Cesar is the absolute best barber. I've been taking my 3 year old to Cesar since he was 1 and a half. I used to take him to a Cookie Cutters (especially for kids) but the haircuts were nowhere near what Cesar leaves my sons hair looking like. I also took my son to another barber at Trolley Square and that barber traumatized him because he cut his shoulder with the blade. Cesar is so patient with my son and he really takes his time to make his hair look perfect. I will never take him anywhere else! read more

Wow, I am really impressed by the incredible service and workmanship! I found these fellas via a Google Search using "shave and haircut" plus my zip code. Would have used Yelp search but it gives suggestions starting with businesses that paid to come up first and then you start with suggestions VERY far away, often in another city (hey Yelp, fix them shitz!). So, Google led me to many reviews of only 2 barbershops, both with great reviews, but the first was by appointment only and already closed for the day. So I phoned Cesar's and they said that they take walk-ins and to hurry on in. Had some trouble finding them mostly because of my cognitive & vision impairments, though a barber pole really would have simplified things... maybe they don't consider themselves barbers? I must admit that I now consider them very fine artistes. Anywho someone else had "walked-in" before I got there and both available chairs were taken. While waiting I was able to observe quite a lot in regards to their (Cesar & Adam) very gregarious personalities. Clearly, they both take great pride in their work. It was already late and they were still being really careful and seemed happy to have the customers, despite the late hour. I was too late for the shave, but Adam gave me the most thorough and gentle treatment that I've received from a barber or stylist in all of my 50+ years! Absolutely no exaggeration! You usually get your ears combed, neck nicked if shaved and a few hairs missed (especially behind the ears). As for missing the shave, I consider that my own fault for arriving less than an hour before closing. Just the same Adam (and Cesar) apologized and offered me a $5 discount on a shave if I chose to return for it. I liked these guys so much that I want to take them up on their most generous offer as soon as I'm able to get back there. I very highly recommend Cesar's Lounge for your next shave and/or haircut. read more

I have been going to Cesar's for 5 years and initially I was impressed with a young entrepreneur with talent. Cesar had one other chair cuts where $15/20 depending on who you go to. It isn't very Royal more or a dive barber shop. Heavy into Rap. Kind of an angry oppressed non-white man vibe. I didn't take offense white men can be POS. Today Cesar looks to get $35 for a cut ($25 for old customers). My experience with Cesar's in 2018 has been heading south. Even though I'm in every 5 or 6 weeks he can't remember my cut. Last night within 24 hours I was rescheduled 2 second time in 2 visits. After questioning why I was rescheduled by Cesar the 3rd time over 6 months and last of the 2 visits I told him I had a tight schedule with 2 doctors appointments and an early morning for 3 fillings today. It was tough for me. My 12:15 was out replaced with a 10:15 which I showed up 15 minutes for because I told him I needed to be driving to my dr. apt at 10:45. As it turns out he went 15 long into my appointment cutting 15 off the front and 15 off the back. I wasn't interested in a hack job and fortunately my dr. allows for an occasional reschedule the day of without being charged. So I stayed for the cut. I asked him if I needed to avoid certain days or times to avoid having my appointment canceled. Cesar took offense with my inquiring on how to avoid being rescheduled last minute in the future. I got it. Let it go. Once home I had this "Cesar here, one again I apologize for the inconvenience one more time, I don't feel like I am the one to blame for you missing your doctors appointment I gave you options to try to work with your schedule and my own. I appreciate you choosing your haircut over your doctors appointment. I do not appreciate how you chose to rub it in my face the way you did and questioned me. Demanding answers as if you were my wife or a detective. Barbering is what I do to provide for my family and any day my family is going to come first. We will no longer be taking you as a client of the barbershop, we can't have the unnecessary stress and accusations in the shop. we don't believe we are a good match for you. We wish you the best of luck out there thank you for your support." I'm thinking there are many people that would not be a good match either. Thought I needed to say something. After I moved to West Jordan, I've been looking for a new old-school style barbershop closer to home. I ended up finding Cesar's and glad I did. I walked in and both Cesar and David were really friendly. I got a haircut from Cesar and there was no wait. He did a solid job and I won't hesitate to go back. Stopped in to see my brotha, Vinny the Barber today and get a straight razor shave. Best shave you can get, hot towels and a sharp razor. They take their job seriously over here and it shows. Great service and the prices are low. It is always nice to see someone following their dream. So get down there and support the guys who are here to make you look good (and believe me they have their work cut out for them with me, also they make Jameson look good and that is no small task). I work a few blocks from these guys. I did a simple 'hair cuts' search on Google and their Yelp profile popped up. The reviews aren't lying. My mom used to take me 40 minutes to a barber on the other side of Denver when I was 8-15yrs old. It had a barber vibe, with older barber guys, Sports Illustrated magazines, etc. Cesar's is just a modern version of that same old school barber feeling. I wasn't a huge fan of the language in the music (the music itself was fine,) I just wouldn't be able to bring my kids here. However, the ambiance lets you know you're in a barber shop which is essentially just a place where guys go to talk about dude stuff and get a haircut. Cesar himself was busy, but a 2nd chair named Adam hooked me up. He was young but paid attention to detail. I get my head shaved with a triple 0 every time, and even though that sounds easy, any guy with a shaved head knows the devil is in the details. Adam clipped me up, made sure it was even and well lined, and got me the straight edge neck trim. If you're in this area, I highly recommend stopping by for a cut. I can't speak to all their prices but my head shave was $11 before I tipped. read more

I was in Murray and decided I would yelp it. I ended up here at Ceasars and I was really impressed. I have never had somebody put great precision and detail into my cut, but I now understand why Cesar is always getting booked. Caesar's no joke as a barber. There's a reason you've got to wait to get in. As good a job as he does with haircuts, my favorite part of his service are his beard trims. He razors my husband's beard line like a freaking champ! It's such clean lines, I wish he could get them every day! The folks he's got in his other chairs do a great job too--my husband has gone to both of them. I highly recommend this place, even if you've got to trek a little to get there. So at around 5:15 pm, I called Ceasar's to ask if they would be able to fit me and my brother in for a hair cut. The guy who answered the phone said there wasn't anyone waiting, the other barber's chair was open and they start their last hair cut at 6:30. Me and my brother showed up at 5:45, just a half hour after my phone call. As we entered, neither of the barbers greeted us they barely acknowledged our presence. One barber spoke up to the man, woman and 2 teenage boys, asking "who else in here is a walk-in?" Seconds later the other barber said "yeah it looks like we're full for the day." Without a word, me and my brother walked out. We were never given a proper greeting nor an apology for being too busy to help us. As someone who works in the service industry as a Restaurant Supervisor and Bartender, I don't believe we were given acceptable customer service. It saddens me to write this review as I looked forward to getting my hair cut at a business with such a high Yelp Rating. read more
