We were seated and noticed a large ad for a free Veteran's meal on November 11th. More about that later. We had heard about the "award winning wings", so I decided to try them as I enjoy good wings. BAD choice! When my wings were delivered, I had to send them back as they were burnt and charred on the bottom and looked basically inedible. I showed them to the server and she said she was sorry and the wings and fries were replaced about 15 minutes later. At least the wings were - there were no fries so she was sent back for more and they were served another ten minutes later. To make a long story short, as I am a 36-year veteran of the CAF, I will forego this place on Remembrance Day and future occasions and vote with my feet, as we have dozens of other places to eat, free or not, in Kingston.
