise in the middle of winter to Germany and Prague and the average daily temperature when it was not snowing was sub 30 degrees. Really, a light windbreaker? Is she crazy? We also asked her about the Christmas markets as we really wanted to see these during the time we were there. She confirmed several times that the Christmas markets in both Germany & Prague would be open to explore during our trip. This could NOT be further from the truth! From someone who bragged repeatedly about traveling the world and claimed she had taken this exact cruise the year before, you would have thought she would have known if the Christmas markets were open during this time. However, they were not. This was over & above everything else that happened. Initially, our flight from Boise to Salt Lake City was canceled. I called her to ask what we should do as this was two days before we left. She "passed the buck" which seems to be very typical for her, and told me to call Viking to reschedule. But wait, aren't you our travel agent and shouldn't you take care of things like this since you received a commission and all??? Next, our flight in Salt Lake to Paris was canceled due to mechanical issues, and we had to be rebooked on another flight of which she gave no assistance and wouldn't even provide me a letter stating the reason for cancelation until I texted and emailed her two or three times. She said she was busy traveling with her husband as he had recently retired, and I needed to take care of this myself. During the course of our trip we had other delays and situations that required support from someone who calls themself a "travel agent", but she was unwilling to help. When we returned from our trip, we filed an insurance claim to recoup 1 and 1/2 days that we lost due to the flight delays. We requested her to send us simple letter stating what happened to cause us to lose 1.5 days, and she refused to do this. We contacted her boss and he owner of the agency Sandy, and she also refused to help us. We wanted the letter as backup to submit to our travel insurance company to help corroborate our trip interruption claim. Instead of helping us, both Norma Jean and Sandy stated that we needed to file a claim with the airline. We didn't book the airfare through the airline. We booked it through her and Viking as a package deal. Why would the airline compensate us for lost days when they rebooked us on another flight? Then I called her to discuss my simple request of her providing us with a letter and she hung up on me. This has been the worst experience with a travel agency EVER. My husband and I have traveled a lot and never received such poor service and such a bad attitude! If I could give her zero stars I would. DON'T USE THIS AGENCY, NORMA JEAN, OR SANDY!!! They are completely unprofessional and have no customer service skills. Once they receive their commissions, they are done with you! The only thing both of them know how to do is lecture you on how many years they have been doing this and of course, they know everything, which couldn't be further from the truth! They don't even deserve 1 star.
