I love Wild Fork!! Clean and the staff is enthusiastic, supportive and helpful. My review will be very minimal, but the Truffle and Mushroom Pizza has a delicate flavor and easily devoured. Stopped at the Manhattan Beach location to give it a shot. Impressive... Whoa. Picked up my first Category A-5 Japanese NY Strip ever. Do it once in your lifetime. You get what you pay for and it's a legitimate A-5 Wagyu. The package was $65 for the NY($119 per lb.) and it was enough for 4 servings. It is that rich and tender to another level. There is simply nothing even close to this. This would be $500 at a fine steakhouse if you could find it. The American Wagyu is great but not the same as this Japanese masterpiece. What you see in the photos is before and after sectioning. It is like nothing else you have had in your life. What is interesting is that it doesn't break down to being very expensive. There is no way you can eat more than 1/3 of it at one sitting. IT'S RICH. Don't be misled by seeing all of the marbling and thinking you are just buying fat. It is not connective tissue and it disappears/dissolves when you cook it. This is the pinnacle of red meat. Simple Salt and Pepper does the trick. No rubs, or anything to alter the flavor. I did mine on a piping hot cast iron pan with no oil. It makes it's own oil. You really cannot eat more than 5 oz. at one sitting. I'm all about medium/rare and I become a snob when it comes do doneness. Nailed the first piece medium/rare. Guess what... The second piece I cooked I did at medium(with color) to mix it up. I normally think cooking over medium rare is ruining a steak. Not the case here. It picked up even more flavor and there is not even one bit of chew with these steaks. As a joke I cut a few pieces with a soup spoon and no knife and it was no problem. Regarding the price... If you do the math, it's around $20 per serving. You simply cannot eat more than a little bit. Extremely rich and insane. DO IT! Staff was delightful and knew their stuff. It's spotless and well organized. Their seafood looks exceptional as well. If you can find this cut at a restaurant, it will be $300-$500. This is the real thing. I'm going back FOR SURE! Maybe today to get a ribeye if they have them available today. Do it. read more

Do not buy your meat here. We purchased burgers and found pieces of twigs in one of the patties. I reached out to the company and only heard back to so they could get information they needed about the package they were in. The customer service person, Santiago, then when on to ghost us when the conversation was about a refund! Because we made the purchase at an actual store and not on line - he washed his hands of us. Would not return any of my emails. We sent photos of the twigs and still no response. Really bad business. read more

Walked in expecting outrageous prices but was pleasantly surprised! Yes, they only sell frozen items but especially with seafood, that is often fresher and no different than what you get at the store (they just thaw things out). Erwin (manager?) approached me to see if i needed anything and was very helpful, professional and pleasant. The rest of the team at the registers was also very pleasant and the place is impressively clean. The selection of items is great! They carry items like crawfish tails FROM LOUISIANA at a fair price and much better than having to pay $20 for frozen shipping. Also found plantains (tostones) and a ground meats (including pork, and bison) in a variety of fat percentages which i often don't see in other grocery stores or butchers. I will definitely be back for my usual items as well as to try new ones! read more

I really enjoyed shopping for quality meat and fish at this store. It's a great location. They have an amazing selection. My favorite meats were the ground bison and the ground elk. It was a pleasure to speak with Shanti and her boss. We had a great conversation about the quality of the meat and how to prepare it. The customer service was excellent. Particularly with Shanti. There were several seasonings she recommended, but Firecracker seasoning was the best. I was expecting higher prices, but the prices aren't as high as I thought. Moreover, you can choose from a wide variety of specialty meats. My high recommendation goes out to this company. Shanti is wonderful and you should definitely see her. What an awesome person she is. This is the second time I have been in and this has happened. I was wandering around the store for about 10 minutes trying to find a pork loin roast being ignored by a lone employee, male, on his cell phone visiting with friends. Finally a female employee came out and I was quite verbal when I spoke to her, "Since he is too busy playing on his phone to notice customers, could you help me with something?" It was only then I was told they no longer carry it due to some supplier issue and how the animals were being processed was in violation with state law. It was interesting that I could order one on line. The two stars was because of her, otherwise he would have gotten one star because that is as low as I can go. read more

I ordered some sausages, wild king salmon, Alaskan halibut and a ribeye steak. The sausages were good. I am a fish snob, from Seattle, and know how to cook fish. Both the halibut and the king salmon were incredibly dry. Very weird for both types of fish cooked properly. The ribeye was grilled at high heat to medium/medium rare. It was tough; full of gristle and not very flavorful. I will not order again. read more

We went to Wild Fork after reviewing their website offering a large variety of meats and cuts you can not find at Costco or local grocery stores. We're very impressed by the store selection of wild caught seafood, game including elk, bison, pheasant and more, beef cuts (hanger steak, flat iron wagyu, etc.) and more. Don't be afraid of frozen meets. I work in the food industry and I know that most of this stuff comes shipped frozen anyways. When you go to your supermarkets, they will have thawed it out and put it behind some nice plastic on a styrofoam tray for you. By keeping it in these individually vacuum packed frozen format, this is your chance to enjoy the savings from not having to have someone store it and repack it for you. The other benefit is being able to wet age it in the in the package to your liking. There is a strong correlation with price and quality I noticed. For instance the picanha starts off at choice, then there's angus choice, then there's prime and wagyu. The more you spend the better it gets but the choice that's very affordable needs several days longer to age. Frozen is your friend, do not let the freezers fool you, this is how food is transported and most of what you eat has probably been frozen at some point. read more

So I decided to come in store to get the full experience but was immediately disappointed by their staff. Although the store was completely empty, none of their staff greeted us or even acknowledge us at any point. When checking out, no type of interaction was made, and the staff seemed annoyed.
