I had an excellent beard trim last week. Mine from JB and my bro from Dylan. We both enjoyed our experience there. My beard was shaped and cleaned up to perfection. I don't think another appointment was booked immediately after mine so I felt like extra time and care was put in. Cleaned up my neck line and didn't rush me. Good conversation. Nice new shop with great chairs. Everything looked very clean and organized. I will for sure be back. Takes a long time to grow a good beard and can be ruined with a bad cut. Not with these guys. First time at Wild Boar Barbers, and it wont be my last! Not having been here before I booked my appointment online with whoever was available. I'm always worried I'll get a barber with little experience or no clientele when doing so, but after spending a little under an hour in the shop I can tell you all the guys here do incredible work. Ben took proper care and attention to detail that I didn't have a single critique or complaint. His knowledge and precision are worth much more than the great prices they have. I take time to style my hair and after talking with Ben as he cut my hair he offered lots of tips and product suggestions to make my hair always look it's best. 10/10 would recommend. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My son is devastated. We just needed a trim. My sons hair is curly all one length about two inches long. We asked to just trim it maybe 1/2 inch all over. So basically requested the same haircut just a little shorter. Faster than I could stop him (Ben) took the buzzers to the back. Wr told him to leave the back the same length as it was already a little shorter than the back. I stood up and asked why and he said my son asked him to. So I thought he was just going a little shorter. Nope we left with a completely different haircut that isn't even. My son is crying and horrified of his haircut. He had been growing out his curls since December. I called to talk to the manager JB and he told me to calm down. And that Ben is an independent booth renter so he doesn't have any say over him. Wait what, why would you have someone so horrible renting a booth. Hair doesn't just grow back and kids get really self conscious so I would for sure think twice before booking here. Extremely disappointing and let's not forget its 45 dollars. I wish I could show a before and after somehow. And I would also like a picture of Ben's license. read more
