The service was really friendly and we enjoyed talking about the town we were visiting. The employees seemed to work together really well and frankly its refreshing to see coworkers get along that well. The menu was good and I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee. The additional grilled cheese menu was good as well, I thought I was the only one that added some of those options to a grilled cheese :) The atmosphere is good - inside its crafty and comfortable. I stopped in here with my boyfriend while on our way to Gettysburg. It was still relatively early in the morning and we both had a hankering for breakfast. After a couple quick Google searches, we decided to stop here. As soon as we entered we were greeted and welcomed. We sat at a nearby table and we were soon after given menus. For drinks I got water and my boyfriend got coffee. He raved about how good the coffee here was. Now, I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so you'll just have to take his word for it. For my meal I ordered the "Build-Your-Own" omelette with sausage, American cheese, and spinach with a side of bacon and wheat toast. I'm typically not a huge omelette eater, but it just sounded yummy. I'm going to note that the omelette is a 3 egg omelette. Upon ordering, I was surprised at how many choices of toast they have: white, wheat, rye, pumpernickel.. just to name what i can remember. While we waited for our food to arrive, my boyfriend and I admired the overall vibe and decor of the restaurant. It's very 1960's - flowers, bright bold colors, nature-esque. Very different and very charming. After about twenty minutes, our food arrived. I was glad I was hungry, because portions here are BIG. Like I said, my omelette consisted of three eggs, and it was stuffed with chopped spinach, big pieces of sausage, and cheese. It was so yummy. It really hit the spot. Overall, i have absolutely no complaints here! The employees were very friendly and welcoming. If I'm ever back in Huntingdon, I'll be sure to stop back in! read more

This place is amazing!!! We were in town for an event and decided to stop by for lunch. The ambiance is so cute and cottage-core. The front has some local and handmade trinkets and products to look at while you wait for your table which goes by quickly because the service is incredible! You can tell the employees are all a big family and enjoy being there. We got the chicken salad sandwich, the fancy grilled cheese, tomato basil soup, and a slice of humming bird cake. Everything was fresh and delicious. We finished everything and still wanted more despite being full! We're definitely coming back tomorrow before we leave! 10/10 all around. read more

Jess and Darren were very kind and gave exceptional customer service. Darren was funny and shared the towns tone with us. He and his wife are very talented! The artwork on the wall that Darren painted was simply beautiful. Jess is so great with her hands, the craftswomanship in their restaurant is amazing. The have a little of this and a little of that.....priceless. The food was delicious. Just right portions and very tasty. All of our plates were empty upon finishing our meals. We enjoyed our Brunch here on 7/26/19. It was fantastic! Friendly staff and the menu had so many great options, we wanted to try almost the entire menu. The bakery goods at the front are yummy and the little shop at the front had some nice jewelry. But the food was amazing. We loved the Pumpkin Bread French Toast with homemade cream cheese icing, strawberry/Nutella French toast, grilled veggie panini sandwich. All were Delicious!! We visited Huntingdon for several weeks in October, and enjoyed weekend brunch and weekday lunches at Wildflower. The wait staff are great. Highly recommend the grilled cheese variants and soups. Local coffee is tasty. Be sure to pick up a scone on the way out. My wife eats Gluten Free, and was pleased GF bread and other baked goods were available. Definitely would eat here again! read more

Really friendly staff who are willing to go all the way to make you feel welcomed. The decor is bohemian and open with cheerful and calming colors. They played jazz and alternative music. They specialized my order and were very happy to accommodate me. Their vegan options are plentiful so you don't feel like you're limited in choices. it took sooo long to be sat and then even longer to get our food. In all it took an hour and a half from the time we walked in the door till we were served. This was for breakfast so i don't know what it's like any other time of the day. Service sucked too, never came back to refill drinks while we waited an eternity for food. I have eaten at Wildflower several times while visiting Huntingdon and in the past I had always had a good experience, up until my most recent visit. I do have to say that the food is reasonably priced, the staff is very welcoming, and the food is good. The service is a little slow depending on what you order and how busy they are. My significant other and I had taken a day off recently to celebrate my birthday and decided to stop at the Wildflower for brunch. I ordered a salad and he ordered a turkey wrap, which were both very good. After finishing our food, the owner offered us dessert. The owner was telling us that he was going to be getting a new supply of whoopie pies ("gobbs" as they called them) from the person that makes them for the restaurant and that because of this, he was selling the ones he currently had for a discounted rate to get rid of them. My boyfriend and I decided to purchase one (chocolate-peanut butter) and we split it. The dessert tasted a bit stale and the cake/cookie part was quite dry, leading us to wonder how old it was. Aside from that, the brunch was low key and we had a nice time. Fast-forward a few hours--Both myself and my boyfriend started to become quite ill. We ended up spending the next 24 hours in bed fighting stomach cramps, vomiting, and gastro issues. Unfortunately I have experienced food poisoning in the past and the symptoms were very reminiscent of those past experiences. As that was the only meal that we had that day and because we both became ill after eating at Wildflower, I personally feel that we likely became sick from something we ate at the restaurant. We didn't go to the doctor's office, as the illness only lasted about a day, so I have no formal confirmation that it was in fact food poisoning. Despite this, I will not be eating at Wildflower again. I don't know if the illness came from the gobbs, which may have been old/expired or from the mishandling/cross-contamination of our meals, but I won't risk eating at this restaurant again. read more

We were in town visiting Juniata and stopped in for lunch. The staff member who greeted and served us was friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and I was pleased that they serve breakfast all day. Was on a field trip with friends today, and we chose Wildflower Cafe because of the Yelp reviews and their health rating of 100. We were not disappointed. Staff here is super friendly and insured that my girlfriend and I felt like we were dining at home. The patio area is wonderful to sit on during a sunny day. What an awesome local restaurant! The owners Jess and Darren are wonderful! We had just left the campground on a rainy day and wanted a hot meal. I found Wildflower on yelp so we headed over. I called to make a reservation since we were a party of 10. We were seated immediately at a very spacious table. The owners were awesome and came over to our table and chatted with us. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. An old beautiful building decorated very new aged. I had the chicken salad served over a bed of lettuce. It was really awesome! The walnuts and craisens gave it a wonderful flavor! 3 of the guys had the cowboy hash and liked it! It was very filling. Another person had the pancakes and we couldn't get over the size of them. Hugh and very good! Everyone loved their meal. They have fresh brewed ice tea. They have a selection of hot teas. And plenty of coffee for all the hung over men at the table. The prices are excellent! Very reasonable for the portions. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Cute cafe, we came for breakfast around 8am on Friday morning. We were seated promptly, had our orders taken shortly after. Food was good, I had the egg white and spinach and feta omelette. It was substantial portions, coffee came in big cups. The only thing that I took a star for was after ordering, the waitress forgot to take our menus from the table, two orders were fulfilled backwards, and after the meal was complete, the waitress did not clear the table. We sat and conversed with our empty plates for upwards of 20 minutes before we left. Despite those things, the food was good and I would probably go back if I was in the area. read more

Stopped in for some coffee and Pumpkin Pie, and ended up staying for hours, reading and relaxing because of the comfortable atmosphere, friendly people, and not to mention THE BEST Pumpkin Pie! We had such a great time, that we came back another day for breakfast and was greeted by the same, friendly people and great food. At the end, we were given some free homemade fudge to sample. A nice local deli cafe. We had some basic cheese sandwich. The daily special was a watermelon gazpacho - pretty good. The Waldorf-style chicken salad had a lot of mayonnaise, but was quite nice with the nuts and grapes. Another person in my party ordered some baguettes with brie and raspberries, and turkey and cheddar - but this ended up being simple toast -- a little too simple, and too much "beans on toast" that I didn't even have as an undergrad. I'm glad we discovered this indie cafe passing through Huntingdon! We'll be back. read more
