You can't beat Das Wienerschnitzel. They always hit the spot. Perfectly salted fries and somehow super good chili/chilifries/chili dogs. Always a good cheat food day spot, even if every day is a cheat day ;) One too thing about them, is their ice cream machine is never broken. I grew up with the polish sando and fries, which was always a must have but now I've refined my taste, with a few chili dogs and a chili cheese fries. There's just something about their chili on everything that can't be beat, especially for a fast food chain. Don't sleep on Da Wienerschnitzel. I believe they have a few seats inside but I think they've perfected the drive thru, with their friendly and speedy service. As long as you enjoy basic hot dog type foods, you will not be unsatisfied with your food. Every time I'm there the staff is absolutely amazing! The only thing I could say that I've been unhappy with is the fact that they charge so much for a flipping hot dog, and a basic turkey dog at that. Then they want an up charge for all beef dogs! Very unprofessional handling of online delivery order. I realized I didn't request straws for my drinks (you normally don't need to do this anywhere else) so I asked the driver to get me some. The driver asked for them on my behalf and the employee refused to give to the driver because they're not allowed to give out straws if it's not requested with order? What asinine policy is this? I have never even heard of any restaurant doing this. Not only you have to request straw with the order and if you ask, they wouldn't give it. They really expect you to eat the shake with a spoon. Management needs to train their employees better because they lost a customer over some straws. read more

4 years later, back for hubby to have his beloved hot dog. He went inside and said service was good. Ordered 2 all beef hotdogs this time (not the cheap ones like last time). I had a bite. Not bad! At all! We like onions (freshly diced), mustard and a bit of ketchup on them. Staff ask you what you want and they do it for you! Quick snack for him and he loved it. Wish the coupons included all beef hot dogs. Also wish they would wrap them in foil so they would stay warmer instead of in a box. We will be back, I am sure. read more

She thinks nothing of yelling at customers, arguing with customers and treating them rudely. I have been a victim of her verbal vomiting and witnessed her berate others. My wife went through today and she's been extremely anxious about her C-section tomorrow but the employees were super nice to her, cheered her up and turned her anxiety around. Wienerschintzel is the world's largest hot dog chain restaurant. They've been around since 1961. This location has not been here that long. Maybe at least 5 years? I don't know. What I do know is that this branch has indoor dining! That was not a common theme back in the day. That is a plus for this location. Another plus is the service that I have received here. Each time, the staff has been very kind and helpful. They also do a good job of keeping the dining area spic and span. I like coming here for their chili cheese fries. Their chili cheese fries have me coming back every so often. Not a fan of their hot dogs, but they are okay. Their Tastee Freez shakes are decent, but can't really recommend them either. Worth trying especially if you have one of those coupons they send in the mail. They may not be the best fast food place, but they are good for the value. 3 stars overall. read more

It was a busy day so no time for me to cook and chili dogs was something everyone could agree on . I usually get the funny guy Danny at the ordering window which the kids love because he's hilarious and always gives us great customer service . Today we got Letisha I hadn't even seen her yet but as I was ordering a large amount of food she was so sweet and very patient I just love that especially when the teenagers keep adding to the order and changing it . When we pulled up to the window we were greeted with a big friendly smile from her and to me customer service is just as important as the food . Another employee Ree- Ree helped hand us all our bags and yes there was quite a few " teenagers eat a lot " she was awesome too !! Ok so now to the 20 chili cheese dogs , 4 kraut dogs and 4 corn dogs .... The chili cheese dogs were hot and fresh and yummy and packed neatly in the bag and the corn dogs are always good . Everyone tried the strawberry lemonade that Letisha mentioned was new at the speaker , wow it's really good and refreshing ! From my experiences this one generally takes quite a while to serve their food, but the service I've experienced was normally friendly. This time, the cashier was very polite and patient. I was attending a strength competition to observe and walked here to get a hot dog (I know). I ordered the "junkyard", which was topped with chili, mustard, and french fries. It hit the spot, kinda, was cheap, kinda, and satisfied me, kinda. I feel really bad for adding to the pool of average reviews of this place but it's definitely not that bad, if you are hungry and only have a few dollars.
