We parked across the street at a parking lot and walked to the ice cream place. Canyon Creamery is such a cute and small ice cream place, we were greeted by the young girl in charge. They had a good selection of flavors and even sorbets! I had a "Cookies & Cream" scoop and a "cookie dough" scoop in a waffle cone. -I had no idea how huge the scoops were! When I received my ice cream cone I almost fainted! It was so big! But the best part was the flavor! Yummmm. Good ice cream! Definitely worth to stop by if you are driving. The shop also offers coffee drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The girl was nice and sweet and she giggled when she saw my face after I got the ice cream. I fortunately was able to pull over immediately and get my shirt off and clean up what I could on me and in the car. When I looked at what was left in the partially crumpled cup it looked like sludge. Had I not been so far down the road I would have gone back and asked why the coffee looked like sludge. I'm very careful picking up any paper cup with coffee but this one was definitely defective. I'll just say my real concern is coffee sludge! What the hell is it. Do to traveling I did not get to clean myself off very well and developed a nasty rash which I am just getting over now maybe 12 days later. Can't prove the coffee sludge caused it but it is certainly suspect.
