Love this place!!! Awesome peaceful vibe, great beer and food and amazing views! This quant brewery is tucked right along the river. The food was great, huge portions and great prices. Beer is crisp and cold! Staff are super sweet and all had smiles on their faces! Can't wait to come visit on our next trip!

What an experience we had at Frog Level Brewing. It is a fantastic dog-friendly brewery we discovered while staying in Bryson City. After a lovely hike around Lake Junaluska, we stumbled upon this gem in nearby Waynesville. We had no idea how welcoming it would be for dogs until we walked in and bumped into fellow hikers we had met on the trail! Our pup, Schroeder, had a blast playing with Luke and a dog named Whiskey while we enjoyed the beautiful back deck overlooking a small creek. It was such a relaxing atmosphere, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Oh, and the beer was excellent! We especially loved their DIPA. If you're ever in the area with your furry friend, I highly recommend checking Frog Level out, it will not disappoint!

What a view! They're right on the water with tons of outdoor seating to take advantage of their location. They also have lots of indoor seating and a big bar where you put in your order for drinks and food. I'm not a really a beer fan so I appreciated the assortment of local sodas available - I tried the strawberry rhubarb soda which was pretty good but I'd try a different flavor next time. We also tried the fried mushrooms, chili, meatball sub, and wings off their menu - pretty standard fare but good. They also had a pretty varied menu for a brewery with something for everyone in our group.

I love this place! The inside is so cool with a laid back vibe and the outdoor seating on the creek is awesome. They had live music under their new stage which was great. All the beers we had were awesome, especially the hazy and the Frogdelo, their version of a Modelo Negra. The hummus, trout dip, and pimento dip app was very good. However, the smash burger wasn't a true smash, just thin patties on an ok bun with basic toppings. The side of chips with queso wasn't homemade, just out of a jar I believe. My wifes grilled chicken salad was fair, but very basic. Service was good but somewhat slow because they were busy. Would have given five stars but the food wasn't as good as the beer!

We always try to support local whenever we can. Really good beer and a great location! A cousin works here, so we were able to be taken care of very well. Loved the smell of the brewing beer!

This is a very nice bar/brewery with a capable kitchen. The star of the show is the backyard, where you can sit by the creek. I tried the bug-eyed stout and was very good. They have live music some days as well. Excellent place to visit.

First timers and it was a very nice place. The inside is quite cozy with lots of seating areas and the outside had live music with lots of outdoor seating. Just note the tables (pictured below) look to be house made tables outside are small and do not fit tall people very well. It's hard to get your legs under or around to be comfortable. It's nice outside, just not very comfortable unless you score a high top maybe, a picnic table or some of the other chairs. And sitting again the brick is wall (we tried for a while too) but it was a no go. So, we did find a nice couch inside that was a great spot. We had a couple of the sours which were good and the stuffed tots. The tots were very good and recommended. Yummy! We would absolutely go back but just not sit outside. We're just too tall for their seating. The inside was perfect.

Beer is...eh. Not my favorite. But they had one sour that was pretty alright. I came here because my Airbnb was in this town and I needed to waste some time before check in. There is a public parking lot right across the street from the brewery, which was a big draw and convenience for me. The space is huge, lots of room for groups or events. I ordered a flight, because I like trying new things. I should have just gotten a full pour of something I knew was in my wheelhouse. I didn't love most of what I got to try, but you know that's why we try things! The Ultraviolet Guanabana was my favorite of the four I got, tasty and fruity and tart. I had a nice, brief visit here, listening to a podcast while I sipped my drinks. I didn't feel drawn to buy anything to-go and bring home with me, but I enjoyed myself well enough while I was here.

So fun! Very nice indoor seating. Outdoors is on the river. Food was great with very fast service.

Im not sure this is the worst restaurant I've been to, but certainly close. It felt like an indoor ally way and the patrons all looked lost. I'm not sure I ever figured out what was going on at this place. It could be me, but maybe it's the times we live in. We walked in and could not really tell if it was seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Turns out that you find a place to sit and order at the bar. You then wait forever to wonder if your food is going to come. The food comes out and you watch the staff wonder around for five minutes until they find who the order belongs to. Perhaps they could improve their system. We had chicken nachos, cold. Brisket grilled cheese, cold. Brisket tacos, cold. We didn't order them cold, but apparently that's how they come. We also had an order of loaded tots, which were slightly larger than normal tater tots with cheese inside. Five of them for $9. Had the food been warm it might have been good, however we will never know. My tacos just tasted like onions. The grilled cheese tasted like dog food. The nachos had a few beans, a couple of jalapeño slices, a hint of cheese and drowned in sour cream. The place was pretty loud and then the live music sounded like a death march. There were dogs being paraded through the place while they barked at each other. Add to it the ceiling fans were on full blast with the ac going while it was a cold winter day. Not sure what was colder, the outside temperature, the food, or the inside eating area. I love Waynesville, but will skip Frog Level. Don't fall for the positive reviews.

Ended up using the back of the booth for our water bottle and condiments and still struggled for space. Buffalo wings were good but not exactly Buffalo. No buttery spicy hot sauce. It was more peppery than buffalo. Wings were cooked perfectly though Reuben is excellent as are the jalapeno Mac bites. Cheese dip was also excellent but we (and the table next to us) had to ask for more chips. Not portioned terribly well. Beer options were very slim (2 on tap from what it gathered). I'm sure there were plenty of bottled options but draft was disappointing. We ordered the ale but they tapped out and brought us brown ale. At 5pm...only a brown and stout on tap. Overall, it was a pretty middling experience but the food was good and they offer a military appreciation discount.

We stopped by our first day for lunch and I ordered the classic Reuben and fries. Both were delicious I loved the fries so much. My husband ordered the bacon and pimento smash burger which was just as delicious! Day two I had a chicken sandwich and he ordered the Cuban. Day three we had the soft pretzels and cheese dip. Those were bomb! My favorite cocktail was the Italian Spritz. It was so light and just a nice refreshing drink for the afternoon. Service was average. Nothing terrible or great. You can tell they get pretty busy each day. What I really loved was all of the photos of dogs framed on the walls! It was fun to see all the different pups that had been added over the years

The kind of place where you stop in for "just one" and suddenly realize the sun has set and you've somehow made three new friends... aka my favorite kind of brewery! I wish we could've stayed for the live music because the stage setup looked awesome, complete with disco balls and plenty of Instagram-worthy areas for pictures and boomerangs (yes, I'm a millennial and I'm sticking with it)! The beers were excellent, and it became clear pretty quickly that this brewery is woven into the fabric of the town. Their brews popped up at several restaurants we visited, and after stopping in, I totally understand why they're so well-loved in the area. The space is huge, with high ceilings and plenty of room to spread out. There's even an outdoor area built out along the sidewalk--probably a COVID addition that was too good to take away. The vibe was laid-back and welcoming. Service at the bar could've been a bit more attentive, but everyone was friendly and chill, so it never bothered us. And my favorite moment? Watching a grandpa-aged regular stroll in with his own paper plate "poor man's charcuterie board." I absolutely loved it. That's the kind of place this is, a spot where regulars feel at home and newcomers instantly want to become regulars! No food that I could tell, but honestly, with great beer, good vibes, live music, disco balls, and Jell-O shots, who needs much else?! If you're brewery hopping around town, make sure this one is on your list. It was our favorite stop, and I'd happily spend an entire afternoon getting lost here. Also, not sure if the Jell-O shots are a staple or not so don't be sad if they aren't there, I didn't asked, just vibed lol

They have a ton of space inside with a pretty decent size stage and a couple of tables outside. Also dog friendly which was nice (more so I could pet them) I really liked the melt, for a hazy, it had good mix of slight citrus and hop. Easy to drink, the Love Henson and Soft Focus were good too, but one of them kind of tasted like weed at the beginning but then grows on you. We came on a Sunday, where there was live music. Very nice place to chill and has good vibes.
