It's growing season, and I didn't quite know how it would be rolling in, but it's clear that the owners know what they're doing and want to keep doing it at a reasonable scale. We decided to add some fruit trees to our yard and wanted to shop small and local. From the moment we walked up to Wild Thyme I felt like we were in good hands. We didn't think we would be able to get everything we wanted at the same place but they had everything! We ended up with one apple, one cherry, one peach and one pear. The neat thing about the pear is it is 4 pears in one tree. What a find!! The staff was so knowledgeable and, after asking what we already had, they made recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. I've driven by this place a million times and never really paid attention to it before. This spring I was looking for a quince tree but most nurseries don't have them so I was so excited to find them here! The nursery is bigger than it looks from the road and they have a lot of variety, even plants that I haven't seen at the bigger nurseries. There was a lady and a gentleman working that day and they were so helpful. They carried the trees to my truck and made sure they were secure for the drive. They also gave me planting instructions, some tips for growing, and said to call back with any questions. Overall I had a great experience at this nursery and plan to come back for any future planting needs! read more

This is one of the best nurseries I've ever been to! If you want perrenial plants, edible fruit trees and bushes or pond plants, this is the place for you. They also do starts in season and don't sell stuff when it isn't ready to go in your graden. The best thing is that you will get expert advice from them on any gardening questions you have. read more

I have driven past this place for years without much thought. After purchasing a house recently with beautiful landscaping, I was faced with a weeping cherry with an issue. I brought a piece of a branch to them to ask for guidance. As soon as I pulled the branch out of my car and they saw it, I was told it was a fungus and needed to spray. I didn't even ask yet. I decided to look around and see what they had. It was WAY bigger than it appeared. Very informative, kind, and fun staff/owners. My favorite part was the bluebirds that were like pets. They gave me an unshelled peanut and told me to hold my hand out and stay still. They called at her and I saw the bird swoop around and inspect me and the nut. She then swiped down and retrieved it from my hand. It made my day. We will be regulars for sure! read more

Again, Wild Thyme came to our rescue! This time it was with a problem only tangentially related to gardening, for which the owners provided some bamboo. At the same time, we asked again whether they happened to have a white lilac bush to replace our ancient one. The poor thing was run over and killed by a completely incompetent driver from Pacific Air Systems (!!). This time, Wild Thyme had one - yeay! - so we got it, and for a good price. Finally, we had a nice time observing their dear hummingbirds while the owner patiently answered my question about why my yellowing juvenile Austrian pine. He showed me that all the pines do this, so I shouldn't necessarily be too worried. Thanks again, Wild Thyme nursery! read more

Pil is awesome and completely knowledgeable about her her plants and trees. We bought a beautiful Japanese Maple from here. It's a local small mom and pop nursery, but their selection is varied and offers very healthy plants. We will be back to buy some perennials for our garden! read more

I bought a fuchsia plant from this place. The next day it went limp and never recovered. Turns out the plant was not rooted. It was a cutting from another plant that was just stuck in a pot with soil and put out for sale. Needles to say I will not be buying any more plants from this place. read more
