We stopped into this store while strolling through Old Town while visiting. About 10 years ago, my (now) husband and I - while casually perusing the many stores in Old Town - walked into Scottsdale Jewels. Because we'd been looking for an engagement ring elsewhere, a specific ring caught my eye. The owner (Willie) asked me to take it home overnight and think about it. He refused to take our names, identification, credit card - anything. He insisted we "try out" the ring! We took the ring to the other jeweler to compare quality and that jeweler valued the ring at a higher price than Willie quoted. We bought the ring.
