This is very sad that I have to give this place a 1 star. I had been coming to this place since 1978. It was so beautiful and well kept for years. I even got married there on the dock in 1995. We stayed in the cottage. It used to be an ice house. It is leaning so bad now you feel like you are going downhill. They put bunkbeds in the already small bedroom. There is still a queen bed in there, and a table I don't quite understand why it is there.
When the new owners took over they drove it right into the ground. Not well kept up at all. They give you 2 complementary kayaks to use for the week but we did not get the life vests until the end of our time there. They came out and put them out without saying anything. The dock is leaning into the water so you do not feel safe on it. It is not pet friendly (It was always before) Not sure why you can not bring animals to this rundown place.
I really wish this would have been a better experience. This property has so many memories for me. read more
