And that's ok too. Being about your $. I'm very quiet, doesnt say much. I had purchased the facial package where I'd get 3 facials. My daughter was in ICU so obviously, I'm not leaving her bedside, and I get it. people lie, but as a long term customer. (coming since at the BOA building) It wouldve been nice to see some form of compassion. She told me and I quote "Well you should've told me so I could've had someone else fill that spot". I was disappointed, but business is business. It wouldve been comforting to see her at least try to reschedule or PRETEND TO CARE! . This morning I was doing my hair in the room next door and it went over time. This time, she said "you should've said something earlier, so I could've filled in the spot, but you just sat there" That was a trigger for me as it reminded me of last year when she said that same thing after I explained my situation. Actually made me tear up. What happened to compassion? I drive all the way from palm beach because i love to see my sisters excel, and both ladies there do a great job. (I'm not looking for friends either in case you read this) I've even seen a LHHP actress there before. And Tianna was sooooo nice and bubbly to her, then when I was next, just a dry personality. OK. I get it. I'm no celebrity, but listen, as a nurse, & adjunct professor, I NEVER make any of my patients or students feel less than. Doesn't matter what kind of insurance or background they have. I treat my homeless patients just as well as my wealthy patients. A little compassion goes a long way. I will NO longer be supporting this business and i guarantee she cares zero. But young lady, this is not the way to do business. Also sweety, your Linkedin says you are a UM med school student. Fake News. See, you never know who is walking through your doors. Funny too.... his mannerisms were much like american behavior. He loved football, his son was playing little league football. He always made you feel welcome the moment you walked through the door. One of my last time there, I remember him telling me he and his wife were going to run the business behind the scene as they were young and had a growing family. And that became their focus. I'm not too sure who's managing the place now. But, the owner need to come back before there is no life left in this place. Right now, it's on life support. I called Lana's and requested to changed the appt and was told that this was no problem. Fast forward to me arriving today for my Friday appt, and I was greeted at the door by the owner Lana. I go the the front counter to check in with the receptionist, and she asks me for my name, and begins looking for my appt. After a few minutes of waiting I look at her face and realize she looks confused. She begins speaking in Russian to Lana in front of me, and immediately knew there was an issue. I ask them is there was an issue and they both awkwardly laugh and explain that my appt for some reason is not showing up in the system. I show them my email confirmation, paid deposit, and call log of when I call the day before to reschedule my appt. After a few more minutes of awkward silence they propose that I reschedule which was not feasible because I do not live in the area and was already working on a tight schedule. I politely asked for deposit to be refunded, which the did, and left. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but I felt extremely uncomfortable with the level of customer service I received and would never return.
