No thanks, not today. "I'd recommend you just sign up; you can always cancel anytime if you decide to." No. Thank. You. And I am certainly not blaming this employee. I am sure she does not want to have that same conversation with people all day long. I blame whoever is making this corporate decision; I have no idea why they think it's wise to bully customers and make it so unpleasant to shop there.
