The employee had piled us in so close together that they were not able to stop the belt until 4 cars had been involved in the pile up. We were the third of four cars and hit the car in front of us 3 times. We were covered in soap and could not see what was happening. When they finally stopped the belt the employee went to his manager. He asked us all to drive out of the car wash to assess the damage and gather information. To make matters worse, they told us we would have to go through the carwash again to wash off the soap or there would be damage to our vehicle. Going back through was the last thing I wanted to do. Today (four days later) we received a call from corporate stating it wasn't the car wash's fault and we would need to file a police report and go through our insurance. I am not sure how this can be our fault as we were inside the car wash in nuetral, covered in soap with zero visibility when the pile up occurred.

I finished washing as usual and prayed and hoped that none of the nails got into my tires... 3 weeks later, I had routine maintenance for 25k on my car and the dealership called me at work to tell me that THERE WAS A NAIL IN MY TIRE and that the location of it made it irreparable, and given that my tires were 2 years old at that point, I wasn't able to just replace one tire; I had to replace ALL 4 TIRES for a total of $1200. I guess I even had to count myself lucky that with my daily commute on the freeway to and from work, I didn't experience a blowout or car accident! I tried contacting the owner of this car wash to tell him about what happened. I didn't even request him to cover part of the cost of the damage, nor did I threaten him in any way. I simply wanted to make him aware of what happened. However, no response after over 2 months, and this is why I'm writing this review. I understand that someone other than the owner was the person who dumped all those nails on the ground, BUT I expected at least a text back from the owner saying sorry or that he went and fixed the issue at the car wash by inspecting the facility more often. Still nothing back from him, and I am now terrified to bring my car back to Timpview Car Wash. It's really too bad, because I really liked the concept of hand-washing my car; I don't like automated car washes due to the scratches they put on my last car.

The lack of a star is due to the back of my van still being dirty. Around the logo, license plate and back of my window of my Toyota sienna was still very dirty. I don't think my car was so dirty that it couldn't be cleaned as it was just as dirty all around the car, I believe the equipment just didn't get to those spots as well as everywhere else. Third, they have free car mat cleaner, they only car wash that I know of that does this, they have free soda for patrons, free water sprayer inside so your kids can spray passing cars and they also have a playground area. I'm telling you that this is THE place when it comes to car washes and they have my loyalty for life because of their standards.
