Coast 2 Coast BBQ ~ Food Truck ~ Maricop AZ…read moreApril 22, 2023 Saturday - 7 PM for dinner 2 Adult Atmosphere - N/A stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - We went to the Copa cultural night market at Copper Sky. They had a lot of food trucks tonight. What a fun night, this was the second time they had this event. Third one will even be better!! Atmosphere - They are a really a food trailer, but you get the idea, a mobile restaurant. Not rating as it really a box on wheels. Food - Brisket is my BBQ choice, would have ordered a half pound if it was on the menu. Instead I went with the sandwich. All sandwich topping were on the side, pickles, fresh jalapenos, onions. The bark and smoke on the meat was beautiful. I thought the meat was a tad bit dry, my wife thought it was fine. Looking back at my pictures I think I got the leaner cut of the brisket. Do not work just dunk that sandwich into that BBQ sauce and everything is good in the world. Okay clearly I cannot read a menu. I had to re-write my review before I posted. I write them in Word first. Looking at my pictures I see the 1/2 lb order of brisket under the Meat Plates, not the Meats by the Pound. $19 with two sides with the meat, yes please. Service - I like how they have a menu board away from the trailer. You do not have to wait till the last second to find your item to order. We did not have an issue with it. Saw others having an issue with the menu board location. They have a cashier off to the side and some people went to order at the trailer. Instead have the board near the cashier instead of the trailer. I think that would create a better flow. Future - MEAT PLATE YES!!

My friend and I were excited to try out Plaza Bonita, we are senior citizens and absolutely love…read moreHispanic/Mexican cuisine. Tonight we decided to give Plaza Bonita a try. No one was at the counter when we arrived so we waited to be seated. The young woman who seated us was pleasant. Our waiter arrived 3-5 minutes with chips and salsa, I requested salsa verde which took 5 minutes and had to be asked for again. The waiter returned 5-7later took our order and returned 5 minutes later with our drinks. Then the white family of five arrived and were seated in the booth behind us. Immediately our waiter was there taking their drink order. The bus boy hurriedly brought them chips and salsa. Within 3 minutes their orders were taken and given to the kitchen. My friend and I began to worry what was the hold up with our order, our waiter rushed by with a drink order lower his head to avoid eye contact or any acknowledgment. Guess what happened next the white family received their order I told my friend I am out! No way was this acceptable. As we were leaving the greeter thank us for coming stop mid sentence when she realized we were never served. My friend ask to speak with the manager , the manager was our waiter. I am not sure why we were treated so poorly, we are quiet and respectful. We patiently waited for our order. The manager decided that we need to wait til he served the white family that arrived after us first, I feel like this money is green and the color of your skin should not be a factor. If you don't want certain ethnicity to come to your restaurant then you should relocate to a place that does not have a diverse population. In closing I would say if you don't mind being treated like shit go to Plaza Bonita! Disrespect is served in abundance!
