Stopped into Wild Açaí in Montrose today and so glad I did! The whole area is adorable, with fun little shops to browse, and the shop's decor fits right in. I went in around 8:20 pm on a Friday night. I ordered 2 small açaí bowls with toppings. The bowl had way more toppings than açaí. It had the thinnest layer of açaí and I paid $11 for each! I thought that was a big ripoff!! This store is dedicated to açaí, but we hardly received any. My partner and I sat outside and they flipped the open sign to closed, and it was only 8:30. After I ordered, I was told they were out of mangoes but saw they were making a mango smoothie for another lady who ordered after me. It's okay because I'm flexible so I chose pineapple. The best-tasting açaí around, but they've noticeably cut back on the actual açaí. Now it's just a thin layer at the bottom, with the rest of the cup loaded with toppings. We had to drive back from home to ask for a remake or a refund. Initially, we didn't mind, but being met with rudeness and gaslit into believing it was made 'right' was completely uncalled for. My new favorite acai bowl shop in the area! I've been here a few times and love that the acai doesn't melt too easily and that I can choose my own toppings. I LOVED this place for their acai - it's one of the bests out there for acai. It's a cute shop with a claw machine and tables inside and outside. However, I'm knocking some stars off - I'm not sure if they changed ownership, but the are putting less acai into their bowls (but same price). They used to fill it up all the way to the top with all the toppings, but the last couple times when I went, it seems like they were giving me half the acai than usual. I noticed the regular girls that were working their consistently is no longer there as well. I was really impressed with how good the bowls were. they have several standard options on the menu but if you want something different, you can also customize it.
