Everyone was fished out their portion and we began to eat, when all of a sudden... our mouths were on fire burning from not heat, but spice, and I mean pepper spice, almost like they used salsa for sauce or something of that nature. None of us could continue to eat it. The following day I called and expressed my concern and dismay and they talked to management but wouldn't put anyone else in the phone and said well that's how we make it. I said it's not supposed to be hot peppery spicy, it's Italian not Mexican food. I have never had lasagna in a spicy version ans I've had it made by a large variety of people and places. They didn't seem to care and that was the extent of the call. I will not give them business again, $48 is a lot to spend on food that is clearly mislabeled. Give them a try and see what you think, or don't. Either way, I know what I experienced and I was not pleased.

I had the Philly steak omelette, my wife got the breakfast special, and my son got the biscuit and gravy with bacon. Every single bit of food was cooked to perfection and came out hot. The service was tremendous with the waitresses staying on top of of drinks and making sure we got our food in a timely manner. We also love the small town feel of the diner.
