Unfortunately, during our visit last week we experienced an extremely rude cashier. After the gentleman wrote down our inventory, we took the paper to the cashier. Instead of greeting us, she proceeds to snatch the paper out of my Mother's hand and begins to ring up the order. She doesn't say "Hi" or "Welcome to Luurs", nothing. I did notice after we left she greeted the next customer. Having said that, I don't know why she was so rude to us. The other workers were friendly. However, this employee needs to be trained on how to conduct good customer service to ALL patrons if she will be front facing to customers.

The wedding took place…read moreoutside and the gardens are beautiful, well maintained, with a great variety of plants, flowers etc. After the wedding we enjoyed a cocktail hour, so it was nice to be able to explore the different rooms, with drinks, I love that they kept original pieces, the fireplaces had different colored tiles. We enjoyed a delicious dinner upstairs, not sure if it was outside catering or something through the mansion, but it was seriously delicious! After that we danced! I also appreciated being able to cool off near the beautiful fountain. If you are getting married in the near future, consider this venue!

I searched for specific hot pepper plants, the site shows that they carry the plants. 6 weeks ago I sent an email inquiry to the 'Contact us' email with no reply or answer. Finally I decided to take the chance and drive 18 miles out of my way to see if they truly do have the plants that I desire...BIG FAT NO! After calling the main office number and leaving a voicemail of my disgust in false advertising, two days later someone contacted me to tell me that the plants that I was looking for never existed and never was taken off the website. Anyone out there building a website with products do not false advertise that will close you down quickly!!!!
