Cold scared lil baby possum at the park early morning
LESLEY H.

Debra was amazing ! Picked up phone and asked me questions and she's VERY knowledgeable and I was able to drop off the baby baby possums right away - she also had a foster on stand by that was willing to pick them up at my house

I found an abandoned baby Opossum and I drove a long way to WetLands & Wildlife Care Center but I felt reluctant leaving the Opossum. I'm sure everyone who works there are wonderful people but seemed to lack major empathy for the animals. Then, I found Debbie and I felt like all of my prayers had been answered! I felt beyond comfortable leaving the Opossum under her care. It became quickly apparent that Debbie truly cares for the wildlife that comes to her. I'm so grateful! I'll never forget this incredible experience. Thank you!

Rosie needed special care to deal with dehydration. Debra Joe is an animal whisperer!

I highly recommend wildlife foster program. All creatures great and small that meet with Debra Joe & volunteers, are in good hands. Debra and her staff have a talented way of getting these angels nurse back to good health. Then they are released into the wild.

I put them in a little box for transport.

Debra Jo was the only person willing to help me or even answer the phone. My dogs scared off an oopossum last night so she abandoned her babies in my yard. I rescued them and Debra Jo took them in. I'm so grateful to her. I called numerous animal sanctuary around me ( Rancho Cucamonga) and they either didn't answer, had a full mailbox or were out of my radius. God bless you Debra Jo!

I found a baby opposum this morning and wasn't sure what to do so I called this wildlife foster program and they said I could bring him into them. I got him inside a box and took him in and was greeted by the sweetest woman named Deborah that clearly has so much love and care for the animals she works with. I'm so grateful to have found her and am so confident that the baby opposum (I named him Reggie) is in good hands.

! (Ps, of course, Debra offered to take the squirrel in if we could not reunite it with his mother, forever grateful.)

I adopted my forever kitty at Cats in Need of Human Care in Fullerton, at a PetSmart…read more I met Mary, the manager, and Kimberly, the foster parent of the kitty I was interested in bringing home. Kimberly was informative, helpful, and friendly with providing information and letting me see her foster. She was patient and let me spend as much time as I wanted with the kitty to get acquainted with her. Mary handled the application and provided an abundance of information regarding the adoption process and bringing kitty home. She went through our information that we filled out in our application and asked us any questions she needed to know in regards to potential adoption, which makes perfect sense in wanting the best for their foster cats! The volunteers truly care about these cats and it shows. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about adopting a cat to consider Cats in Need Fullerton to find their furrever friend! Thank you Cats in Need Fullerton team!

It's a complete waste of your time, and you'll end up leaving frustrated regardless of what your need is. Read through the reviews posted in 2021, and you can see that they all speak for the same experience I had. Try another rescue. I have 2 separate occasions when I contacted them - (1) when I tried to adopt a second cat, and (2) when I found a stray kitten and tried to get it taken to a rescue. Both occasions went to total trash. For situation #1, I was denied because apparently there are too many coyotes and raccoons living in my area (La Mirada). I live in a area right next to an elementary school where kids walk to school everyday. I've yet to see a coyote or a raccoon in this neighborhood, clearly they don't know their geography and don't do any research. For situation #2, they asked for a photo of the cat, and after sending the pictures no reply ever since. I have a feeling they'll only take kittens that look pretty and would sell for money, which defeats the purpose of a rescue to begin with. Don't waste your time here unless you want to leave with a bad taste in your mouth.

They said no problem in just cutting nails and it is: $10 just come between 9-10am we went there the next morning and they were done without issue. My dog wasn't scared or anything. They even tried to show me what to look for if I decide to do it myself. When my dog is old enough, I plan to bring him in for a interview so we can utilize them for their daycare services.

Before we had the pleasure of finding Dachs 2 Danes, we had an assortment of daycares that we tried that were okay. While they were not horrible, it still felt like something was lacking in each of the establishments. Finding D2D and staying a customer for the past 5 years (!) has frankly felt like a very short time with how easy and simple they have made our lives when it comes to placing our pup in trusting hands. Noted in a previous review, our pup is "special". Super-smart dog, but didn't have much socialization (or, possibly, happiness) in her past. D2D has helped provide a safe and controlled environment for her to socialize (or, at the very least, interact) with other pups and humans that aren't us. Pre-COVID, we were able to drop her off sometime after 7am and pick her up before 7pm on any day (I think if you dropped off your pup after 12pm, it was considered a half-day and was a lower rate). During COVID, they're now closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but you can drop off your pup during the weekdays; their website has more info. Also, during COVID, boarding is still available! While daycare has provided infinite value to us, boarding has been nothing short of a relief. I do worry about our pup when she's not at home (frankly, I'm just used to her being around me all the time), but it is incredibly reassuring to know that she's at D2D overnight whenever needed. We do schedule her boarding a few days in advance (if not a few weeks if we're going out-of-state), and we make sure to pack food, meds, dental bones, a blanket, a toy, and a list of items/directions for them (just as a backup, since they do write down a checklist for their own use when they receive her overnight bag). Just a note: if you want to try and board your pup doing holiday weeks (e.g., Thanksgiving and Christmas), make sure to try and reserve ahead of time, as they may get full. Prices have been reasonable for half-day, full-day, and boarding. They also have packages, where we've been consistently purchasing the 30-full-day packages in the past few years. It definitely is an upfront cost (around $650 for the 30-full-day package for one dog), but it's nice to not worry about paying on day of a daycare visit because we took care of it ahead of time. They also have a small discount if you have multiple dogs, I think? D2D also has some salon services! Hubby and I have completely taken advantage of their ability to cut dogs' nails, as I get a little bit of a visceral reaction in trying to cut our pup's nails (I had cut into the quick before, agh!!!). $10 for a nail clip? DONE. TAKE MY MONEY. The owner, Erin, is a wonderful human being who cares about her business, the pets she takes care of (whether cats, dogs, birds, farm animals, etc.), and her customers. She has always been straightforward and honest with us, and always works hard in her business. She does small things that is a big deal to us, such as Christmas postcards, doggie report cards, setting up boxes for donations to the animal shelters and rescues, and providing a quick recap on how our pup did our daycare. She is patient and calm with her hands full, but she makes things look easy at times. She is amazing. THANK YOU, ERIN, for all that you have done for us and our pup!
