We did a quick trip to Cherokee and was promptly seated. Our server was patient with us We split the chicken tenders and chicken wings - both were seasoned well and crispy. The chicken tenders were exceptional! Definitely worth a visit and try their IPA's. . read more

Good service! Lots of nice cold beer. 18 beers on tap! Great place to visit while at the casino! read more

My wife and I tried this restaurant while at the casino and we were impressed! The food was amazing and the staff was very polite. The restaurant was very clean as was the tables and chairs. The restaurant is directly above the center stage bar so you can hear the band while eating. The portion sizes are generous compared to what you may find at other casinos. We had the BBQ sampler with 3 meats and two sides. The smoked turkey was not dry as with some I have tried. There are plenty of sauces on the table. I would recommend trying this location. read more

Excellent customer service at the bar. I enjoyed Prosecco while my boyfriend enjoyed a flight of 4 beers. The bartender was kind enough to give him a sample of one of the beers that he didn't have in his flight. The space is nice with lots of seating at the bar and tables. read more

As to be expected in a casino, never as good as the original. Food seemed rushed and thrown together, edible but definitely tasted mass produced. The beer is the only saving grace of this location, BUT very overpriced (casino). Brisket melt- all i have to say is less bbq sauce, more brisket! Meat was overly sweet and drenched in sauce. Menu says sliced brisket but this came out pulled (almost shredded) and tasted very much like pulled pork. Cheese was a "craft single", not that i mind but it wasnt melted. Fries seemed like they would be decent if they were hot and seasoned. Overall this was a lackluster meal held up by good beer and decent service. Pretty quiet on a weekday evening. read more

We sat at the bar for a round of drinks in the afternoon and chatted with the bartenders and then came back later that evening for dinner. Food was good. Food was served hot and service was spot on. Considering we were at Harrahs Casino the prices weren't that bad. Would definitely come back here. read more

First time eating here at the cherokee resort. The beer selection is large and has some nice choices. We ordered the korean bbq wings, sliders, and jalepeno poppers. Came to the coop this evening for dinner. Never got greeted. The bartender yelled from the screen what did I want to order. Got my menus myself. Got my straw myself. Ketchup from some other table. We liked the food but service surrendered it to be a negative experience. The servers were just inconvenienced by us and we aren't hard to please at all. It was a male and female. Not a crazy overloaded crowd to serve either so I'm very unsure why they are SO unfriendly. read more

There were 3 of us, we all got something different and everything was great. Our food was served rather quickly and they were pretty busy so no complaints but ... 1 BIG turnoff. I don't think it's necessary for the server to tell the customers/us that you need to run to the bathroom because you haven't had a chance seriously I don't give a F. And to add to it & top it off come back to our table and explain that y'all don't have a restroom to go inside the restaurant, we're in a casino restaurant. o.M.G!!! Totally & inappropriate & completely unacceptable. The great thing our food was brought to us by someone other than our server & while she was on her potty break. Look as long as your tables were covered do what you gotta do BUT DON'T TELL US. Less is more, besides we would have never noticed, she wasn't gone that long. Disgusting ps .. the restrooms were just feet away from the entrance read more

3 because it's a gorgeous space, the beer is amazing & the staff is fantastic. The food left a lot to be desiried. These wings were the tiniest wings I've ever seen. The fish "platter" has more sides than fish. I would return if only for a beer, but the food is a HARD NO. read more

I ate a turkey salad here on Friday 11/5. I've felt horrible since Saturday morning. Monday 11/8 I am extremely sick and it's too delayed to be food poisoning, so possibly looking at e-coli! Please beware! read more

The pretzel appetizer is so small... it was a plain pretzel with no salt. Everyone said it was really good but not sure I would recommend for a large group. The sample appetizer is okay- just fried food so can't really mess it up. We ordered the deviled eggs and they did not come with the rest of the appetizers... it took about 40 minutes more. The cocktails were the best part of this experience, the sake berry was super cute. The bartender brought it out and made it at the table:) my peach cocktail was pretty good too- wish it was in a cuter glass. The live music was good but slow, I was expecting it to me a little upbeat on a Saturday night! It took over an hour to get our entrees! This was okay but honestly, just go to Ruth's Chris or Guy Friers restaurant at the casino. I'm sure the service, drinks, and food is way better! read more

Conveniently located in the resort by the casino. But this restaurant was not my vibe at all. We ordered the nachos which were not good. It wasn't nachos but potato chips with cheese. We were hungry after all we did drive 12 hours and we did pick at it, but nope we couldn't eat it. After that I kept it small and ordered a side cesar salad. My friends didn't order any food after this. If you can't get nachos right then they didn't want to take the risk. Wait no I'm lying one my friends did order an shrimp po' boy and she said it was okay. We were a party of like 18 and the service was good. They were a bit overwhelmed I felt but they did a good job and were constantly checking in on us. read more

First off, I wanted the New Brunswick stew that is on the menu but they apparently only had a chicken noodle soup which was not in the menu. So opted for the Shrimp and grits which were good but small in portion. Then went to order 2 different beers from the menu which were out. Bartender was helpful, just frustrated that several things on the menu were either not as advertised or not available. read more

Let me start off by saying .. on all my reviews.. burgers are not my go too. I prefer a home made burger but I seen on someone's tic tok this awesomeness and decided I want to try it. I got the double smash to go! I never thought I could eat the whole burger but devoured every bite.(I took there sauce off and added Mayo. They had an area set up for bar service and to go. Although I ordered there I peaked inside and seen how big it was and they had a band in. Loved the atmosphere and vibes to where I would come again and eat inside. Sorry no photos read more

The ambiance was enjoyable. We sat at the bar. We were able to watch basketball on the TVs. The service was good. The food was mediocre. We first ordered an appetizer that had good flavor but came out cold. Tots, pork, cheese, sauce... felt like everything was cooked way earlier in the day and just left under a heat lamp. We sent back the app. It didn't come back out til after our meals did. My husband's hamburger was dry and room temp. He said he had good flavor. But again, imagine they cooked a bunch of patties up at once and just slapped one on your sandwich from hours earlier. We were less than impressed with the food. read more

We arrived at Wicked Weed inside the Harrah's Cherokee casino around 6:00 on a Friday night. We had tickets to see Fluffy's comedy show and stopped in for dinner beforehand. Other restaurants inside the casino had stupid long wait times, but Wicked Weed was able to seat us right away. We were sat at a table directly in front of the entrance. The ambiance was elegant, yet LOUD. They had a singer/guitarist performing, and I wished they'd turn down the speaker a bit. I had a difficult time maintaining a conversation with my husband and it felt like we were at a concert instead of a restaurant. Our server was polite, but it did take her quiet a while to take our order and she wasn't consistent on keeping our drinks filled; probably could've been a bit more attentive. It was a busy Friday night, so we cut her some slack. The fried deviled eggs were freaking delicious. So good. I'd go back there just for that appetizer alone. I ordered the burger (which wound up being too spicy for me to eat) and my husband ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare. We wound up swapping entrees so I could eat something, and the steak was phenomenal. A little on the chewy side; felt like the cut of meat could've been better for the price. ($62 steak) Overall, we recommend this establishment. We were happy with our experience. Ambiance Cleanliness Wait time Service Food Price Location read more

This is within the casino resort, and is situated where the old poker room was. Nice unassuming place with decent drinks options. The restaurant was clean, service was great and food was delicious. Party of 6 and we all enjoyed our meal there. We will be back!

The place was empty and the service was still awful. The chicken fingers are the frozen bag kind, and the "wedge salad" is literally lettuce, parm and a ton of croutons. 20 dollar cocktails and we watched the bartender pour in less than a shot. Yikes. read more

Service was good. Ambience was cool. Bar was packed. Music was good. My family got the catfish po' boy, tachos, kids tenders, bbq quesadilla and the pulled pork sandwich. Portions were large. Sweet tea was really good. Definitely go back to try other menu items. The decor is really cool. read more

Just a lot went wrong. We have been here before but the food quality and service has really gone down hill. To start we ordered wings for the table of four but no one left plates. I had to find our server in their pantry and ask for plates. I had the bbq platter. The brisket was dry and the smoke turkey was like jerky. They also ran out of ribs. Who runs out of ribs when you are supposed to be a bbq joint ? The fried okra was burnt. My husband got the corn and chicken salad. It had about two tablespoons of corn and he has to search for the chicken. Just a really bad experience and the food was terrible. read more

This is no longer Wicked Weed. It's the Soco Smokehouse and not nearly as good in most areas. They've always had slow service, but this time it was the worst. When she did show up, she continued to ramble on about how long she worked there, how tired she was, and showing us pictures of her dog??? The kitchen staffer that brought our food just dropping the trays on the table and left, no talking, didn't ask if everything looked correct, just dropped and left. Another table asked that same person if they could send their waitress over and her answer was, "I'm sure she will wander back soon." The food was also disappointing. We ordered a two meat platter with two sides. The sliced brisket tasted like fatty roast beef. You need the Wicked Weed cook to train the folks on how to cook brisket. It Should Not Taste Like Roast Beef!" Not nearly smoked enough. The smoked sausage and tater tots were okay, but nothing to write home about. I'm happy to say that the Mac and Cheese was nice. Very cheesy with a little spice. Well executed. They also lost most of the Wicked Weed brews on tap. It an area where's there's a dozen BBQ restaurants a stone's throw away, mediocre BBQ and crappy service ain't going to bring people back. read more

This place was ok. I really didn't think the food was that great. I had a side salad and gazpacho soup which tasted like salsa. Is that what gazpacho tastes like? I don't know, it was my first time trying it. My boyfriend had the steak and he asked for it to be cooked rare, they knew exactly what rare was. Unfortunately it was mooing too much for my boyfriend and he returned it and asked for it to be cooked to medium. He did apologized profusely. It wasn't the chef's fault. The waitress was great. She was absolutely wonderful. No complaints about her and the ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. The restaurant was very nice, open airy nothing high class though, thought it was a bit over pricey, nothing a really good Mom and Pop shop couldn't put out with a cheaper cut of meat. Of course, the restaurant was real flashy with high-end decor nothing extravagant. Nothing to write home about. read more

Wow. I did not expect this good of food at a casino. The burger was cooked to perfection and so moist. It had those crispy edges that make you want to come back for more. Service is top notch. read more

This place was shockingly disappointing. First, the lady at the hostess stand was very unfriendly. She didn't speak a single word to me. She appeared to treat all of the other customers the same. Secondly, the food wasn't even remotely fresh, and the quality was considerably subpar. Simply put, my dinner was packaged food that had spent a bit of time under a heat lamp before making it to my table. My final issue was my server and her appearance. On the evening of Thursday, October 24, my server, who was a larger woman, showed up to my table without a bra. I am a big proponent of self expression. But there should be a warning prior to being seated that my party would be exposed to a very odd wardrobe choice by the server. It needlessly dominated the conversation, and was kinda unappetizing. Needless to say, I won't return. The Gordon Ramsey food hall offers better choices, better food, and INCREDIBLY better service. read more

The first visit was good enough to bring us back again. The first time we had decent service, the waitress was polite & respectful....we got the burgers & they weren't bad at all......our second visit???? They claim to stay open until 12am-1am....they are located inside of a 24/7, 365 casino.... When we arrived at 10pm, we were handed the menu, when our server arrived (about 30 minutes after being sat) - she took those from us & handed us the "late night" menu....the chicken, that we settled for....tasted like something from the grocery store or a cheap food truck. We came here on a Saturday night and ordered a variety of items - the fried chicken sandwich, which was excellent, and a couple of burgers that everyone liked. The pimento cheese burger was a huge hit. The food did take a while, but it was worth the wait. It would have been a pleasant experience except for the obscenely loud music. We were seated at the table closest to the deejay, and shortly thereafter, we asked to move to another table. The new table was slightly quieter, but we still could not hear each other. I'm not sure if this was a one-time event, or something they do every weekend, but it was so loud we all left with migraines. To be clear - we are not old! We're in our twenties and didn't mind the music itself. It was just far too loud for our liking. We wanted to have a leisurely, chatty dinner, but ended up just sitting in "silence" until we left. read more

When you come to Cherokee, the options are very limited. There is no room service, the new Gordon Ramsey concept is just an overpriced food court. It's nearly impossible get a reservation at Brio and Ruth Chris can be more than what you were planning to spend. Basically the food sucks. The chicken bucket has absolutely no flavor at all. Its too expensive for it to be so nasty. Don't bother with the sliders. The cornbread is worse than Jiffy mix. The only thing worth eating is the appetizer wings. I have only tried the spicy dry rub which is really good. When I asked the waitress what were the ingredients because I have allergies, she said she had no clue and had never tried them. SMDH. I won't mention the service. I will definitely come back for the wings but will take them to go. read more

At Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort for 3 days. Was up here last August and visited the Wicked Weed BrewPub enjoying the Bison Sliders for the first time. Loved them so much, that I had to order them again this time around. Quality is consistently delicious. You receive three in an order. They're absolutely delicious! Each is topped with bacon jam, in-house made pimiento cheese and a freshly made pickle slice snuggled between a soft and fluffy slider bun. Even though they're on the appetizer list, they're so filling, that when ordering with a basket of fries, one slider was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. It's one of my favorite entrees from Wicked Weed Brewpub & I highly recommend them! read more

Second time here and second time not happy. Had reservation yesterday (Friday) at 4:00pm. Ordered the #2 listed beer on the menu. After waiting about 15 minutes (remember...Friday..opened at 4:00pm). Asked server about beer and was told she was waiting on it from bar. (Ok...understood). Minutes later she returned and informed me they were out of my requested beer. I understand the environment we are in now. Maybe supply issues. But this is a company owned establishment. I would think they would get preference. Who knows. Next up....bus boy standing in plain view. Won't go into details, but did something not at all sanitary in an eating establishment. Lastly....server never came back to check on us after food was brought to table. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. So, for the reasons listed above, we will not be returning to eat. HOWEVER..... I DO recommend the "Walk up" bar on the outside of the restaurant. The bar tender here was friendly and efficient. BOTTOM LINE: Love Wicked Weed beer!! Restaurant operations need some major "fine tuning"!! read more
