The best Thai & Chinese food ever! We order to go or delivery many times! And have been to the…read morerestaurant once where the atmosphere is quaint the service excellent and the food excellent. Every time the food is a quite a big step above your standard Chinese restaurant. They are always very gracious especially over the phone (which is not always the case) when answering our questions and making suggestions. I'm a vegetarian and there are so many options that are delicious. Recommend their appetizers which are more than enough to share, we love the pan fried vegetable dumplings with a delicious sauce for dunking (it's so good I could drink it), vegetable fried rice big chunks of fresh veggies, the fried brussels sprouts drizzled with Szechuan sauce are divine, the scallion pancakes with the ginger & soy dip are so good too. The build your own dishes are convenient way to try all their delicious sauces, my favorites are the garlic and Panang curry with Tofu and fresh vegetables like green beans, red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli and onions over brown rice!!! Definitely not ordinary and plenty for dinner for 2 nights! For my husband who enjoys eating meat, the Won Ton soup, Mei Fun with pork, Lemongrass Chicken, Ma La Chicken & Shrimp and Po's Seafood Amazing with shrimp, scallops, flounder and calamari are his favorite Signature dishes. Lastly, not sure you can get great desserts at other Chinese restaurants but at Po's that's definitely NOT the case. They are not on the to go menu on the website so BE SURE TO ASK what their desserts are when calling. The flourless chocolate cake and layered lemon cake are delicious and 5 stars like everything that they serve!!! Or at least every thing we've tried and it's been quite a lot since they opened. They are also such a great choice for a family gathering, because we have ordered a bunch of food and laid it all out buffet style which was great for my parents who only ever ordered beef and broccoli elsewhere, were thrilled to sample a little of everything, then happily went back for seconds or just sent out the web menu ahead of time and that ensured that everyone was happy with their choices, plus a great dessert tray that always impressed! If you haven't tried Po's, you definitely should. If you think it's a little more expensive than the usual Chinese take-out, that's because Po's is a 4-5 star restaurant with unique, flavorful dishes that are made with fresh and high quality ingredients, and are consistently incredibly satisfying.

East Hampton is a beautiful place, but we usually don't go there unless we have a purpose. Today's trip was for an open house and tour of the Bevins Bell factory. Today was a beautiful day, just enough sun and plenty of wind. We decided to sit outside, unfortunately being the only ones outside we were kind of neglected. We seated ourselves at a table, we weren't brought set ups (silverware, and napkins) as the hostess promised, and the service was a little slow. We were given menus and our orders were taken quickly. The appetizers came out quick. We decided to try the steamed dumplings, the crab Rangoon, and the Thai chicken lettuce cups. Everything tasted great and fresh. Lunch was Drunken Noodles, teriyaki beef and boneless barbecue ribs, and a lunch, special of salmon and bok choy. The lunches were filling and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. I think East Hampton has given us a reason to visit more often.
