For a Thursday night it was certainly fun! The restaurant was decorated so beautifully with pink flowers blending so nicely with the dimly lit interior. I went out for late lunch with a friend and this place looks cool and quite nice ambiance. It happens to be my friend best places to eat some Jamaican cuisine. Appetizers I ordered was horrible, which doesn't make any sense to me, tastes awful like frozen and spoiled. Nope I cld not eat that. Tried the mussels, which was batter than my crab cake. Tasted fresh and delicious with dried out toasted bread. What happen to freshly baked toasted dough. I thought things cld get better with my main meal which was curry chicken with rice and peas, it was tasteless. And I was very disappointed and was ready to leave but the waiter never showed up for a long time. I would rate food nada for me, cool ambiance for hangout and service wasn't great as well. Pls, have ppl that cares about your business and are willing to put in their best while at work. I will not be going back and will recommend so you can experience yourself. Customer service stinks. I ordered food for pick up. I was told 20 minutes it took over an hour. They are on a busy street with bus lane. No explanation , just we working on It. wasted my time, I was very upset. People call and place an order for pick up because they don't have the time to wait. I literally went to the spot for happy hour specials on a tuesday, ordered shrimp tacos and rum punch. The tacos were literally ranch dressing and lettuce on a tortilla lmao they took one shrimp sliced into small and put on the taco. I asked the server and she said shrimp was in there. They took half a shrimp and diced it into small pieces for one taco. I was so disgusted black business really doing that to their own people. My friend said it was disgusting I couldnt even eat it. Most disappointing when you wanna support a new place and they cut corners trying to get over on people. I live close by and always get take out but decided to dine in this time so I can enjoy it hot and fresh. The food was good but not better than the classics like the curry goat and stew chicken, I also think it might have been made with dairy not coconut milk. The bar was full so I sat at a table, ended up paying up front because the menu prices are a little different from how much they really coast but they let you know that as soon as you walk in. I was very disappointed. It was about 9:30 at night and although I had stew least at home, I just wanted to pick up something quick and satisfying after the show across the street at the park. They told which meals were made to order and which weren't. I ordered a jerk pork because, supposedly, it was one of the options that should be serve and go. I waited about 20 minutes and as I waited, I couldn't help but to think that they were reheating it from the fridge. Surely enough, I got home and could tell that it was definitely reheated. It was luke warm and I could tell that's what they were doing. I'm a leftover queen so I was highly disappointed that instead of going home and eating my own leftovers, I got it from a restaurant and had to wait so long that I could've been home and eating my own food by then. Went here last night with a group of friends and family. Took 20 minutes for someone to come take our order, which never came. We were given a broken hookah pipe to smoke from. The waitresses attitudes were DISGUSTING. They were rolling their eyes and talking super low meanwhile the music was blasting so they KNOW its hard to hear. We sat for 45 mins and all we got was hookah! Never received our drinks or anything ! They had games behind the dj booth, we took it to play and then they proceeded to say games weren't allowed. Great service and friendly staff! We went there for fathers day. I ordered Curried Chicken with rice and peas and got their chicken soup.The chicken soup was out of this world. It wasn't good, it was great! The curry chicken was pretty good too. My sister ordered a fish dinner with rice and peas. She liked it too. The waiter Kim was fabulous and very accommodating. It was tasty and bursting with flavor. For dinner, I had the rasta pasta with shrimp and my friend had the jerk pork with rice and peas. The rum punch was strong and tasty and my friend enjoyed his hurricanes. The waitress, I don't remember her name, was friendly and attentive. The place itself is nicely decorated and bathrooms were clean! While dining, I saw a lot of ppl coming in for take-out orders, so I guess their take-out is just as good.
