We came here for lunch before spending the day on Blue Mountain. There were only 2 other parties when we got there. They have both indoor and outdoor seating (right in the small lake!), but it was pretty windy the day we went so everyone was sitting inside. We ordered the calamari to start and I got the chicken Cesar wrap. My sister ordered garlic wings. Food tasted like your typical restaurant food, not bad but nothing special. Portions were pretty large and I took home half the wrap. Seems like they have happy hours specials later in the day as well, would recommend checking it out. read more

Horrible service For limited choices in Blue Mountain, I came to this place around 8:30pm. It had passed the rush dinner hours, but this place seemed to be under staffed. There were a lot of empty tables, but not cleaned. I was waiting for a table, but no one helped me for a while. Then I ended up ordering to go. This place is near mill pond and has nice views. But I guess it is at a tourist place, so it does not care about its service. read more

Extremely friendly staff and excellent wild wing fare. If you are used to a franchise owned wild wing, you will have a good time at this location. Pet friendly and smiling staff, cold beer and crispy wings with no surprises when compared to other locations. I had JUST eaten at a corporate owned location the day prior to this visit. Worth your dime? I'm gonna go with if it's all you got or for some reason you get a wings craving, otherwise it's average fare. Wings: Ok. They're just ok. Do you really, really want chicken wings all the time? Well, Blue Mountain has the solution for you. These are crispy wings with milder ratings than they should be (three flames for them = a mild smolder for you), but they get the job done. Watch out for the "jerk" seasoning because that means throwing a bunch a jerk spices on the wings as they are heading out of the kitchen. Overall, the service is fine, when it is customer facing, but the servers themselves seem to genuinely to hate each other and will count their money (a kind of server show-off move?) on the counter inches away from customers. Can't say what their food is like but as far as service, that was lousy. My wife went there twice to get a gift certificate for a Christmas. She was told they couldn't get into the office to get a gift certificate and to come back in the morning. When she went back the next Day she was told the Head Honcho was across the Pond somewhere and no one knew how to make a gift certificate out. We walked into the Wild Wing at Blue Mountain and I was surprised with how cozy and small this location of the chicken wing chain was. We were situated in a cabin restaurant. We quickly looked through the menu and knew what we wanted to order. It did take some time before we were able to wave down a server to take down our order. For some reason, our original server didn't even come by to check on us after seating us and didn't serve us water either. In anyway case, after our orders were placed with another server, we received our food soon after. I ordered the Butter Chicken Flatbread! This sounded so amazing and I was so thoroughly impressed and satisfied with it! It had butter chicken sauce, caramelized onions, grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses baked on a fresh flatbread. You wouldn't expect anything else on the menu of a chicken wing restaurant to be amazing but this was so good. The pieces of grilled chicken were so tender and moist, the butter chicken sauce was the real deal, the caramelized onions added to the flavour of the cheeses and the flatbread was so soft and delicious. Sometimes at restaurants, the flatbreads are very over-baked and hard but this one was perfect. I even licked up all of the sauces from the flatbread because it was so good. K ordered a serving of the wings that came with a side of fries. He got the Backyard BBQ Maui Waui flavour which was BBQ sauce plus pineapple curry. These chicken wings were also really good since they were moist and tender inside and the Maui Waui flavour was very appetizing, a little tangy, and yummy. The blue cheese dip that came with the fries was also so delicious. I could have drank it all up. What a great lunch! read more

Horrible service! One star is to much for this place. We just got our food and 2 mins later the server comes and takes the ketchup for another table when we didn't even start eating our fries. Didn't even wipe it down for the next table, asked for crayons for my daughter the cup had water in it with the crayons. My daughter takes the cup of pop with her as she wanted the ice and as I took off the lid I noticed there was crayon markings all inside the cup that my daughter finished her drink from. I went back inside to tell them and they said would you like the money back for the kids meal. And that she couldn't see it because of her mask. It looked like she intensely did that. We placed a take out order - nothing fancy, just a regular order of wings and onion rings. It took over 20 minutes to prepare and the restaurant wasn't even busy at the time (it was before noon). When we got back to our rental with the food, we were looking forward to digging in and there was no dip, no veggies, and more than one of the wings was actually a deep fried piece of bread. Sure we could have checked it before we left but who goes through all their boxes to make sure all the food is correct? It's kind of implied that the restaurant will get it right the first time around! We called and spoke to manager to arrange for a refund, had to made the 10 minute trek back to the restaurant. We asked if they'd be willing to comp a new order for us just to compensate for the long wait for the order and all the back and forth to the restaurant from our rental and the answer was a flat no. Ordered the threesome chicken wings for three people. Not sure if it was just me, but I thought the chicken wings were quite small, and I was still hungry afterwards. I'm usually full after 1 pound of chicken wings though. For each pound of chicken wing, you get one carrot and one celery stick. Personally not enough for me and this may be the Wild Wing standard now. Overall, standard chicken wings, lots of flavours to choose from and they were all decent. The staff is incredibly rude. We waited 30 mins for our food, complained and the wait staff told us off and indicated that this type of wait isn't unusual. To top it off our orders were wrong and we were given a hard time about it. We asked to speak to a manager and none was available. Apparently, the owner is in New York. AVOID this place at all costs. Resort prices, okay flavors, but not the best wings I've ever had. We ended up ordering 5 lbs of wings for a large group so you get 10 flavors and celery and carrots. We didn't get any ranch though we ordered it and our one person in the group who wanted a salad spent $20 on a chicken salad that was maybe $2 worth of lettuce. Overall, not my favorite place. If you're going to be a place that specializes in a specific food, that food had better be really, really good. We came here after we found the wings at Rusty's to be disappointing. I don't know how to put it. The wings here aren't good. These wings were embarrassingly small. I think the problem is that when you have so many sauce and flavor combinations it's hard to have great quality. The back page of the menu is devoted to flavor combinations. There must be at least 50 options. We ordered two sets of wings. One was a dry, breaded jerk seasoning that had so much breading that the wings, though the same base size as the other set of wings was pumped up to twice the size. Our second set was an order of sauced wings that combined hot with a garlic parmesan sauce. (Apparently they have trademarked "Gar Par" for this sauce.) I actually thought the sauce was okay. The problem was that the minuscule wings were so small that they cooked through too quickly and were almost burned. This place is not a great option. read more

Went here coz we run out of options to have dinner as its a Saturday. We have just at down and here comes our server kinda rushing us to order. When we finally have ordered & got our order, our server never came back anymore to check on us. Our table was out of napkins & wipes, I have to ask the other server to stuff that we need. Same thing when we're ready to pay our bill, waited for 30 mins for our server so I could ask for our bill but she's just a no show, so I have to again ask the other server. Then finally Hailey, came with our bill saying that there's a problem with their interac. This place stunk of old oil & the wooden floors were extremely sticky (black marks on the wooden floors need to be degreasers). The bucket at the table was also dirty. Nachos were terrible. Small. Not much flavour. No jalapeños (said it came with them but they were "out of them"). Not worth $3 let alone $12. Wings were pretty good but we couldn't believe we had to pay $.75 for blue cheese or ranch dip. Wings should come with dip. Didn't have some of the draft beers advertised. Service was good. Would have rather been on the patio but there wasn't room. It was hotter inside than outside...and it was a hot evening. Menus were confusing as it seems the pages were printed out of order. This place is incredible and I don't know what all you posters are talking about it with such negative reviews. And I promise I don't work here or know anybody who works here. I was here two days ago with my 12-year-old son, we weren't very hungry so I ordered a glass of wine and asked if they have servings of smaller than nine pieces of wings which came to $15. Instead of giving me attitude like any normal place would i.e. who needs a smaller portion then nine pieces of wings to split between two people? Instead our beautiful blonde adorable waitress pointed out that on the back of the colouring book that she had given my son there was a kids menu with a portion of only five wings and it was only eight dollars.! Fabulous! She was very very patient while we took forever to decide which kind of dipping sauce and which kind of breading and which kind of flavours we wanted including even calling my husband to check which kind we had ordered last time that we enjoyed. Any other waitress would be pulling her hair out. She was so lovely and helpful - what an angel. In total I think she patiently came back to our table about five times before we eventually ordered, And then when our food showed up the lovely chef had decided to make us a full adult portion without charging us for an adult portion. So we got nine wings which were huge wings by the way-- somebody was complaining and saying their skimpy portions, that is not true! Plus there was delicious fries on the side as well! All that for eight dollars!!! I mentioned to our waitress later that we had read a lot of negative yelp reviews and we were worried but her service was so perfect we were going to write a new positive review and hopefully help to remedy the situation. Oh and an added bonus ---check out this view!!!!! You cannot get a better view anywhere in Collingwood. You have a view of the lake, the mountain and you're sitting right on a beautiful gorgeous wooden deck with an amazing view of the nicest hotel in BlueMountain, and there's bulrushes butterflies bullfrogs nature all around you in a little oasis. This place is terrible and dishonest and I would never recommend anyone going there. There are much better options in the village. We had a party of 4 visiting today for a quick dinner, and the server initially made a mistake and delivered double orders of the salad and double orders of full rack of ribs. This is in addition to our order of two serving of wings, calamari and a salad. He insisted that that's our order. Eventually he took them back. We also found that the wings were not made to what we have ordered. We ordered non breaded but they came with breaded wings. The worst part is, when the bill finally came, it came with the wrong amounts with the double orders still on. We tried to ask for the server but another girl came and fixed the bill for us. She explained that she didn't know why the server didn't correct the bill, without an apology. When we asked where our server was, she just said he was busy with some other tables. After late night snowboarding, we went to Wild Wing at around 10:30, because it was the only place open in the Village that wouldn't break the bank. We got the BBQ and honey garlic wings and they were really good. I personally thought there was too much sauce but my boyfriend said it was one of his favourite. It wasn't too breaded which I appreciated because I disliked really breaded wings. I got the fish and chips and wasn't a huge fan. The fish was overlooked, really dry, and hard to eat. My boyfriend got the chicken burger (can't remember exactly which one) but he loved it!!! The fries that came with our wings were also REALLY good! The service was great but our table was kind of by a window and I was freezing the whole time even though I was wearing a hoodie. My entree had the potential of being good (I'm assuming, if it wasn't over cooked) so I'm taking away stars for that. Absolute nightmare at lunch today. We went in ordered a drink and then we're told they were having construction done , there was no oven working so no burgers wraps or pasta. We ordered salad and ate as fast as we could because the noise was unbearable. Drilling and hammering 3 feet from the dining room. The woman beside me ordered a glass of wine that came in a filthy glass. I could see the water stains from 6 feet. I asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about these issues befor we sat down and he shrugged. Asked for the bill and was told their credit card system was down. Waited 10 minutes for them to fix it but they couldn't. We were asked to give our credit card number to them and they would process it when they got their system up!! Are you kidding me!! So my friends and I were finished skiing around 9 and by the time we got here for dinner around 9:45 they were already closed. Staff were still inside and saw us waiting outside and didn't offer to tell us if they were still serving since we weren't sure. They don't have any hours of operation either posted outside.
