I started of with the owner as my dentist and then I guess he quit doing dentistry (Well Basic Dentistry) so I got a new dentist. Didn't ask for one! Well today I got another new dentist same office and didn't ask for one. Also a car got broken into right in front of there office right before my appointment. So while setting in the chair for my cleaning I kept wondering if my car was getting broke into. NOT A GOOD FEELING! But I will keep going there for my oral appliance every so often I guess.

I am new to the area and Evergreen has a an easy location to get to. They were very helpful and friendly when I called to schedule. I have a busy schedule, but they were able to find a time that worked great for me. Since this was my first time to their office, and I haven't had x-rays in a while, I had a full exam and x-rays with Dr. Richard Smith and his dental assistant. Sometimes the xrays are a little uncomfortable, but the assistant worked quickly and efficiently and it was actually pretty easy. Luckily I didn't have any major issues, but Dr. Richard still took the time to look over my teeth and get to know me. Very professional and very welcoming experience. Their hygienist, Sheryl, did the teeth cleaning. She was great, super friendly, quick but thorough. It was my first visit, but it felt like Sheryl had been cleaning my teeth for years. It's hard to find a new dentist. The team at Evergreen was excellent and they did great work. I feel great to have a Dr. Richard Smith and team taking care of my dental health. I highly recommend this clinic.

They never make me feel like I'm bugging them even if I have feel like my concerns might be a little neurotic. No person in their right mind gets excited about a dang dentist appointment as if it was a B-Day party, not even with Dr. Sonia. HOWEVER, knowing she is yours and that she is very friendly, personable, sympathetic as well as an empathetic dentist, will and should keep your anxiety pretty much at bay prior to appointments. She patiently explains what she is doing or going to do (options detailed). I get hugs every time she comes in before she gets started and she ask how your doing. Shots (i.e those terrifying injections)--she is very concerned about minimizing as much pain and discomfort as she can and THAT is what makes or breaks a dentist for me. If you relax--and trust her (which she works to gain), she can move a needle around in her 'intended' injections sites- like a dang Ninja (most times) and the times where you might feel something--even that when it's over...you will say "was that it??" Her staff (especially Ms. Jaime whom booked my 1st appointment after she convinced me that I would be in good hands) all that I have came in contact with--are very nice. Very. Now they're very busy ladies so they really don't have chunks of time for 'winded chit chats'. So don't be gettin' all overly sensitive saying they are rude. Be reasonable. They do have to provide attention Dr. Pals other patients as well. Ok...where was I? Oh! Yes--Ms. Amy, Ms. Susan (who always take care to numb me up good with that 'topical-gel stuff' before my injections because of my fear) and Ms. Kristy--all terrific. Great ladies. The gal said I wasn't scheduled for a cleaning that day, just a check-up. What a waste of my time! Instead of apologizing for my inconvenience and trying to make things right, the receptionist got defensive and said she didn't know who made the appointment but they must have made a mistake. Well, she made the appointment and it was her mistake (I recognized her voice). A terrible experience! I moved on to a dentist in Issaquah where I had a perfectly lovely experience with a competent receptionist and staff.

Cleanings Twice a year religiously, fillings, chipped teeth all services at Pak's office. Long story short, my Insurance offered a special at another office to get crowns with no out-of-pocket cost to me. Pak wanted $1000+ for crown work. I got the crown done at the other office yet still went back to Pak for all my other dental needs. YEAR+ after I had the new crown at the other office and RETURNED for several cleanings at Dr. Pak''s office. He decided that I should go back to the other office to resume my dental Care. I'm not sure if he felt disloyalty or the loss of money or ? For decades, I enjoyed the staff at his office. They are fabulous. I've known his hygienist since High School. I can't recommend him for the way I was treated. I'm not a rich man so I'm pretty sure anyone else would have taken a free service over paying $1000's of dollars. He doesn't seem to feel that way. ‍

Crowns for my implants are scheduled for this summer. The majority of my teeth were crowns that were 30-40 years old. I met with Dr. Hodges and we assessed how best to approach my failing crowns while at the same time, giving me a dazzling smile that I secretly longed for all of my life. He is a fabulous technician as well as an artist. I had a vision for how I wanted my smile to look and believe me, I got EXACTLY what I hoped for. The process was key to getting the final result I wanted. Dr. Hodges created "provisionals" so that I could have time to adjust to the proposed new teeth I would have at the end. We added some length to my front teeth, added bulk on the side teeth for fuller smile, and brightened the color. Every time I see myself in a mirror, I am surprised and thrilled by my new look.
