Wild Over Wings - 15 Piece Wings combo, catfish 2 Piece Fish Combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Garland, Texas

The best place to get wings , I crave it all the time. The flavor and sauces + loaded fries so bomb. The atmosphere is amazing! The service is great , everyone is so nice! Highly recommend read more

I came in last Saturday on 02/28 with my boyfriend, we ordered our good and paid. After paying, we had asked what the frozen drinks were.. we were served 2 cups and before drinking I double checked that they didn't not contain alcohol, as I do not drink, the man who was behind the counter (messy hair, older, bigger) had assured me they didn't contain alcohol. I took one sip and quickly tasted it, I put the cup down and told him "this has alcohol and I don't drink." he asked me why, which was none of his business and I told him I'm one year sober and simply don't drink. He looked at me and said "well I guess that one year ends today" and laughed. There's absolutely no reason for me to disclose why I don't drink to anyone, I could've been allergic, pregnant, or underage (to add my ID was not checked) and it's completely unprofessional and disrespectful to serve someone alcohol without their knowledge, not to mention, illegal. read more

5 star customer service from the owner every time, I've been coming to this joint since it opened many years ago! Still holds its weight when it comes to wings! Please try the loaded fries, you won't regret it! 5 stars for a Garland classic! read more

Wild Over Wings - Spicy lemon pepper, Cajun, and wow hot wings! Regular. Loaded Fries 10 Wings Combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Garland, Texas

The wings (half legs that I didn't order) were very dry. Must have been cooked the day before!!

The wings were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered the lemon pepper wings which were not too lemony as some places would have them. The chipotle BBQ was ok. I was looking for something with more of a kick. The cashier was very pleasant and patient when sharing menu items with me. read more

I'm so sad that this place has gone in the toilet, just ordered 30 wings most where inedible, tasted old like have been around for to long. Order a large coleslaw got a tiny little cup. Fries where the frozen crinkle cuts from Walmart and over salted to the point you could not eat them. I used to love this place I'm truly sad that it has gotten so bad read more

This place is a gem! I will be a repeat customer. Gerardo (spell check) is awesome and super funny and friendly when choosing an option. The lemon pepper wings are to die for and the lemon pepper catfish was the best I've had in a long time. I really appreciate the large size of the wings and the clean interior. This place is definitely on my list as one of the best wing restaurants in DFW. read more

Wow, what an experience in a very casual setting. Great customer service, friendly and attentive staff AND excellent wings! Worth driving by the competitors for healthy portions cooked to perfection. read more

Tacos meat is delicious. Just wish they used yellow corn tortillas and fried the tortilla a little. Wing are good fish is good. read more

Nothing too out of the ordinary. Food: Our favorite wing flavors are original hot, honey bbq, and hot teriyaki. Fries are so fresh and crispy. My boyfriend craves the sliders every now and then too. I can't think of a complaint regarding their food, besides the fact that I wouldn't mind if their fries portion was bigger. Atmosphere: Jazz themed cozy little spot. I don't like eating here cause it's always really warm and tables are half cleaned. Service: Four out of the four times I've been here, the workers always add an additional side of some sort without asking me - my last straw was when they added a whole extra order of wings. At first I thought it was on accident, but the three times that followed, they tried talking me into getting the additional item and became a bit passive aggressive when I kept refusing. read more

Decided to try this place since they had delivery via Ubereats. I also wanted to try them since they had catfish on their menu. Yeah, I know, it's a wing place and I'm trying the fish. Anyway, I ordered the 3piece catfish with a side of loaded fries. The fries really surprised me. They were just your run of the mill crinkle fries but they were delicious. The loaded fries that I ordered had bacon bits and ranch dressing. They also have an extra loaded fries that come with cheese, peppers, ranch and bacon bits. The version I ordered hit the spot. The fries were so soft and the combination of the ranch and bacon bits ( REAL BACON) made it a wonderful side item. I would definitely order them again. On to the fish. I ordered mine with lemon pepper and it certainly had lemon pepper on it. I would guess to say that Wild orders their catfish filets already breaded because the coating had an artificial taste to it, for a lack of a better word. The fish was ok, nothing special. The pieces were a nice size but that odd after taste of the breading had me disappointed. Guess that's what I get for ordering fish at a chicken place. read more

I've only had one or two bad experiences at this Wild over Wings location, things missing in my order or the food not being up to par but overall I enjoy eating at this establishment from time to time. The staff is moderately friendly most of the time, the food is always cooked to order. It's a little more expensive then Wing Stop but the flavors & quality are usually pretty good! read more

We had an amazing lunch here! I got the Cajun "ooo-wee" wings and they were awesome. The owner was great and even gave us samples of the rice which was fabulous!! read more

The wings are amazing!!! I got the 15 piece combo meal to share with the mandarin habanero & the signature sauce called gary habanero (which is not for the weak) it has such good flavor but prepare some tissue bc you will be sweating service was great & Gerardo the manager was very iconic!!! Can't wait to go back read more

Worst customer ever! If I could rate them 0 stars I would if you want to be treated like crap this is your place.

always fresh! always good! customer service is great and the food is even better. The cajun wings fried hard is my go to!

Loaded fries ok. Order wings and you 10 buck nuggets when delivered from Doordash. WOW screwed up and I guess the drivers don't check. read more

Will be back! Staff helpful and very Friendly! Food was delicious! I loved the honey Bar-B-que, my sister liked that and the original Buffalo. read more

The wings are nothing special. I would call them aggressively mediocre. I don't understand how mediocre wing places can stay is business with all the competition in the world. Wings were rubbery and tough. The flavors taste like they were out of the bottle. The catfish was good but was delivered without any tartar sauce. I think that there are probably ten other chicken places within 5 mile radius that serve better wings. read more

First time here and it will most likely be the last because of the male handling the register. Customer service is TRASH . Tried the fried okra it was sub par at best due to the overload of salt...... NOTHING to be wild over in the least bit Wingstop is right down the street so no thanx! read more

My first time here. I tried the lemon pepper and mild sauce mixed wings with loaded fries minus jalapeños. The combination of sauces was excellent. I'm definitely a fan. They say see you tomorrow when you leave. Well it want be that soon but I will be back. read more

Good solid food. Wings were great and the sauce was good. We had their Cajun rub, Parmesan, and teriyaki. Best side we tried was their dirty rice. Worth a second trip. read more

Gerardo the owner and full time cook is awesome! The loaded fries with ranch are as good as they sound! The wings are made to order and fresh. You expect that from any wings place, and you get it here for sure. The dirty rice was fantastic. Green beans were just like my Nanny used to make. And that means good people. Last but certainly not least. The hand breaded catfish was amazing! I mean it. Wonderful. read more

They definitely are better than Wingstop ! Best food ever hands down. I really recommend this place if you're craving wings and tired of Wingstop lol. They also have amazing catfish and fresh fries read more

Honestly I really wasn't impressed by the food my boyfriend and I went and ate. He got fish it was definitely over cooked, not even much fish to actually eat. I got wings and they were overdone as well, but they up-charge for everything. But they only got 3 stars because the frozen margaritas were great. read more

Worse customer service. I love their wings but the customer service is what makes me not want to go back there ever again.

First - let me confirm - these wings are bigger than all the rest in the Dallas market (except Zulu now). That said, I had to pay for different sauces on my 20 wing order & even 20 cents for a cup of ice. (seriously?) The owner stopped and talked to me a while but I have to admit, the place had no personality. I had 20 wings, loaded fries & 2 beers - my bill was nearly $30! (diet platter, in my book) Sauce choices & flavors were EXCELLENT! I still don't understand places that penalize you for wanting to sample all the spectrum of the wing-kingdom. Jury is still out on whether to give them another shot. I'm sure my fat cells will win out eventually. read more

Ohhhhhhhh......My mouth is watering as I type this review (I think I will have some tomorrow!) These are by far the BEST wings I have ever had, WingStop eat your heart out! (Sorry) No skimping here! These big juicy babies are the bomb.....All the wings are to die for. But the lemon pepper are my FAV....They use real lemon juice in the recipe... My Doctors office is down the street. So every month I get to indulge in these glorious "wings of wonder" ! read more

Ive come to this place for years and every single time it never disappoints! The hospitality is great and they are patient when you're ordering. They have huge wings wayy bigger than wingstop thats for sure. Chipotle volcano flavor is a must to try on your wings! All wings are super saucy which is a plus except if you're ordering a dry rub of course. They serve my fave fries which are crinkle cut. Okra and catfish are so good as well and affordable! They have various liquor to choose from and beers, and also show games on the tvs. Always a plus! I will continue to come here and would definitely recommend them! read more

Okay I was on door dash and this place popped up apparently I just found out it's super close.... I ordered the loaded cheese fries which I've been craving and 3 Piece fish with dirty rice.... the first bite was mouth melting... I was born in Mississippi and man ain't no fish like that... it made me feel like I was there... dirty rice was okay I like mine home made.. but wasn't bad... cheese fries was amazing my only complaint was the Cajun seasoning on the fish. It was a bit much but it still was good I need to try in person read more

The Retro Jazzy music was down just enough to enjoy your meal. Had a descent number of guest to say, lets try it. The gentleman behind the register was friendly and helpful. The food arrived pretty fast. Simple fries and wings, not as cheap as Hooters on weds. If Im in the area wanting, Wild on Wings will be on the list to eat at. read more

The wings are prepared perfectly... Very crispy outside- completely moist and cooked inside. The music is great the people are friendly, nicely decorated. BUT the wings have no flavor if you get one of the "rubs" like Lemon pepper (signature flavor) or the Ooh Wee. We dined in and got buffalo sauce to-go so we could re-flavor our left over wings at home. We figure you can't really go wrong with buffalo sauce... He charged us .89 cents for the smallest container of it tho. The ranch was even flavorless. They are a little over priced but comparable to WingStop. Bottom line- if you eat here order hot, buffalo, bbq, teriyaki -- any sauce... I just order wings with nothing and shake them in sauce myself when I get home. What's the point tho right? read more

Decent wings, a little heavily breaded. Prices are a little high for the value. I will say that the cheesy, bacon, ranch fries are amazing! The actual facility smells a little like sewage, and music is always SUPER loud outside. It's decent, but nothing out of this world. read more
