We recently bought a house and have been on the hunt for decor, but we usually struggle to find things. Within 2 minutes of being here, we found a picture that we fell in love to hang in our kitchen. The place just kept going, and this place was totally our style with a mix of new and antique items! I loved the Easter decor they had in the annex and couldn't resist picking up some items to decorate my fireplace mantle with. I found the prices to be very fair, and any staff member we dealt with was pleasant. We will definitely be coming back up!

Going into the store we found it to be very clean, organized and fresh smelling. I say that because a lot of places have a musty smell, this did not. Well placed pens throughout the store. I was pleasantly surprised going around the store. S as I thought we would reach the end, no another area would open up. Very large area to browse. And they have what they call an Annex located across the parking lot. Which was equally nice to go around and browse. Saw a lot of nice furniture that was reasonably priced. Probably will return after sizing our home area to make sure it would fit. Did see a coffee shop on the same complex area, although we did not check it out as we had other spots to go to. All in all a very nice location with nice items to browse and buy.

There's an upstairs with a coffee table, a bean bag chair and two chairs (and lots of artists wares for sale on the wall). There are a few tables outside, so waiting until it's warm enough or ordering To-Go would be my suggestion. I shared pictures of the beautiful breakfast plates we received. The food was delicious! The sausage I asked for in my Eggs Benny was delicious! They were clearly homemade sausage that had a nice rosemary flavor. My husband's breakfast star was the chef made ham steak slices, and the rosemary sourdough toast. Yes, I recommend the food here! We were rather disappointed by the temperament of the person we assumed is the owner... when asked if they would please lower the music a little, because I'm healing from a traumatic brain injury (and it was blasting commercials and music; it wasn't a pleasant music track or album), said with an attitude "Sorry I can't control where the speakers are", and from that point seemed a lot less friendly. Her attitude didn't ruin the taste of the food, but this was a special outing (my first in 3 years since falling on black ice), near Goodspeed Opera House. This is a touristy area and people that run breakfast/brunch spots are usually friendly and eager to help with small requests. Often interactions with the restaurant staff adds greatly to the experience. Her sour grapes and refusal to help me feel comfortable by lowering it a smidge (I was already wearing noise cancelling ear buds, just so you understand how loud it was and that she didn't turn it down even a tiny bit), made breakfast less nice. We won't be returning ~ there are so many restaurants struggling to survive after Covid, we'd rather spend our time and money there.

The quality of the trees is great - 5-6 years and we've never had a bad tree. They're full, look green and healthy until the New Year and smell amazing. Pumpkin facts are all over pumpkin town (pumpkins are hand-painted, costumed each year, and stored nightly, etc.) and it's a fun scavenger hunt for these facts. Jumping houses, tubes, and interactive houses were the best parts for our little one. Credit/debit users, remember to bring cash for postcards as you can send them postmarked from Pumpkin Town, autumn treats like cider donuts and popcorn at the snack stand, and the catapults over the pond aimed at Red Sox and Yankees targets (must be a Mets Family here!). Also remember a couple bucks to cash for the breast cancer donation box, in memory of Sandy herself. Having to bring cash isn't my favorite but there was a farm stand and snack bar with souvenirs where cards could be used. Pumpkin Town is part folk art installation, part amusement park, part harvest fair, and a fun tradition. I only wish they had a Santa Town each winter...

Only about a half-hour away from me is Jessica's Garden. Here's why my wife and I love coming here... Atmosphere/Appearance: Kind of out in the sticks is this gem, but many benefits of that are that there's private parking and plenty of it. Up the hill from where you park is where you go to order your food. You walk up to the counter to check out the menu or you can order from your phone. Hint, if you check-in on Yelp you may get a coupon to use online! Once you order you won't really be notified so just go to the other window around the corner from where you ordered to pick up your food. There's plenty of picnic table style seating and so much property to explore. There's woods back to check out and this place is just so peaceful. It's also... BYOB. That's what's most important. Lol, especially with a liquor store right up the street. Service: There really isn't any since you go order your own food then go pick it right back up. Food: It's a pretty simple menu here. The lobster roll is what you want. Yes, it can be pricy, but lobster just is. However, it's amazing. The lobster is soft, tender, succulent and of course, buttery. You do have to assemble the roll yourself since everything here is sold as a to-go order. It kinda makes sense. I've also had some wings and onion rings here. They're okay, nothing to write home about, but good enough for me to get each time I visit. Value: Moderate. Easily affordable, nothing crazy and the fact that it's B.Y.O.B. makes it WAY better! Lol. In conclusion, Jessica's Garden is my duck-off spot where I go if I wanna eat outdoors, am craving a lobster roll and I just wanna chill. Check this place out guys and continue to support these local businesses!

One that was not stifling. I imagine Jessica's could be absolutely amazing, but the sad part was the lobster roll. It was tiny and over buttered which made the hot dog roll it sat on very mushy and unappetizing. I wanted to love Jessica's so much! It's my namesake! But alas the food. :( I will give them another try though because it was such a fun place. Maybe I'll try something different off the menu. Hang tight!
