Seated us outside. Fresh water on table. Many drink options. burger was as good. I got salad with grilled chicken was absolutely the best tender lettuce and balsamic dressing (homemade buy the bottle at the store) . Most of got salad all different ones and LOVED it! We were not sure about this place based on reviews but didn't really want to spend the time driving into Huntingdon for dinner. Camping at the resort meant we didn't plan on eating out but our original plans were still frozen and a storm was coming in (boo). So plan b, Marina Cafe. On site, simple but varied menu, and friendly staff. Decor has a vintage vibe, older but clean and maintained. Everything we had (pictures) was delicious and if we run into an issue with our camp meal plan again it won't be a hard decision on what's the go to plan b. read more

The other posts noting the rudeness and incompetency of the hostess are spot on. I could cut and paste their experiences into this review as they reflect our experience perfectly. We had a group of 20, recognizing this is hard for any place to accommodate (especially when you can't make a reservation) we agreed to being split up. What we didn't imagine is that it would be amongst SIX different tables around the restaurant. FOUR of which were two-top tables. When we asked to move or move the tables together we were met with more contempt from the hostess. There are many good servers and workers at the resort that keep everything pulled together. I have great sympathy for them as the management recognizes they have a captive audience who have no other options. It's unfortunate that everyone is subject to this treatment and left without any other option at the resort. read more

I don't enjoy giving a bad review, but I had high expectations for this Raystown Lake 'resort'.... I had boneless wings with a garlic butter sauce. Over cooked & under flavored obviously not house made .... Also disappointed that there are no alcohol based drinks available.... I also had a wasp visit me at the table (inside).... We were told about outside seating, but there is a bee problem....Can't see a reason to return. On a positive note, the hostess & server were both extremely friendly. read more

My family and I were staying at the resort, so we figured we'd grab a bite here before hitting the water. On weekdays, they don't open until noon, so we had to wait 30 minutes for them to open - not a big deal since the location is convenient. A line formed behind us by the time 12 came, and the host came out. He said whoever was with some senior center could enter first, which was literally everyone else in line behind us, and never even acknowledged us. When he came back out a few minutes later, he asked "how can I help you?", which was weird since it's a cafe that serves food. When we finally got seated and looked at their menu, there were only a handful of overpriced options. We decided to leave and drive 25 minutes to Mamie's - which is highly suggested, by the way. It was a strange experience and seems like such a missed opportunity for a nice property like the resort. Go elsewhere for better food and better service at better prices. read more

Great place to eat for what it is, a seasonal resort restaurant. The menu has something for everyone. All sandwiches are on high quality breads, wings are excellent. Breakfast is also stellar. Nothing better than having a decent breakfast out in the deck overlooking the Marina. My only complaint is how the personnel are managed. The service has not improved from the beginning of this season to the end. This means they are not being trained. This place has a ton of potential to be something more. No beer, a little run down, docks in need of repair. All and all, excellent stop for someone passing through. It's the best eatery in the area for miles. read more

Sat on the patio this afternoon overlooking the beautiful marina. Had Lily for our server. she was very attentive and pleasant. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the delicious hot wings, the burgers, and the house chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious and served on yummy rolls. Looking forward to going back next year. read more

Very disappointed in our visit here. Their menu is very confusing. Many items are dinner only however the same or similar items are listed in the lunch area too. Crab cakes are one of these double listed items. Service was extraordinarily slow despite the fact that we were the only people in the place. The iced tea was super bitter, likey over brewed or left over from the day before. I don't think we will come back for overpriced mediocre food, slow service with a limited menu. read more

The food was exceptional.The waitresses were polite and efficient and were tipped very well. We ate there three days in a row. They have a excellent chef and you got a huge amount of food for your money. if hadn't been for the shrew of a hostess I would easily have given it five stars. The first time we were there we told her we wanted to eat on the deck after she told us to stay where we were and not to come any closer.??? Then she told us in a scolding voice that there were bees on the deck and if we went out there and wanted to come back in we wouldn't be allowed.I informed her I did two tours in Nam and wasn't running from any bees. With not much choices for food in the area, we stopped for lunch before our water outings. We ordered loaded pub fries and Galley bone-in wings. They were some of the best loaded fries I have ever had in my life. Crispy, seasoned well, excellent cheese sauce. Just exactly what you'd hope for in some good loaded fries. Excellent restaurant. We stopped for breakfast and it was so delicious. Eggs were done to perfection. Bacon was thick smoked and meaty. Rye toast was thick and marbled. Homefries were crispy and not greasy. Large portions. Such care was taken to make this delicious breakfast. Service was wonderful. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Will go back again. I love everything about this place, except they didn't have handicap access for my in-laws who are on oxygen 24 hours a day and their cabins were on a major hill. Also, it thunderstormed all night the first night and it was muddy and gross all day the next day. Also, the wifi service sucked so bad. I have T-Mobile and there are no T-Mobile towers so, they hook you up with wifi and it is consistently turning off and you have to reset the password every time. So annoying when I was here for a family reunion and I had to be online to keep up with family. Other than that, the cabin was nice and clean, the linens were perfect, and the location is good. It was still enjoyable and I would come back again. read more

Two stars because they were open. It's July 4th, we were on the road for hours and they were the only place open. We had a couple of burgers and drinks ( no bar,no beer) just iced tea. When we walked in to the restaurant on 4/18/21 we were greeted by our waitress. Her name was Barb C. This woman should train every waitress everywhere. She was sooo sweet and very attentive. My husband ordered the Chicken Boca and I had The Whaler. Both sandwiches were the best we ever had. Hats off to the chef as well. We left her a 40% tip! Worth every penny. read more
