She refilled my gel nails to where they look like I have nothing on them. I told her to add her special touch to a simple yet classic nude design. What I loved most was how clear and communicative she was throughout the process, explaining what she was doing and making thoughtful suggestions based on my lifestyle. That's rare these days. Most places are more of a "get it done and have a nice day" experience. I'm a big fan of hard work, fair pricing, and most importantly, consistency. Tiana and Susan (who did my pedi) does exactly that. They treated me the same way they treated my friend, with a soft, gentle touch in everything they do. Susan did the most relaxing pedi I've had in quite sometime. From start to finish, you're genuinely taken care of. Highly recommend checking them out. They have great client photos on their socials and offer special rates for teachers and seniors. Rose's Nails in Hallandale is definitely a gem.

Most painful pedicure of my life and my big toes were infected after! Warning on graphic…read moredescriptions ahead... I went on a whim with a friend. I have maybe gotten 2 pedicures in my life before this so didn't have many to compare against. The dude dug into my toes to pull out cuticles completely. Like deep excavation on the big toes. To the point I'm silently screaming internally and outwardly calling out ow ow ow it hurts. The dude stops but then continues and I watch him pull cuticle strips out from deep in my nail bed. It was the same feeling when you tear hang nails too deep. Not good. I wasn't sure if this is typical. Surprisingly the left big toe hurt a lot more like I was ready to cry and it bled a bit and he dabbed it but it turned out less messed up than my right one. He did hold the left one a bit on one of the yanks. My toes were stinging and throbbing then eventually either went away or went numb. The rest of the pedicure seemed to go okay as the polish and shape actually looked really good. Fast forward to two days later. My toes still hurt. They passed for a bit but then came back really hurting. Took my shoe off tonight after traveling and realized my right toe is swollen and leaking pus on both sides. My left one looks like it started to bleed and maybe slightly swollen. The flitting thought came back. I don't think this place was very sanitary. For example, they took the dremel they used on my friend to buff her toe nails and used the cuticle pick to pick out some debris then used the dremel on my toenails. Then later used the pick on my toes again. I should have known. Before the pus, I was willing to overlook the pain and think maybe I was just really out of maintenance and it's part of the process but no way on the infected toes.

From the outside it does not look the best, but I promise you to give it a chance. Laura is lovely and perfect amount of talking. Very sweet and makes you feel right at home. There's good music playing and my service (Brazilian wax) was done quickly and efficiently. I have been to several other waxing places all over the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area, European wax center had me having to pay for someone else to re-wax because they literally missed 40% of waxing. It was ridiculous. And natura spa but after trying several estheticians there each one either left my scarred from the wax being too hot and ignoring my requests to cool it down, or they left behind many patches. And that is just to name a couple. Laura did a perfect job. Quick job with waxing and very low pain. Which I've learned means you have a good esthetician that knows your growth pattern. But she did a flawless job. Definitely recommend. A lovely experience. Best job I have yet to have done! I definitely recommend her.

When she does something wrong she will yell, she will fuss, and she will try her hardest to blame…read moreyou for it. I initially came to her for sugaring. I read the reviews and felt she was the best choice. She's very personable. I decided on armpits, Brazilian, face and eyebrows. My Brazilian and armpits went fairly well. I had more ingrowns after this sugaring than the previous one, I'm not sure who's to blame. To be honest. I know I exfoliate. My eyebrows were gorgeous, no issues there. The face sugaring... she told me I had bumps because of folliculitis. This was the first case of her dodging blame and blaming the customer. It was my first time having the hair removed from my face. So I'm not sure if that's true or not but what I do know is. She does double dip in the wax. So it could have been a a slight infection. Today when she messed up my eyebrows, well.... the skin under them.... she tried to tell me that it was a normal thing just like she said the folliculitis was a normal thing. She went from saying all I made a mistake I didn't hold your skin tight enough..... to saying it's a normal thing it happens to everyone. I'm starting to think the "folliculitis" was not a normal thing. It caused a lot of hyperpigmentation on my face. For which she also wouldn't hold herself accountable for. The thing is, if it was just folliculitis, then my eyebrows and lip should've had folliculitis as well but it was just on the sides. I've had to explain multiple times if someone comes to you to receive a treatment, and when they leave their face is worse. You have to hold yourself accountable for stuff like that. Today I had to explain to her that you can't mentally manipulate someone and try to make them feel like it's their fault when you do something wrong. She tried to tell me if you're out in the sun too much or maybe use retinol or maybe it's just the wax the wax took the skin off. No you control the way you waxed the skin off my face. She said she never had a client try to make her feel bad before. And I was a bad person. But I can't make you feel bad if you feel bad.... it's because you know you did something wrong. She kept saying that I should stop accusing her. When it was fresh and it just happened.... and there is no one else to, as she calls it, accuse. She started getting loud she started talking over me all of the signs that people exhibit when they know they're wrong. She had a client that was coming right after me even though she said she didn't work on Mondays. I think maybe she was rushing. Imagine putting wax on a wax strip on skin, and not holding it taut. When you go to rip it off, the skin is going to lift with it vs holding it tight enough so it can't. But she tried to tell me "the wax grabbed the skin and the skin just lifted" at first. The skin doesn't just lift on its own. When she saw I wasn't buying it then she said..... "maybe I didn't hold your skin enough". She keeps calling it a minor "skin irritation" what I don't think she understands is.... she waxed multiple layers of skin off of my face. I've got quite a bit of hyperpigmentation on my skin from the sugaring.
