We come here religiously when we are in town, it's been going downhill sadly. The food is good but the service is not. We love the outdoor patio and looking for the alligator while we wait! The Buffalo Dip is really good if you like spicy! We haven't ever gotten a meal we haven't liked. I have had the burger here on several occasions and it is one of the better bar burgers in the area. The wings are large and tasty and bit on the pricey side but overall on par with other area restaurants. They have lots of favor options for you wing lovers. The onion rings are really tasty. We really liked everything we had - wings (tender , not overcooked ), wrap sandwich with chips , onion rings (great!) , mini corn dogs (ok, they're corn dogs but were very crispy and good ) and some melt in your mouth pretzel bites 1 you don't even need the cheese sauce . We went to dinner on a Sunday night. The place is HUGE - no wait, seated out of the deck which was perfect - it was raining a little but not too hot. It seems like the food took a while - but that was OK as we weren't going anywhere else. And we had the gator, turtles, TV and cell phones to pass the time. Our order came out and looked great. 18 wings with 3 sauces for hubby and the chopped salad for me. Hubby says the wings were good = which is a high compliment from him. He is a self=professed wing expert. I consider him a wing snob. The salad was AWESOME! Mixed greens (lots of iceberg), cherry tomatoes, and lots of meats and cheeses, bacon, egg, and I'm sure more I'm forgetting - including the SHRIMP. The shrimp was grilled and had a nice flavor. There was also ham and a couple types of cheeses. I got the oil and vinegar - as believe it not - this salad was the lowest calorie count!! And I tried to keep it that way. We have come to the restaurant the last 3 years on vacation. This year was absolutely the worst. We can 2 times, well 3 times, if you count when we can in and left. I went to ask for crayons for the kids was informed they have ran out . When the food finally came we did not have al the condiments that we had asked for ( a common theme) in this establishment. The kids meals were very small with very little portions. The club sandwich was toasted to a crisp. The burger and bacon were burnt. The tots were flavorless.. We asked for the manager to come to the table and voiced our concerns especially with our waiter and he shrugged and said will get you a new club sandwich. So I gave up on my drinks. We waited for her to come back to place our order and after 20 minutes I decided to grab another server for help, a young man. He proceeded to apologize, stating they were short-handed and a little overwhelmed in the kitchen so all the servers were working double-duty. He took our order for Caroline. I'm not unsympathetic, I totally understand how this world works now, so I tried being patient. Caroline never came over to apologize for our wait or for the other server taking our order. I did gesture for him once more to give him an early tip. Long story short, after one hour and fifteen minutes we received our food. My wings were the worst quality wings I've ever had. My husband said the same. My adult son said his philly was okay and my daughter had a salad. We saw the manager but he appeared to be slinking around avoiding eye contact. There was a large party at a table nearby and they complained about their service as well. However, we did not get the opportunity because Caroline only came back (with an attitude because we summoned her colleague I guess) to give us the check. $80 for this lunch was unfathomable.
