I truly thought this place was friendly, but I was completely wrong. I came in as a walk-in just to pick up my shots to take home. I didn't mind waiting--that wasn't the issue. The issue started when I politely asked how much longer it would take because my mother was waiting for me outside. The doctor came in with an extremely snarky attitude, making unnecessary comments like, "Clearly if you didn't need anyone to inject you, you would've just taken it and walked right out of the office." She then sucked her teeth and said, "You're not even an appointment, you're just a walk-in," in a very rude tone. Later, when I tried to schedule another appointment over the phone, they told me not to come back because they "didn't feel comfortable." For the record, I never gave anyone an attitude, never raised my voice, and was never disrespectful. It's perfectly normal for someone to ask how long! But what is not normal is the lack of remorse the doctor gives only about herself I could sue her I wanted to for the nasty comments she made! but the way I was treated was completely unprofessional and uncalled for and they made me feel sad! After they hurt my feelings! I will never return to this place, and I will make sure others know how deceitful they are. I'm very public online--with over 1 million followers on YouTube and Instagram--and I will absolutely share my experience. Beware of Miami Lakes Med Spa.

I was going to buy a package of three and add vitamin C and gluthathione. As I get IVs regularly and the place I go to had closed due to covid. I signed in on time and was not told anyone would be with me but I stayed patient. 20 minutes later, I asked the receptionist if It would be longer as I had to be at an appointment in Miami in a couple of hours. She said yes and 15 minutes later, no one had even come out to say they'd assist me soon. I walked right out. They called me an HOUR later and I told them the same. My life doesn't revolve around an Iv. If I can leave my house an hour prior to be on time, the least they can do is start my consultation on time. 45 minutes wait is unacceptable. No indication of when someone would be with me is unacceptable!!

Este tipo de manejo es alarmante. Vender un paquete y luego negarse a honrarlo es una práctica que mina la confianza y perjudica directamente al consumidor. En un mercado como Miami, donde la profesionalidad es clave, esto simplemente es inaceptable. Entre la falta de privacidad, el trato inconsistente, el servicio improvisado y la cancelación irresponsable de mi última sesión, mi conclusión es clara: no recomiendo este lugar bajo ninguna circunstancia. She said that if I paid "now" (before I left that day), she would reduce the payment to $150 for the touch-up. I hesitated, but since she was "nice", I thought I could trust her. BIG MISTAKE! When I contacted her a month later, she made it impossible to make a follow-up appointment. Then, when she finally did confirm a second appointment with me, but she confirmed the appointment for her to to do my one month touch-up at a RNDOM PRIVATE RESIDENCE APT!!! And then she ended up cancelling our appointment two days before. I asked for my money back. She asked me if she could Zelle me back "in two days - Friday". And guess what? She never has. That was over a month ago now. She has never responded to me. I have called her, left voicemails and texted her, and she has never responded nor paid me back. She essentially stole $150 from me. My hard earned money. I am a single young person trying to live on my own in an expensive city. And because I live at least an hour away, and I work more than 45 hour work weeks, I have not been able to go in-person and try to get my money back. Not to mention, she works irregular hours renting a room from some random salon that is NOT this salon. Super weird situation. Shame on you, Jenny. Shame. on. you! P.S. Excited that I was finally getting rid of the unwanted hair I booked my appt immediately. I was able to get the appt within the same week and was able to book 5-7 weeks in advance at every vist. The place is small and beautifully decorated. It has a spa like feel to it with soft colors, music and smells nice. The owner,Alcira, usually greeted me at the door and I went straight to the table for my service, if I had to wait it was never anymore than 10 minutes. Alcira is not very chatty and has a serious demeanor but I prefer it that way, I'm looking for permanent hair removal not a best friend! I liked her because she's to the point and knows her stuff. I never felt uncomfortable, burnt or bruised and the results shows her skills. (I would know because since than I bought another livingsocial deal and I'm currently feeling all the above). The light sheer dual machine itself is very comfortable compared to other machines I have experienced. Within each session I never felt the intensity of the laser, therefore I barely felt any pain or discomfort. I definitely would go back & pay for regular services, her prices are pretty decent compared to other places plus she gives deals on services. Since than I have finished all my sessions and Alcira even provided me with an additional 7th session just to make sure all the hairs were caught (my deal covered 6). Without hesitation I'd recommend her to anyone who is having laser hair removal for the first time since she made my experience wonderful. My favorite part of all was going to Chick fil A that's nearby afterwards :p
