service is great, the food is good but the A/C rarely works. We go there 3-4 times a week. I feel sorry for the employees, that's not a good working condition. On several occasions I've seen several tables come in sit and turn around and leave because of the heat. I'm thinking of coming less often. It's unbelievable. read more

Monday evening around 5:30 we stopped in to try a different pizza place. We were seated promptly and we ordered our drinks while deciding on which pizza to order. We chose the thin crust house pizza and it was very good. The crust was a little soggy for my taste but the flavor was really good. The restaurant was clean and a little noisy. read more

I go on Tuesdays for the Big Slice Special (meatball and banana peppers) but you can select your toppings. A friend's granddaughter had a burger that she said was "the best" and it was huge for a kids burger. They have street parking. Full ball and great staff. read more

I got a pizza slice and it was huge! It was the size of two regular slices. You can have it customized to your taste without having to order an entire pie. It was tasty. I also had a French martini which was delicious. The service was top notch. This 5 star review is for the servers!!! Mainly Jordan who didn't show an ounce of annoyance when we and 3 other tables walked in after 9:15; place closes at 10. In all fairness, Waynesville you are a sleepy town (most places stop serving at 9pm). All that being said, we were hungry after a late day of hiking and found this fun place. Jordan was the sweetest and very prompt even though multiple tables came in at once (and late). Ordered a few drinks - flavorful and swift. Ordered a variety a food, all great for late night eatery; pizza, quesadilla; street tacos; kids burger (best valued kids meal I've seen in a while). Pizza reminded me of childhood pizzerias! We went for "linner" a few days ago. I got a small pizza, she got tacos. My pie was delicious! Best so far in the area. Great dough, adequate toppings, cooked nicely. Great little pizza place in downtown Waynesville! The White pie was delicious and the wings were great! The pizza crust is sooo tasty and the pizza had really good flavor. We had the nachos also but the kids ate them too quickly for a picture. The toppings were good but the chips themselves were kind of stale. Spent the weekend in Maggie valley riding our bike. 1st night we arrived we walked over to Sauced for some grub. We got sat quickly then from there it was questionable. We didn't get greeted by a server until We had to ask and then it kinda seemed like we were more of a bother then a paying customer. Once we received our drinks, it took sometime to get a food order in. Once we got a waitress to take our food the rest of the visit wasn't so bad . Service got better and the pizza was petty good. Mixed feelings on weather I would come back or not based on the first impressions and about of time we had to wait to be greeted. read more

We visited Sauced on a Monday afternoon and were immediately seated. They had many drink options to choose from. Since it was a Monday afternoon, it was pretty quiet but it seems like it would be a good place to come for dinner and drinks on a weekend afternoon. We decided to try the Nachos & added Chori Pollo. The serving size was plentiful. For our main meal, we decided on the Quesadilla Burger & the Spicy Bacon Jam Burger. The quesadilla burger had delicious flavor but unfortunately was hard to eat as it was falling apart. The spicy jam burger was delicious as well. It was VERY spicy, in our opinion. When we arrived at this location it looked very trendy and I felt comfortable since most of the tables were full. Our waitress came up and lacked much personality but did a great job taking our order. From that point on it was mediocre at best and she watched our cups go empty for quite some time before coming back over to refill them. While wandering Waynesville, we walked out of the Sassafras on Main store, saw the "open for lunch" sign at Sauced, and decided to try it. The menu is a bit eclectic with part pizza, part tacos, and some appetizers. We went with the pizza and it was a good choice. Both the meat lovers (on thin/crispy crust) and house pizza (on hand tossed crust) were very good. The toppings were tasty and the sauce was good, without that too-much-tomato-paste feeling. I liked that the toppings were diced small for better distribution and more "stuff" per bite. The small wasn't very small- we could have definitely shared one at lunchtime. Prices are a little high but the quality is there. They were swamped at lunchtime and only had two servers working it looked like, but they did their best and were friendly. I'd happily go back if I lived in the area, and I've recommended it to family who do live nearby. read more

Not from here, I have been in the food and restaurant industry 15+ years. This place has a winning combo with the bar/ pizza combo. The menu is next level bar food so you can come with family for dinner or grab some tacos and a brew. The building was clean and interesting to glance around at and the roll up front windows allowed for at least 2-3 seats with a view of the mountain. Again 15 years in the game.....the garlic cheese pizza was the best slice of white sauce pizza I have ever had in my life. The crust was freshly fired and crispy and perfect. We got the garlic bread bites and the marinara on the side was some of the best red sauce I have ever had. I don't know who did the recipes but damn.......bravo. Pretty sure everyone on the clock but the bartender was drinking, nothing crazy but noticeable. Great little place, just needs more business. read more

Sauced is the place where everybody knows your name. It's a great little spot in downtown Waynesville. They have a little something for everyone in their menu: tacos, pizzas, burgers, salads as well as quite a few Mexican style dishes. Their prices are fair and the food is really good. The inside is a bit small and since they're following Covid guidelines there's limited seating inside. I sat at the bar and saw a lot of people order door dash and take out. The southwestern salad with the chipotle ranch is really good and only $9. I came twice when I was in town. Second time I got the chicken fajita quesadilla which was also good! read more

My husband and I were married 11 years ago today, and that's when I became a step mom. So the three of us are on an anniversary adventure for the day and we got hungry. Found this place. Y'all. It is sooo good! We started with the bread bites and they were so soft and the cheese and garlic were perfectly melted and the marinara sauce was not too acidic. My husband and I split a burger which was good, but the star was the shrimp tacos! I could have eaten a million of them they had so much flavor. The best part though, the customer service. Our daughter is extremely picky. She ordered the chicken tenders and they came out a little darker because they are a thicker piece of chicken. They offered to go back and remake them after first pounding out the chicken so they won't have to cook as long. She was so stuffed after the bread and fries she was only able to eat one but we boxed them up for later. WE LEFT THEM ON THE TABLE! How about they came and found us to give us the box! She was so thankful that she still gets to eat the tenders tonight after our trip up in the mountains. read more

Most recently, we ordered takeout, and the bartender seemed put out to give me the order. Luckily, I checked the order before driving home, as there were a couple of things missing. This is some of the best Pizza we've ever eaten. We been visiting Waynesville for over 6 years now and love the local restaurants. About 4 years ago, we dropped into Sauced and the place was full but there were a couple of stools at the bar. We ordered a couple of wines and a deluxe pizza. Stopped by while in the area and had a wonderful experience. Ordered a plethora of food including a burger with tots which was cooked perfectly and had fresh toppings. Also had carnitas tacos and mahi tacos which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lastly was the southwest salad with blackened shrimp had the freshest ingredients and perfectly cooked shrimp. Super friendly service and glasses were never empty. Ambiance is a clean family friendly bar feel with music playing and sports on the TVs.
