If we are going out for breakfast/brunch, this is the place we go. The one and the only! Of course, there is always a wait, but you can have a cup of their really good coffee (for free) in the meantime and walk around beautiful Westport Village should the weather permit. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, their Mimosas and Bloody Maries are incredible. And no other place has anything like their Creole Omelette, my all time favorite! read more

The owner must have a wife, ex-wife, mother, grandmother or other person whom he hates who loves hot tea. Coffee - as much as you want, no extra charge. A fresh tea bag - whole additional charge. And the tea is the same kind where Zeggz, First Watch, Cracker Barrel and Dennys, among others give you all the tea bags you want, and usually put and leave a whole selection on the table. read more

We visit at least twice a month and normally I would give 4 stars. Today's experience wasn't as good as usual but if they would make a few changes in procedure it would remedy these issues. My daughter got a chicken salad that was pretty and plenty - except where the dressing was concerned. The dressing was left off completely and then when it came there was one ramekin. That was barely enough for the top so she ate a small amount and we had to flag someone down to get more. My husband ordered steak and eggs. Even though he ordered MedRare, it was almost white in the center because it was so done. Since our server didn't check back once we had tasted everything there wasn't an opportunity to send back or say anything. I know people get busy and can't always get back but if you started giving two dressing servings and staying until the steak is cut that would have taken care of two problems even if the server gets busy. We'll still patronize Wild Eggs but would like to have a better experience for a breakfast that was over $100. read more

They have the best Bloody Mary's and the best cinnamon rolls! They have complimentary coffee while you wait to be seated and they always give you a big pitcher of lemon water with your meal. They can be extremely busy on weekends, but it's always worth it. read more

First time here and although a Saturday morning we were seated right away. They menu is extremely extensive compared to most breakfast places. They even other cocktails such as Bellinis, which is a nice way to start a morning. I can't tell you how they are, because this girl just needed coffee and I can tell you that was good. They also offer lunch items in addition to breakfast throughout the morning. The one thing that impressed me with the menu was the multiple vegetarian options. I give the owners and chefs credit for thinking of all dietary needs of their patrons. Now for the actual food... I ordered the veggie Bennie with potatoes and a side of vegetarian green chili. I have to say the food came out hot and our server was great, but that where it falls short. The food itself lacked and flavor. There was absolutely no seasoning it seemed. It was probably the most bland eggs Benedict I have had. I added salt and pepper ( which I never usually add to my food) and it still had no real affect. My husband ordered an egg, bacon, and stuffed French toast. The egg had no seasoning, bacon was average, and stuffed French toast he said was pretty good. Now our server was very good and they play good music. So overall our experience was good, except for the food...which is why we come. We are going to come back and maybe try some different items. We really want to like this place for multiple reasons. I think it's wiry trying and would love to here more feedback. read more

i have eaten at several wild eggs and generally like them, but today's server was the worst. he took forever to greet us, then rushed us through ordering, except when it got to the kids (6 and 9 years old). he asked the first if he wanted a side of bacon. we said no. he asked if he wanted a side of sausage. we said no. we explained that we already had helped them to pick out their orders and to simply let them order. then he asks the second child all of the same questions, which requires us to interject. again. except now BOTH kids are upset bc we are the bad guys...when in truth, the server was just hell bent on upselling kids on $2 additions. $5.58 for two cups of coffee that were mediocre at best. can't they brew better coffee at a breakfast place? the breaking on my country fried steak was coming off of where the item was underfried. whole dish made soggy. meh. "there's no rush but how many checks is this?" is rushing us when you've never asked how our food was. i won't be back. read more

This is easily my favorite brunch spot in town. I always love everything I get here. My husband loves everything here as well. They have such a great brunch menu. I could probably name 20 things on the menu that are absolutely delicious. This was my grandpa's favorite place to come for brunch, so it always reminds me of him. I love the biscuits and gravy. The chorizo gravy is sooo good. Recently I got the bagels and lox benedict, which was yummy! All the benedicts are great! My husband loves all of the southwestern brunch options. They have good coffee! But my favorite thing to get is their everything muffins! I always have one with brunch, and I always take one home. They're absolutely delicious. It's like an everything bagel but a muffin with just a hint of sweet. I think about these muffins... a lot. There's always a wait. We like to go toward the end of brunch. I know they're only a brunch place, but I wish they stayed open later because they're just that good. read more

We love breakfast for meetings for both our team and with clients. BUT, Wild Eggs is simply too noisey and management is beset with a full house most of the times, so they don't cater to any setting other than EGGS! Tables and chairs were being shifted last week all around us, we couldn't even think, must less talk. Even with our determined breakfast wishes for food, we felt disturbed, jostled, ignored - - won't return for awhile, probably not even for good EGGS, and yes, the food is good! We enjoyed the circular 'counter' just inside the entrance while having a late breakfast on a Monday morning. The breakfast burritos were good and were large. The coffee was good and ever-present. everything muffin! best muffin ever! i was in town visiting a friend, and she knows i'm a bruncher and she loves wild eggs, and made sure we were able to fit it into my trip. we got there about 9:30 on sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. no biggie, they had complimentary coffee up front, that was delicious, for while you wait. our waitress was super friendly and quick to take our drink and food orders. i had the Kelsey "KY" Brown. delicious. i had never had a hot brown before, and this was all crispy bacony, toasted up, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. i couldn't believe how good it was. my friend had the farmers market skillet, and she said hers was also amazing. that everything muffin that come with a lot of the dishes is so good, its like corn/poppy seed/garlic and all buttery. i've never had anything like it and i would love to find a recipe similar to it since i've never had brunch like that in chicago. my hot brown didn't come with one, but i took one home with me. overall, i can't wait to go visit louisville again and go to wild eggs for brunch. the food was so good, the service was super friendly, and it was under $25 for both of us for food and beverages. read more

This was my first time at this location but I love Wild Eggs! I got the Tripin Chikin crepe and I wish I had read more carefully... It was smothered in cheese and I was trying to be healthy as I was about to consume lots... I mean a few... sugary adult beverages at Churchill Downs. (I'm usually a biscuits and gravy girl). I scraped most of it off and it was pretty good. Our waitress was real nice. It was really busy and it didn't take long to get a table for seven. My only complaint is that one of my favorite friends got a dirty coffee mug... Ew. read more

After visiting the Breckenridge Ln location, we found this Westport Village location and I have to say that I definitely prefer it. The parking is a lot easier and surrounded by other awesome shops and restaurants. The service is always great and everyone is super friendly. We went with a party of 8 & a baby and they were extremely accommodating. I recommend the Creole omelette with a side of the "grits of the day" (today it had bacon and cheese in them...). Everything was great though so you really can't go wrong. read more

Nice spot for brunch in a cute little area. I've been to the Wild Eggs location downtown before and really enjoyed it. This location was just as consistently good. I shared pancakes and Mr. Potato casserole. The pancake was fluffy and the casserole was loaded with queso(Yum!). We asked to sub bacon for sausage on the casserole which was very tasty. Service was quick and attentive. They brought out a self serve carafe of coffee, which was way more than enough for one person. They even asked if we wanted a to go cup for the coffee (which had great flavor). We said sure and they brought out a fresh cup for us. This place definitely gets busy, although mother's day was less busy than I would have expected. It would be nice to be able to make reservations, as we were waiting about 35 minutes for a table. The great part about this location is there are cute boutiques to check out, although they are closed until 11 on Sundays. read more

I live right next to Wild Eggs so my fiancé and I find ourselves there quite often. It's amazing. I've tried several things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Yes, the everything muffin is amazing but don't short change their biscuits! They are great too. Be prepared to wait if you go at peak hours for breakfast or lunch, but just know that it's worth it. The service is always friendly and the place is always clean and comfy. Great artwork on the walls too. I brought a friend there from out of town once and the next time she visited she insisted on going back (especially for the everything muffin)! If you haven't been, go! read more

We went breakfast today and I got "kalamity Kate's" it was very good, I plan to take a picture but it didn't happen because I was hungry and it look so yummy so I started to dig into the plate. Each star is for the service, orange juice, and skillet potatoes. I got the breakfast burrito and was very disappointed. Maybe it's cause I'm from Arizona but when I get chorizo in my burrito I expect it to actually be in there instead of getting just plain eggs. Tortilla and fundido cheese overwhelmed everything. Maybe that's something the chef can do to improve it. Also, I asked for the pork Verde sauce over mine and it didn't happen, didn't complain at the time but that may have saved the meal for me. read more

This place is a Louisville must! It has a very unique menu and everything we have tried so far has been delicious. Any time we have family come and visit we always bring them to Wild Eggs. If you are going to go on the weekend I would recommend getting there EARLY so that if you have to wait it won't be too long of one. Plus if you go on the weekend you get free coffee while you wait. My husband and I enjoy the yellow submarine, hash and eggs, cinnamon roll, and the apple bourbon crepes. Go now if you haven't already! read more
