They were recommended to me by my regular car service guy when my car needed transmission work. They told me up front that they didn't rebuild Subaru CVT transmissions but they were happy to put one in that I supplied. They checked the transmission out, replaced the seals and filter, installed and tested it. I had to drive 30 miles to get to their shop and if I had to drive 100 I would do that. They fixed it almost 3 years ago ( our anniversary is 9/27) and on the way back from New Jersey - our transmission gave way again - and let me tell you, we were concerned about how to handle this. Mike was amazing - he didn't balk at all (at least to us) when he had to find a place that was as close as he could get to where we were brokedn down - Cherry Hill NJ - and that would take us in and handle diagnosing and fixing whatever transmission problem it happened to be. (I will yelp about Mike's Transmission in Collingdale PA too). Mike's Transmission in PA worked well with us and with FNA and although we had to stay in NJ for a few days, we were happy to get our van back. I could wait all day if I wanted went somewhere else they fixed it in five minutes. Turns out they forgot to calibrate the tires , no surprise there. They used to be very easy to deal with the woman. There is usually extremely nice and knowledgeable very organized. Everything is so chaotic now they have two sets of appointments, one online one in this little notebook who knows which one they're taking and that guy at the front desk is beyond rude. He's a hustler.

The representatives at the counter have no discretion and customer service is not in their vocabulary. If you fail to take care of your customers, there are others that will. I had a terrible encounter with the business owner Jim. He was extremely rude, curt and not customer friendly at all. After an unpleasant dialog over the phone , he told me that if I didn't get my car off his lot immediately that he would charge me storage fees. I walked to the business and waited around for him to return and collected my keys. He didn't even have the courtesy to apologize nor care. If I could rate my encounter a zero I would have. I would strongly encourage others to think twice before considering using this business purely from the customer service aspect alone.
