Our group was split between three rafts and we were with a group of six rafts altogether. The first half was smooth sailing, nothing crazy, got a little wet, stopped along the route to jump off some rocks, all good. Just my luck, later down the river, guess who gets thrown out of the raft,...me, the only one that can't swim. Luckily, the guides had prepared us with what to do and I was safely picked up by another raft in our group and finished the excursion. We also added on the wine/beer and cheese float and enjoyed some relaxing girl bonding time after my crazy river rafting experience. The scenery was so serene and beautiful and overall a great experience. All the guides were knowledgeable about the area, super friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend! There was plenty of opportunity to go for a dip and also for the more brave jump off the rock cliff. Amy was our guide and she was fantastic. We put on our helmets, life vests, had our brief but important safety class and we were off on the river. Our half day tour was a blast. The views magnificent and something out of a wilderness movies. Amy was very knowledgeable of the area and was armed with some cool history and facts of the area. She was filled with positive vibes all day, great energy and was hilarious with her humor. The rapids section of the river were a blast! The class got as high as class 3 but none of them felt overwhelming or unsafe in any way. It was a major rush paddling through there and we had a blast as the chops got more intense. The staff is fantastic and all their rafting equipment is high quality.
