Pricing structure changed and now they have to quote you a price while on site. Used to be a flat fee for areas treated, now they charge by the square foot and any heavy traffic areas. Other companies do not charge for special areas or pet stains. Don't know about you, but I would rather not be surprised about the charges after I wait for them to get here. read more

The worst company for carpets. Disgusted! They tried to cover stains I asked them to remove with my furniture. NEVER AGAIN will we use them.

I will never do business with them again. They are very unprofessional. I had a cleaning scheduled for a Monday evening. I was in the final stage of readying my house to put on the market to sell. The plan was for the carpets to get cleaned, then I meet my real estate agent with her cameraman to take pictures for the listing. Widmer's was scheduled for between 4 and 6pm. I get a call at 3pm stating that the guy may not be able to make it due to a dentist appointment. Lame and unprofessional. I explain my situation and then he assured me that he'll be there by 6pm. He never showed up. I call and speak to the manager the next day who at first acts like he could give a rat's behind but then after explaining how he put me out and put out my real estate agent and the camera crew, he got a little more sympathetic. He assures 'll me they'll be there that evening by 5:30pm. No apology, nothing. So, I state that I think I should be compensated with a discount for all the trouble. I was thinking maybe 10 or 20 percent but was shocked when he came back with 50 percent off. I was less angry at this point. The manager offers me his cell number as they close at 6pm, I ask him to text it to me since I'm driving to work and he agrees. Never got the text. More unprofessionalism. That evening 5:30 comes and goes, I get a call at 6pm stating he was stuck in traffic and would be right there. He finally shows up at 7pm which is an hour and a half later than promised. To be fair, he did a good job but it was too little too late. I will never recommend and will go out of my way to prevent anyone I encounter from using Widmer's. read more

We had a recent visit by Widmer's Carpet Cleaning service. Ellis was our technician and he provided excellent service. First, he called me a half hour or so to let me know he was on his way to my home. He arrived as he stated and was most professional in his demeanor. He first inspected the areas that needed to be addressed and asked he if there were other needs or issues with my carpet. I will say he was thorough and careful in all aspects of the service call. Additionally, Ellis is one of the most positive individuals I have ever met. His positive mood and demeanor was outstanding. I highly recommend Widmer and most of all, Ellis. For sure the worst company that I ever hired a service. I hired their service because I moved to a new home and my wife was coming from a surgery and we needed the house disinfected, carpets cleaned. So I meet their work at the home, left him alone there, asked to call me when he had finished the work so I could go there to lock the house, guess what he never called and after 4 hours I decided go there to check, he never answered the phone and we were still finding a lot of hairs and dirty in our carpet. I called them, they said someone else would come to re do the job but nobody came back to and neither explain why nobody showed up. Completely disgusting their work, if you need a carpet cleaning... one thing... don't go Widmer's Carpet Cleaner, for sure! read more

These guys did great on our carpets! We hadn't had them cleaned in 2 years and they had some pet stains and some discoloration from where computers were sitting. The Widmer's guy told us that there was a possibility they wouldn't be able to get the stains out. Luckily they all came out. They did a really great job and we will definitely be using them again in the future. read more

Carpet feels cleaner. There are a few spots at the entrance to rooms with lighter carpet and on white carpet which might have needed extra care. I was hoping that these sites would have shown a bit more improvement. Getting out stains was my primary objective when scheduling the cleaning. Terrible experience! After having amazing service from Widmer's in dry cleaning for over 20 years, they were the first that came to mind for carpet cleaning or a rental property Appointment was made for the late afternoon. The tech called the day of service to ask me to come several hours early, so I dropped what I was doing to get there and let them in. Both techs told me they were so happy they would be finished early that day. Since the appointment time had changed, I had other appointments, so left them in the vacant rental property to clean. When I went to check on things the next day, it was clear they had done NOTHING! Carpet was still stained, no marks on the floor from the equipment, etc. I went to Kroger and bought some carpet cleaner and easily got up the stains so I know they did not clean the carpet. I spoke to the supervisor and he offered me half of my money back because he "still has the expense of the van and the equipment" as if that's my problem. I paid $60 for NOTHING! These 2 techs wanted to go home early and the did not clean the carpet!! read more
