I then remembered meeting Bernie and having literally what was a 10-second conversation but in which I complimented her hair, and she mentioned she owned a shop. I called and they accommodated us same day, even though it seemed like a stretch to fit us in last minute. Edwin did an incredible job - he was meticulous, explained everything he was doing, and personable. I thought it came out so good that I ended up leaving with an undercut that rivaled the likes of the Pinterest picture I had selected on the spot. What I very much appreciated, was the fact they made us feel incredibly comfortable. Being two females walking into a barber shop can be kind of intimidating and we didn't get that vibe at all being there. Even the other customers were chatty and welcoming. We will definitely be back and recommend to others - plus Edwin said he can do Spiderman in the back of someone's head and at some point I will ironically take him up on that despite having no interest in Marvel comics. 5/5!

A few days prior to my son's 16th birthday, I decided to book him an appointment at a real…read morebarbershop, rather than the discount places that we usually go to (he historically has not cared too much about his hair, but that is starting to change.) The booking process online was very easy, and I was thrilled to see so many available slots on short notice. His appointment was with Elliott, and we arrived a few minutes early. My son was immediately taken back and, although I could not hear the conversation, it looked like they were discussing what he wanted done with his hair. My work was done-I got him here, now I get to sit back and wait. While I waited, I observed the shop. On the two main walls, you see giant, beautiful graffiti art. The colors are vibrant and it is really well done. This sets the vibe of the place-slightly edgy with a bit of an attitude. I counted five barbers, all with clients in their chairs. During our 30-40 minute visit, I saw 3-4 other guys walk in, all with appointments. I don't know if they accept walk-ins. There is a feel to this place that makes it more of a hang out than a mundane stop on your chore list. The people care about their clients-I saw so many fist bumps and half-bodied hugs I lost count. The music is upbeat and also a bit edgy. (If you shy away from colorful language, this might not be your place.) I also noticed that most everyone had a beard-staff (minus the female, of course) and clients alike. Lots of care was taken to make sure these dudes had amazing facial hair treatments. It almost made me jealous that I can't grow a magnificent beard like them. Almost. When we left, my son walked out of the shop looking more confident than when we walked in. He kept looking at himself in the mirror, obviously proud of his new look. From a mother's perspective, that makes me happier than most things. We'll be back.

They are not allowed to advertise one price and charge another. When I told the clerk those prices were not on their official website, she just grunted, "well, I'll tell somebody"! She said the prices changed two months ago. This type of operation is not acceptable.
