She said that if I paid "now" (before I left that day), she would reduce the payment to $150 for the touch-up. I hesitated, but since she was "nice", I thought I could trust her. BIG MISTAKE! When I contacted her a month later, she made it impossible to make a follow-up appointment. Then, when she finally did confirm a second appointment with me, but she confirmed the appointment for her to to do my one month touch-up at a RNDOM PRIVATE RESIDENCE APT!!! And then she ended up cancelling our appointment two days before. I asked for my money back. She asked me if she could Zelle me back "in two days - Friday". And guess what? She never has. That was over a month ago now. She has never responded to me. I have called her, left voicemails and texted her, and she has never responded nor paid me back. She essentially stole $150 from me. My hard earned money. I am a single young person trying to live on my own in an expensive city. And because I live at least an hour away, and I work more than 45 hour work weeks, I have not been able to go in-person and try to get my money back. Not to mention, she works irregular hours renting a room from some random salon that is NOT this salon. Super weird situation. Shame on you, Jenny. Shame. on. you! P.S. Very good. I did the eyebrow microblading and am happy with the results. I wanted a particular shape and she adjusted it until it fit what I had envisioned. I drove all the way from Coconut Grove and feel the logn drive was worth it. read more

Did the microblading and I wasn't impressed. I was told to return in a month after the service and it didn't take so why bother for a follow to retouch and pay full price. I went to this location by a Groupon I bought, I had been for a long time considering Microblading and found their Groupon scrolling for things to do in Fl (I just moved here) I immediately searched in internet for their reviews and decided to do it. Uneasy, I arrived nervous and Jenny was the sweetest, took her time talking to me, asking about my health and the certainty of my decision, then she showed me samples of her work, I loved it and it made me feel much better, she didn't seem to care I had a Groupon and treated me as if I paid top price, I have to reiterate how much time she took with me, even to choose the color, she showed me her palette and explained which colors would match my skin tone, she share which would her choice be and let me choose. The results were amazing, definitely way better than anything I'd ever imagined, I will not stop talking about this little business and this wonderful lady, and I can tell you something else, she won a client for life. Starting from the calls to make the appointment at this place is just so welcoming. The people are AMAZING and just so nice here. I come here to get laser on my chin and hands down the most delicate laser I've ever had! I used to go to a place in coral gables and I would be nervous every time because as the laser would pull my hairs, it would hurt a lot but in this place, it's the complete opposite! Jenny and Rosie were excellent at trying to make up for a last minute Appt cancelation. I thought the lash service felt a bit rushed but the product was good & I liked the lash extensions. They have started to fall out a few days after and Maybe since it was my first time and I didn't know what to expect, I felt Jenny was a bit rough In her application. She didn't consult before the Appt or ask how I wanted the look. Thankfully they came out very natural looking and I made sure to tip her nicely. Not sure I'll risk going back for the refill though even though it was included in the special. Eyes are soo important, u shouldn't skimp. Seems like Jenny is trying to do many things with her business and doesn't seem to really take the time needed for the lash application. Overall, the place was clean and they offer many services. I've been dealing with severe acne for many years now and some of it has to do with hormones and stress. I started going to this spa back in April for facials, it's now July and wow the results are incredible. My acne has been reduced by about 70 percent. I've gone to other spas and for some reason this one works, maybe it's the products they use or the kindness that radiates lol. Angie is incredibly sweet and she descriptive as to what you should and shouldn't be eating as well as what products are good for your skin. I had a Groupon for lash extensions and another refill, and I honestly wasn't too happy with the result. This was my first time getting lash extensions. The receptionist, Rosy, is very nice and friendly, however, I got to the salon 30 minutes early, but ended up going inside 30 minutes past my appointment time. Jenny did my lashes and I was uncomfortable while she worked. She seemed very rough and kind of rude, I tried telling her the eye pads were bothering me and she swatted my hands away and told me not to touch my eyes - even though I was just pointing to where I was uncomfortable. I expected to be able to relax during the process but instead I was lead into a bright, cold white room and told to sit on top of the table. Jenny had someone else talking to her the entire time, as well as other people coming in and out of the room. The noise from the rest of the salon was also very loud, not relaxing at all. Jenny hardly talked to me, but talked about me to the other person with her - telling her I twitch too much, my lashes were too floppy, the lashes kept twisting, etc. If she was trying to teach someone how to apply lashes, that's fine. But I do think the client should be asked first if they're ok with another person in the room, much less being discussed as if the client isn't right there. The only other time she spoke to me, was at the very end to tell me I couldn't buy another groupon, I had to pay full price next time. I obviously knew that, it's just weird and rude that it was the only thing she actually spoke to me about. Once I opened my eyes, I told her something was bothering me but she told me it was just my eyes adjusting. Once I got home, I realized some lash was twisted and glued incorrectly. It had twisted into my eye, I don't know how she could've looked at that and told me I had to get over it. I had to pull out my real lash and it was very painful. I was told to leave a review but I decided to wait until after the refill to say anything. Once I came in for the refill, I was taken care of by Tatiana, who actually works at VG Beauty and I have visited before, so I'm not sure what happened there. However, the difference between Jenny and Tatiana was clear - Tatiana gave me a blanket, a neck pillow, calm music to relax to, and was so much more gentle with my lashes. She had trouble performing the refill as she pointed out multiple lashes were bunched together with glue - exactly where I had told Jenny I was in pain. She somehow managed to separate them with minimal pain, and the results from her were 100x better. I wouldn't really ever go back here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. If they had been nicer, maybe I would consider it, but it's really not worth all the trouble. read more

Who doesn't use hard wax these days....the owner asked me what I thought about the wax and I told her the truth that I was not a fan of the wax and strip. If I was able to give Just4Body 6 stars, I would. Such a positive and loving environment. It's a family owned business and everything is done with so much love and care. I went for microblading (first time ever going to this spa.) I am 23 years old and I've never done anything like this before. I was so nervous but Jenny (owner) immediately made me feel right at home. She was meticulous, informative and most of all PATIENT! She answered all of my questions with a graceful smile. She really cares about her clients and the outcome of the procedure. Everyone in the salon was very attentive. They offered me food, water, tips to care for my eyebrows, etc. Best part of this experience, MY BROWS CAME OUT FABULOUS. She really nailed it and I could not be happier with the results! Worse place ever, do not go there . Jenny is very unprofessional, I called when I was on my way to the appointment for confirmation nobody pick up the phone, I left early from work to get there on time and she make me wait one hour she gave me 30 pages "contract" which she never explained to me and she was on the phone the whole time while I was asking questions about it. When finally start the microbliding she did very fast more was the waiting time that the time she took to do it she told me I was bleeding too much and it was hard to work in the design of my eyebrows, a professional suposed to be prepared for this situations . When I saw my eyebrows I wasn't happy at all. I told her to correct the shape to fill more my eyebrows then she said oh! they are much better than when you came. My eyebrows look like painted not the same shape both I was ashamed but I didn't want to make a big deal in that moment. I asked the same day to a friend who had microbliding done about how they look and she told that it didn't seem to be right. Next day I went to talk to Jenny to ask what she can do since I was not comfortable how my eyebrows look she told me oh don't worry right now there is nothing I can do we have to wait until it heals and then I can make corrections. I went back to her place after 15 days enough time for the healing expecting she resolve the issue however her respond was if you dont like my job you dont have to come with for the re-touch which was additional money you can go with someone else. Jenny said you have to wait for them to heal but you keep coming to my office for the same question. I definatelly was sure that I didn't want her anymore I decided to dispute the charges with my bank since my eyebrows were looking bad now I always have to paint it and I schedule apppointment with a real profesional for microbliding and she confirmed that the job was very poor and unprofesional . My recomendation is to be careful when you go there and what you sign because she will say that customer is aware about the procedure and that there is no guaranty on results. read more

Echoing the hidden gem review... It's tucked away in the outskirts of Miami Lakes behind the Miami Lakes Police Station. I have visited twice for different services and have left satisfied each time. The first time I came for acrylic nail removal and gel manicure. I was in desperate need to remove some hideous acrylics before I returned to my nursing position from maternity leave and they were able to grant me an appointment immediately after calling. The appointment option meant no wait, no stress. I was welcomed with smiles and offers of fresh fruit, coffee, water and an array of teas. My manicurist eased into pleasant conversation and was very detailed in her work. She was not rushed and for once a manicure didn't feel like I was being serviced by a machine. The second visit was for a couples massage. I opted for the deep tissue massage; the only way to go, in my opinion. My therapist was very good with her hands and located all my trouble spots. A nice touch: a little bit of aromatherapy to start, a warm towel was laid on my back after the massage and I was immediately offered my choice of water, wine or tea when it was over. All I needed was a nap! The massage was everything. I gave a 4 star review only because the room could have been a bit warmer (but I'm usually cold anyway). Bought my mother a groupon for microblading and in awe with the results. First time we went Jenny took care of her. She took her time, measured the eyebrows and explained the process to ease my mother anxiety. She explained the healing process and how the color will eventually fade a bit but, not to worry it was normal. She advised mother to go back and retouch them to make sure all the pigment was perfect and the color my mother wanted met her expectations. My mother healed and it was lighter as Jenny had mentioned. She advise go go a bit darker to really bring those eyes brows since my mother literally had maybe 4-7 hairs as eyebrows before. I have to say Jenny did an amazing job, my mother is extremely happy with her results and the service she provided. Also, the staff is very courteous, accommodating, and overall professional. This is not a spa. Do not waste your time or money coming here. I made an appointment for a mani pedi. When I called they asked how I was paying, that's weird I thought. I told them a Spa Finder card. The girl told me that they would redeem my card and that I could come back for additional services. I told her that I wanted to pay only for the services I was calling for and not redeem the entire amount of the card. When I opposed she said that was fine. I should have hung up and called somewhere else. When I showed up for my mani pedi, the lady that did my nails was not pleasant, not rude but definitely not good service. There was no music, nail area was messy and it just was not spa quality. I asked the lady that was doing my nails about their nail services and the differences between their packages, she shrugged and said I don't know. I had just looked at the menu of services and had seen the list of different nail services but they failed to list the specific services included in each. But then she added they only did regular or shellac. At that point I realized I was dealing with a lazy worker not interested in customer retention. When she was doing the manicure I finally read what each package included and I realized that even the least expensive package included cream and a soft tissue massage which she had not performed. When she was almost done with me she asked if I was paying with a group on, I said no and at that point she wanted to make conversation. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. After I paid, she stood by until I gave her tip, which I shouldn't have. The polish was nicely done but she skipped on services. She hardly removed dead skin from my feet, no massage or cream and worst of all awful customer service. Do not make my mistake and stick yourself in this place. read more

I did and figured accidents happen. Then 2 more appointments went well, with less than 30 min wait. Then the next, I had to wait for an hour and a half!! Every single time there was more people waiting with me wondering what was going on. This time they said it was because they messed up giving out the appointments and that they gave more than they could take. I was pretty angry by now at the lack of respect they show for other people's time. So for the next time they offered to give me the first appointment of the day so that this time it would be alright. I got there and nobody showed up, not the receptionist and not the specialist. At the beauty salon they told me they weren't coming after waiting 30 min for someone to show up. This business has such poor practices that it shouldn't be on the market at all. Do yourself a favor and stay away. The place has also considerable lack of hygine, it could use some deep cleaning. It is also complicated to get an appointment because they only work certain days a week, and even then they might still not show up. When confronted about this, their only solution is to keep rebooking you for another day, and if they were trustworthy this would solve it, but they are not. So that I would only keep wasting my time if I insisted on getting the service I paid for. Also be aware that they charge you taxes over what you paid in groupon payable at the time of first appointment. Laser didn't work for me in these few appointments and except for Sarah, the laser assistants are very unproffesional, and to add to that they should really upgrade their laser machine to Candela or any other that gives actual results. read more

This place is a not a hidden gem as people have said. It's in a rundown plaza. I went for a facial and the esthetician didn't speak any English. The facial rooms are right by the pedicure chairs. The noise and chatter in here is outrageous. The facial room was a very large, bright room. Not intimate at all. They don't give you a robe or a wrap which is so unusual. I laid on the table in my clothes and she put a hand towel over my neck. It was very uncomfortable. I was freezing the entire time. Not to mention the vaporizer was loud and sounded like a vacuum cleaner in my ears. I made a signal to the esthetician and she said "5 mins then it will stop." If it needed to be warmed up, it should have been done before. It sounds like it's old and broken. Also, it didn't stop. It continued to be loud. It was so loud you couldn't hear the music. This place didn't live up to the hype. I'm sure the esthetician is a nice lady but she didn't speak English and it's a disservice to the client. I didn't know what was being used on my face. She left the room several times and didn't say a word to me. I was in there wondering when she was coming back. Some random lady opened the door twice to look inside. If the door is closed, it's obvious the room is occupied. If you are looking for a nice comfy relaxing spa feel...this place is not that. Their website is but not the place. Very misleading.
